This restaurant has beautiful ambience. The bar is nice for casual dinner with table as well. The room in the back is dressy, white table cloths. Always decorated to the max for holidays. Outside seating has a huge outdoor fireplace and pizza oven. The menu always has many delicious specials. However the last time I went it was closed without notice. Outstanding food! Top notch, unique and delicious. Service could use some work, but this place is new so perhaps just working out the kinks. Had reservations for party of 8. Seated immediately. But our table was ridiculously close to another large table next to us. As there is a large second dining area, this was unnecessary but I understand with staffing trying to keep everyone to one area is easier for service. It's rather pricy, but with the top notch food it's definitely worth it. Everything we had was delicious, appetizers and meals everyone was raving about the food. Don't make your selections until you hear the specials. They have a TON of specials every night, appetizers and entrees. Many of us changed our minds after hearing the amazing special offerings. We will definitely be back. I wish Pulcinella's on the Green much success. It's a wonderful addition to the area. Had a great dinner here Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambience since we weren't expecting much from a restaurant located in a golf course clubhouse. But the white tablecloths, uniformed wait staff and pleasant golf course view made for a delightful setting. The food was excellent showing off the delicate hand of the chef in all dishes. We had generous portions of the Pasta Fagioli, Shrimps Fra Diavolo, Grilled Shrimps and Roasted Potatoes to die for. 9/21/23 Our second dining experience at Pucinella on the green. We were celebrating a dear friends birthday, and wanted something special. We started with the grilled seafood, which featured, shrimp, calamari and octopus, lightly grilled and beautifully served with a chopped salad on the side. The other appetizer we chose was fresh figs wrapped in prosciutto with goat cheese. Delicious! We decided to eat family style and ordered the large ribeye special that was served with broccoli rabe and roasted potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked and very flavorful, the broccoli rabe was tender, studded with beautifully browned garlic. The second entrée that we chose to share was the pasta that they call Sunday gravy. The first time that we dined here hubby ordered it and enjoyed it very much. It is a traditional Sunday sauce served with bracciole, veal meatballs, and sausage over pasta. It was the way he remembered it and we enjoyed it very much. Dessert was an oversized slice of Italian cheesecake with a candle in it. We all sampled the cheesecake and I must say there was plenty of food and we even took some home. The venue is lovely, with a view of the golf course, and the service could not be more professional. Dario took wonderful care of us and we look forward to seeing him in the near future. Very nice place and clean. We had no reservations coz we went for brunch and we figured it won't be busy. But the girl at the entrance was not that nice so she said we could only sit by the bar even if she saw I am very very pregnant and can't sit in a high chair. But she allowed us to sit by the sofas in the bar area but as soon as we sat, she told us that there's an opening in the dining area and it will be more convenient for the waiters. But we decided to stay where we were since we found it nicer and more comfy than the dining area. Food is good but over priced. The chorale I ordered for dessert was not moist at all it was very dry. Serving is good as well. Wait staff are nice. If the girl was nice, I would have given this a five. read more

This is a very, very good restaurant that has the potential to be great. The restaurant is beautiful. The food is very good. The service....well, on the night we dined there, not up to par (Golf joke. This place is on a golf course. See what I did there?) My wife has been a vegetarian for 30+ years. Our waiter wanted to argue that she ordered pasta w sausage and broccoli rabe. I promise you, she did not. And....even if she did, there's this whole "the customer is always right" thing that we have come to expect from higher end restaurants. I digress. We all understand that most restaurants are struggling w labor problems. Know what? That's not MY problem. There was no bad attitude discount offered on the menu. We had a absolutely wonderful time. The bar is beautiful and the atmosphere feels elegant and Hollywood! The food was delicious the chef made everything perfect! The waiter was insightful and knowledgeable of everything on the menu. Impressive! Unfortunately the only drawback was the wine, the wine list could use a upgrade. When I ordered a Chardonnay, the smell was like rotten eggs. Perhaps it was " cork taint?" The bartender commented that they didn't stock up? There are many reasons for wine to get spoiled, bacteria on the cork, improper refrigeration. I'm sure they will figure it out. We switched to vodka but I would have preferred a glass of wine. I had the good fortune of being part of a group to dine at this location. my first impression was how nice the room was and would come back with my wife. Dining with 6 men can be challenging so we left it up to the chef / owner to set the menu for us. We choose the wine named after the restaurant which was a perfect complement to what was to follow. It was the best decision we made! from the appetizers to the main courses the food didn't stop coming. Everything brought out was delicious! as a group there wasn't one thing we didn't like. almost all were speciality dishes to feed a table of 6. when the board of desserts came out I wasn't sure we had room, it we managed to finish. we had after dinner drinks out back overlooking the golf course to end a perfect dining experience! I Just went there for the second time for dinner and was again disappointed with the food. The restaurant is in a nice location right on the golf course. The decor inside was very nice and decorated for the fall season. I wish the food was as good as the ambiance. My son and I shared the ribeye steak special which wasn't advertised for 2 people but considering its price ($150) it should have been. The steak was not good. Lots of fat, grizzle and it didn't seem liked it was seasoned before it went on the grill. It was also pretty chewy. Honestly, it was one of the worst steaks I've had. Also the roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach that came with the entree were both undercooked and were also lacking any seasoning. My wife had the Zuppa di pesce which she liked and my daughter had the pappardelle bolognese which she said was just ok. The calamari appetizer was good and the Cesar salad was fine. The prices are very high, even for the area. Seemed as expensive as Manhattan prices. Drinks are also pricey. $18 for an old fashioned that was not made well and was bright red in color and shy on the bourbon. The service was good and the waiter was attentive and friendly. I think they should mention to the diners that some of the specials are really for 2 people. Sorry to give a bad review, but this was the 2nd time I was there and left disappointed both times. If you are going to charge the high prices, you need to put out consistent high quality food. read more

My husband and I went to dinner here to check it out for an upcoming birthday dinner for my brother and father. We saw that the decor is similar to what it was before when it was called Pure, North Fork. They kept the elegant, upscale atmosphere without the pretentiousness that some other restaurants have. We recognized our server Dario from a previous restaurant he worked at, and we were so happy to see him here. He took care of us, and was as awesome as we remembered him being. The service was excellent and so was the food. My pasta dish was absolutely delicious, with fresh grilled eggplant and mozzarella cheese. My husband had the stuffed veal chop, which he said was delicious. I'll have to take his word for it since I don't eat veal, but the presentation was beautiful. Our apps were also all excellent. Stuffed zucchini flowers, stuffed figs, and a delicious salad with avocados. The food here is definitely better than the previous restaurant, and so is the staff. We had a cocktail at the bar before dinner, and our bartender, Carolina was awesome. She was not only extremely friendly, but she really knows how to make a perfect drink. I had a Cosmo which I knew was going to be perfect from the color, even before I tasted it. I am so happy this place is open again, and that they made the changes they did. Came in with some friends a while back and having been meaning to write a review because of how great our experience was at Pulcinella's. The food, service, and ambiance were all amazing. Our waiter Dario was incredible!!! He deserves recognition!!! He was so funny, kind, and knowledgeable. He had all the answers to any questions we had and was very detail oriented when telling us about the specials (still don't know how he can remember all of them to the T, I am impressed). There's a bit going on in the room we sat in, with the bar, but other than that this place was a great find. The place is decorated beautifully and the staff are very friendly. I want to mention our waiter, Caleb specifically, He made our experience even better. He was personable, knowledgable and attentive. He made sure to give us plenty of time to decide what we wanted, he was happy to answer our questions about some dishes on the menu and knew the specials. We were checked on perfect amount of times and greeted with a smile and a laugh. He was a pleasure and we will be back, not only for the food, but because of his happy, friendly disposition. Ok here it is, we went to pulcinella on the green in wading river with the family for fathers day. My 5 girls 2 son in laws and 5 grandchildren and or course my wife. First of all I was surprised that the place was not packed, I have eaten here before. As an Italian with a family that loved to cook and eat, I'm shocked. I come from west long island grew up in western suffolk and spent alot of time in Brooklyn Queens Manhattan eati.g in some of the best restaurants. With that said the restaurant put here are mostly sub par and we deal. Without mentioning names if you live in this area ypu know of Italian restaurant in rocky point mount siani and the surrounding area and I have visited and eat at most of them and usually have a good meal depending on what you order. Most of them make the normal chicken cutlet parm, rigitoni ala vodka( which isn't really Italian food) will get to that in another discussion. UT this place is different i ha e brought somof my friends from Queens and Brooklyn here and they leave with the same thought why is this place not ha e aline out the door. Not that I want that because I want to be able to eat here... but the food is phenomenal authentic Italian from the giant brick pizza oven over looking the golf course.( beautiful scenery BTW) including the amazing fire place and great ambiance there should be a month long waiting list. This should be a stop on your list of restaurant to stop at TRUST ME you will leave and say wtf ambiance really in wading river granted a nice town just not a town you would think there would be an authentic Italian restaurant with an amazing bar food and atmosphere. The staff is amazing helpful educated in the food they are serving. The wine list is perfect not 500 bottles of wine that aren't affordable, just a perfect blend of whites reds Italian and American blends that you can appreciate. O would love to see ore people visit this place and take a shot. Do t get stuck down the block saying that was OK. The servings are nice come hungry share a dish like family style. The decor was exceptional but the service was unwelcoming. Our waiter never told us there were specials available. They were all just ok. I don't mind paying for a nice meal but this wasn't it. Drinks also pricey and watered down. Very noisy. I give two stars for the wait staff that's it, if you're looking to treat yourself to a nice expensive meal go with one of the many other options to choose from on the east end. read more

Service: For us the service started out very well but over the course of the dinner something must've gone awry as it became difficult to get our waitress' attention and she never even asked if we wanted change from the bill. PS: They charge extra for credit cards. Ambiance: Good. the restaurant is well decorated and designed. There is ample room between table. I would imagine that during the summer there could be done views if the adjoining golf course. Price: Moderate to high but not unreasonable for menu items. Signature drinks are $18+ and barely have any alcohol. Shots were $15 for a scant ounce. I would caution diners tempted to order any of the 'specials' as without an advertised price you could be in for a shock. The halibut was $65. Overall, choose your meals and drinks carefully from the menu and you should be satisfied. read more
