I am definitely a fan of fresh pressed juice. Especially when it comes in a bag. Pulp Juice Bar serves up some really killer combinations. I love that they press the juice right in front of you. Because it is made to order, expect a little bit of a wait. So far I've tried the Lean Green (with spinach, apple and pineapple) and the Squeeze Me (with orange, watermelon and pineapple). I went to Pulp yesterday because I was moderately hungry and not many spots were open on New Years Day. A fresh juice or smoothie sounded good. As I walked in, you get hit with that amazing fresh juice smell. I love that. For some reason, it gives me summer vibes. I decided I wanted a smoothie with some more body to it, so I ordered the Nutter Butter Banana with whey protein and I had them sub peanut butter for almond butter. I know, I'm weird that way. Not a fan of PB mixed in with other foods besides a PB&J sandwich. The 16 oz was about $7- average for any quality juice bar. Taste- not overwhelming, super creamy and more filling since I added the whey protein. Love banana in my smoothies, and this one was great. It could have even had some organic maca or cocoa powder to add a hint of chocolate- now that would have here great. Overall, I will definitely be back. Prices are a tiny bit more than Nekter, but I believe they do give you a little more juice. Love the juice combo options as well. Since it's easier to get to as compared to Nekter, I also love that. Additionally, even though our order was only two milk teas, the whole process of getting in, ordering, and getting our drinks took about 40 minutes. What made it worse was watching a larger group walk in without even looking at the max capacity sign and getting their drinks right away. The milk tea itself was ok, I had the honey milk tea and my partner the pink tea. Today was my first time visiting Pulp. I wanted to go after I saw the aesthetic pouches on my Instagram feed, but after tasting it, I would definitely go back. I got the Honey Milk Tea with Boba and my mom got the Beet You Up Juice. We both enjoyed our drinks and would get them again. In comparison to Sharetea's boba, I actually preferred this milk tea. It was less filling and the 20 oz was just enough to satisfy my cravings. My drink was $3.45 and an additional $0.50 for the boba. I think that price was reasonable. This is one of the best juice bars I've been to. Definitely the best one in the city of Orange! The staff is always very kind and their facility is very clean not to mention their bowls, smoothies and juices are all amazing! This is my go to spot when I come down to visit family I need A little something healthy for my long drive home. There is one thing they could improve on is better quality spoons. The spoons they provide are very flimsy... Making it a little difficult to eat a frozen bowl. Once the bowl starts to thaw a little then you're ok. Serves me right for trying to get bubble tea at juice bar. But to be honest I was really drawn in by the IG, I just couldn't resist the adorable drink bags that reminded me of a big persons Caprisun and the frozen yogurt I gnawed on years ago in Vietnam. Walking in, this place is clearly a juice bar. They have various types of juices and smoothies, different combinations if you want to get fancy or plain juices for the boring like myself. They also have a handful of milk teas with the option of pearls and egg pudding. I got my usual bubble tea order, jasmine milk tea with tapioca and pudding. Only they were out of egg pudding so it was just tapioca, not a huge deal. What I found was strange was that my jasmine milk tea seemed to be lacking the milk component, I would have been just fine if they had marketed it as a jasmine tea. Tapioca was fine, not overcooked or raw in the middle like I've experienced in the past. Now to address the drink pouches. They have 3 different sizes, although some flavors only come in specific sizes. According to their signs, the pouches are reusable up to 4 times. There are some notched holes at the top of the bag meant to hold the straws but aside from the that the holes don't function for much else. The drink is sealed in the pouch by a small ziplock and to get to your drink you just open her up. Again very cute for IG, but not so much when you're on the go. I speak from experience as my husband gracefully spilled half my drink on the way to the car by the swinging it. I am not a huge juice person so I can't really comment on their juices, but I would pass on the milk teas they offer here. A few things to note: - They have an adorable lending library in the back of the store. - Two single stall bathrooms, for both males and females at the back of the store as well. - Currently they have a 50% off coupon with a Yelp check in - a good incentive to try this place out. read more

Pulp is a refreshing drink spot with great fresh juice offerings but there is room for improvement in the service dept. I had the ginger shot, the #7 and #8. All were great! They were fresh pressed and the fruit was amazing. The sweetness was just right and with a little sign of tart. First pt: Cold press juices are expensive. I feel like a lot of the reviews here ding this place because of its pricing on fresh juices but this is the economics of fresh cold press juice. You're not getting some watered down product with artificial flavor. Try this at home and you'll find yourself going through bundles of fruits for a 12 oz drink. That said, I find the pricing fair, especially with the BOGO 50% off yelp promotion. 2nd pt: staffing could be improved. One person is not enough to hold down a joint like this. With a line 3 deep, the person 3rd in queue may be waiting longer than 10 mins, which could be frustrating to them if they're in a hurry. 3: My 4 stars is really 3.5 stars. Pulp is delicious. I will come back. Its expensive but I know that fresh cold press is. The 1.5 stars are for service aspects that could have improvement. Next time I'll try the bowls. Note to management: if not filling to the top because staff is following certain recipe measurements, then switch to smaller cups/pouches because you now have marketing problem. The total came out to a little over $10 dollars with the 50% off check in! The juice was a little sour but it was overall very refreshing! I honestly love Pulp Juice Bar! Such a cute interior and cute drink packaging. They serve fresh juice, smoothies, acai bowls, and even tea with boba! Their drink names are clever as well: beet you up, pear me up, orange you healthy. On top of that, their juice and smoothies are made from real fruits and vegetables so you know what you're drinking is organic and real! My favorite juices so far are pear me up (pear and strawberry) and lean green signature (spinach, pineapple, apple). They were both soo good, refreshing, and not too sweet at all! As for their teas, I am obsessed with their Thai tea! It's super light and not too sweet. I think this is my fav Thai tea of all time lol. Like it low-key looks rundown and old overall, but then they have a few random cutesy elements (for lack of a better term lol), like a carrot pillow on a couch and a little board that says "acai you later." But even those are kind of cheesy, so it's just kind of like a weird environment to be honest. 2/5 SELECTION: They have juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and paninis. 3/5 WHAT I GOT: I got the Coco Bowl, and it was not that great. The acai blend consistency was soupy and it didn't taste that great. It just tasted like they blended an acai puree packet with water. For the toppings, they were okay -- they all tasted fine, but there was barely any granola and too much coconut. The only thing I really appreciated about the bowl was that the banana on top was actually ripe. 2/5 SERVICE: The service was okay. The workers seemed nice. 5 Stars for the juice, 3 stars for the employees. Came here for the first time today after a workout hoping to get a delicious and refreshing smoothie with berries and protein. I ordered the blue monster and was not disappointed - the juice was blended to perfection and tasted of fresh strawberries, blueberries and banana, combined with almond milk and a plant based whey protein. However, I was somewhat disappointed by the service as I had hoped to use the Yelp check-in deal for what I thought was 50% off - but it turns out I had to buy 2 smoothies in order for that to work. In any case, I ended up paying $7 when I hoped to pay $3.50, and didn't get the sense that this was any concern to the employees.
