What is a Dhaba? It is a Roadside restaurant in India or Pakistan that serves Punjabi food. They can be found on highways and also serve as truck-stops, commonly found near gas stations. We had heard about this stop in Fresno and decided to give it a try for carry out food on our way from San Francisco to Los Angeles. We ordered aloo paratha (pan seared bread stuffed with potatoes and spice), mattar paneer (Indian cheese and peas, comes immersed in gravy) and chicken curry. The paratha came with yogurt and this was clearly homemade, thick and flavorful. It had a satin mouthfeel. The paratha was huge, almost 16 inches in diameter, and cost $8 each. This dish had a mild taste and freshness. Both the chicken curry and mattar paneer were different in taste and flavor as compared to run of the mill eateries. The chicken and Indian cheese were fresh. However both dishes had a dilute gravy, and could have been the reason that one kept wanting a more dense body and flavor. Service was very cordial and efficient.

This is NOT restaurant by any means. This is family's love they are sharing by sharing their food. I was passing by Fresno and decided to take to go food from them. I ordered chicken curry, goat curry and mixed paratha. Food was ready within 15 minutes. Unless you how to find them, you'll keep looking for them in the area. They do have sitting inside and also is small grocery store and sweets stall. Once i tasted the food, i was immediately transported 20 years back in memory and reminded of home made curry flavors and i kept eating!! Paratha was super good and size is enough to feed at least two adults!! Go there if you are really curious what homemade indian food should taste or if you are missing home cooking!

In summer of 2016, We were driving from Yosemite towards SFO and we felt like having a road side dhaba food and for our coincidence we found this lovely dhaba with in an hour from Yosemite. Location reminded us of typical Punjabi Dhabas on Indian highways. A thali comes with rice, Roti, dal, curry, raita and salad. Garlic Naan was very fluffy and fresh. Both the curries we ordered were really great, especially Kadhi Both Salt and sweet lassi were delicious! Sorry for the very delayed review

Had very high expectations of this place but not everything that we tried turned out to be great but what definitely was surprising, is the amazing quantity of the food and at such cheap prices. We had lunch out there on the table outside on a Saturday and also took a takeout, the food lasted for the entire weekend. What tasted good - Naan , Aloo Paratha ( must try ) , Daal , salt lassi ( must try ) , salad. What tasted Ok - Shahi Paneer , chicken curry , Sarson da Saag and Makki da roti. Also, there was just one old man running the show out there which led to chaos and delays. Need to have additional staff. Nevertheless, I would still say it was an enjoyable experience and would visit once again whenever in Fresno.

A HIDDEN GEM!!!!! If you are someone who enjoys north Indian food, you need to come here at least once!!!! This place is literally the "Dhaba" (a place where commuters can stop by to eat food and relax). Who has ever seen a Aalu paratha of this size served with freshly churned butter, yogurt and pickles??? That too at such reasonable price!!!! They also make these awesome Indian sweets that were so fresh and took me back to my childhood days really. And ya their freshly squeezed orange juice..... omg! It's a must try! I am truly amazed and may God bless them for being so kind and humble. They are dedicated to provide authentic North Indian food that can seriously make you feel home (India). We stopped here on the way to Yosemite and it was totally worth it!!!!!! Looking forward to visit again.

Had the most amazing desi food ever after a day of adventures and hikes at Sequoia National Park. Aaloo parantha was so big you could share it with four people. Chholey poori was great too. They also had two jumbo packets of maggi, which I was super happy about since maggi isn't available anywhere around here. Every time we cross Fresno we're stopping here.

Homemade Indian food. Large food portions. Ambiance will not be great as it's primarily a take out.

First time at India's Oven in Tower and it was a great experience. The restaurant is very clean,…read morespacious, and perfect for large groups, plus they even have a private dining room. We ordered a variety of dishes (the best way to do Indian food): chicken biryani, lamb korma, chana masala, chili fish, and several flatbreads including garlic naan, rosemary naan, and bhatura. Everything was beautifully plated and full of flavor. The curries were rich and well-balanced with just the right amount of spice, and the flatbreads were fresh and flaky. Standouts were the rosemary naan for its aroma, the chili fish with a sweet-and-sour style sauce, and the chicken biryani rice, which was incredibly flavorful and better than standard white rice. Don't skip the mango lassi--it's like a mango smoothie and perfect after spicy food. We also tried gulab jamun for dessert, which was a great way to finish the meal. Great food, great service, and they also offer hookah. Definitely worth checking out.

The entire restaurant and bar were clean including trash cans wall decor, floors and the bar. Everything was stocked, labels facing forward in order ready for service. Our server at the bar was Melinda. Melinda greeted us and made excellent recommendations to our tastes. Order: Mojito with tequila blanco delicious, bright, a good pour and refreshing! Nimbu Drop: Grey goose vodka, fresh lemon, sweet n sour, house spice, a splash of sprite, and finished with house spiced rum. Timing of receiving order::: Melinda's service was fast and efficient. Will I return or recommend: ABSOLUTELY!! We REGRETTED NOT EATING IN HOUSE THE FOOD SMELLED FREAKING AMAZING!!!
