    Goat curry

Total hole in the wall joint, but it does not get any more authentic. It's not the prettiest, but if you know good Punjabi food you will totally enjoy it and appreciate it. I ordered the goat curry and my brother had the chicken curry. Both with flat bread. The food was full of flavor, affordable and well portioned.

We stopped here on the way from Phoenix to Vegas. It is right off the freeway in Kingman at a truck stop. It is a very small place with a couple of tables. We went after dinner time and the family was eating dinner in there, so we sat at some tables outside. We only tried the chicken curry and rotis but the food was excellent. It tasted like homemade. It was a little spicy for us but worth it because it was flavorful and delicious. From other reviews, I'm sure the other dishes would have been just as good. We'll stop here next time we drive to Vegas.

The food is great! Real Punjabi We ate the goat curry with rice and yellow daal with paneer toast. The drinks were chai and mango lassi. The service was kind and helpful. The ambiance was utterly American with an Indian twist.... When in need of Indian food on I40 near Kingman... This is the spot!!!!

SERVICE - located in a gas station off of the highway next to a truck stop - limited and indoor outdoor seating - good for takeout - food served in takeout containers - good stop along the drive from Vegas to Arizona - food made fresh in the kitchen behind the ordering counter - restrooms available MENU - limited selection of about 10 dishes changes daily - vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options available - well priced ($12 for a medium entree) FOOD - vegetarian selection (8/10): we ordered the yellow dal, potatoes and beans, and mixed vegetable curry with a side of roti and cumin rice. The food tastes like something from home making it a very comforting meal. My favorite was the yellow dal as the lentils had absorbed the warming cumin and mellow garlic with a hint of chili. It paired very well with the rice. I liked the vegetable curry as well with the mixture of carrot, potato, and peas. I would have liked a few more options and perhaps the possibility of a thali (mixed plate) so that I could taste many dishes if I was coming alone. WOULD I COME BACK? If I was driving on this route and in search of good food then yes!

    Menu specials.

Delicious, simple food served piping hot. I stopped here on the way to Las Vegas airport from Monument Valley and was so glad I did. We ordered the rice and chicken curry combo and one aloo paratha and tea. The paratha was my favorite. It came with a generous knob of butter, some sour yogurt and chilly pickle and was really tasty. The chicken wasn't overly greasy though it was a bit spicy. The portions were generous and I left feeling full and happy. They have limited seating options inside and a few seats outside. The service was quick and the place has a homey ambience.

Excellent food. Great location. Owners are very nice and welcoming. Perfect hole in the wall for homemade Indian food. Stop here, you will not be disappointed

Fortunately there is a room with the menus and cash register that's brighter and not quite as gloomy looking. It's still budget dining but pleasant enough. Enough about the ambiance. You're not coming here for that you're coming here for Indian food. Everything was tasty the samosa, the black chickpea on rice that was perfectly spiced, and chili naan, made with little bits of green chili. Unfortunately it didn't have much garlic to go with the greenery, so I was disappointed with that. Wish I'd gotten the garlic naan. No saag paneer but plenty of other choices both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The latter are mostly chicken options, such as tandoori and tikk.i. Service was attentive and friendly. Five stars because this is Kingman Arizona and not New York City. A hot freshly prepared Indian meal really hits the spot after a day of driving I-40, or in my case the Oatman Highway, one of the more treacherous but spectacular alignments of old route 66.

The chicken dishes (you guessed it, Butter…read moreChicken, Tikka Masala Chicken, & Tandoori Chicken) were paired with three vegetable dishes that change daily. Today, it was Alu Matar, Mushroom Matar Masala, & some noodles that I have never seen before. Of course, there was rice and the cook brought out a basket of naan seconds out of tandoor that was perfect. Also, while I got the last two pieces of Tandoori Chicken, it was grilled to perfection with a bit of char, yet quite juicy. The other chicken dishes were delicious. The vegetable dishes were spicy at the level of 3 on a scale of 0-10 and also quite delicious. I asked for water and immediately received a pitcher of cold water, even though it appeared that the cook was the only person servicing lunch. The menu offered a reasonable selection of "a la carte" items as well as the only Indian place in town (there are three) that offers a complete selection of biryanis. Definitely have to try the biryani next time. Attached to the Rodeway Inn, there are ten tables and about 20 chairs scattered in two small rooms. It is lightly decorated with Route 66 memorabilia due to its position on Route 66. Considering the high quality of the food and very small number of selections, the price of $12 for the buffet is quite a bargain. Closed on Mondays.

The malai chicken tikka was rich, creamy, and perfectly cooked, and the hara bhara chicken was so good--packed with flavor and something a little different from the usual. The shahi paneer was indulgent and comforting, and the bhindi masala was cooked just right with great seasoning. And the garlic chili naan? Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect pairing with everything we ordered. Overall, such a great dining experience. Definitely worth trying if you're in Vegas and looking for amazing Indian food!

Parking is easy; there's a little garage on the ground level. Anyways, we were immediately seated as a table of four. We came for an early-ish dinner on a weekday, and there were other diners there, too. Good sign. The inside of the restaurant is okay, though a little dark and tacky with the LED lights. I wouldn't recommend coming here for the ambiance or pictures. If you're here, it's just for the food. We ordered the chicken tikka masala (basic, I know, but it's so good), chicken saag, a lamb curry, garlic naan, and regular naan. The first two came with rice. All medium spicy, which was a pleasant level of heat. The naan comes as four pieces per order. In my opinion, the flavors of all the curry dishes were delicious, but I can't exactly testify to their authenticity (seemed pretty authentic to me!). I wouldn't say it's the best Indian food I've had, though. Indeed, the pieces of chicken were a bit too tough for me. Service was good-to-okay. Our waitress kept walking away mid-conversation, haha. The old Indian man who brought out some of our food was so sweet, though! Overall, Rutba was a satisfying dinner, though I wouldn't say anything stood out to me. But still, I'm glad we got to try it!

One of the worst dining experiences we've had in Vegas…read more We decided to try Mint near Flamingo Road, and honestly, we left wondering how a place can get so many dishes wrong in a single meal. We ordered a huge spread--Paneer Chilli, Paneer Peshwari, Paneer Tikka Masala, Malai Kofta, five garlic butter naans, two tandoori rotis, Kadai Mutton, Tandoori Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Kabab--and almost everything was a disappointment. Paneer Chilli: This was the first red flag. It was super tangy--so sour it overpowered every other flavor. Instead of a balanced Indo‑Chinese dish, it tasted like someone dumped vinegar straight into the pan. Paneer Peshwari: Easily one of the worst dishes of the night. The curry didn't even look like a curry--it looked like oil and water had completely separated, floating in layers. It was unappetizing before we even tasted it, and somehow tasted even worse. Paneer Tikka Masala: This one was shocking. The paneer tasted stale, like it had been sitting around far too long, and the sauce was basically a thin, bland tomato soup pretending to be tikka masala. No richness, no spice, no depth. Malai Kofta: Mushy, oddly sour, and completely off in texture. It didn't resemble the creamy, flavorful dish it's supposed to be. Breads: The garlic butter naan was limp and greasy, and the tandoori rotis were so dry they felt like they'd been forgotten in the oven. Nothing tasted fresh. Kadai Mutton: All heat, no flavor. It felt like someone added chili powder and called it a day. The meat didn't taste seasoned or cooked with care. Tandoori Chicken & Chicken Tikka Kabab: Both were overcooked, dry, and surprisingly flavorless. Tandoori dishes are supposed to be the highlight of any Indian restaurant, but these were just sad. For the price and the reputation this place claims to have, the entire meal felt like a complete letdown. Nothing tasted balanced, nothing tasted fresh, and nothing made us want to return. Based on our experience, this was easily one of the worst meals we've had in Vegas. We brought our guests here and paid freaking $500 for worst food. Zero customer service even after providing feedback. We had Mint previously many times and this was utterly worst experience ever. Never coming back again and spreading same message to my friends and family.
