Went here in the afternoon on a Tuesday so it wasnt busy at all. I got the smallest size to try them out since this is my first time here. I got the Pur Berry base, matcha chia pudding with banana, mango and sweetened coconut flakes. This is our go to place! The best Acai bowls close to home. It is in a shared place together with Nguyen's Kitchen so at first the smell is strong as soon as you walk in but slowly goes away. They offer 3 different bowl sizes which is good for depending on what your appetite is. We recently tried Coco-Lina base and it is the perfect taste! But they offer a variety of bases including Acai, Pitaya, Matcha, Coco-Lina, etc. and unlimited toppings! They don't have a big parking lot but luckily we have always found parking when we get here. Came in on a Thursday morning and was pleasantly helped by William. He was extremely knowledgeable of all the products and flavors that the store had to offer. He was very patient and kind, offering samples at each stage of the bowl building process. I ended up choosing a Large bowl with granola on the bottom, açaí and coco-Lina base (after trying a sample and loving the tropical/pina colada taste), vanilla chia pudding, banana, strawberries and mangoes. And topping it off with agave and chia seeds. It looked like a huge bowl but I was so excited!! One thing I really appreciated was that William asked if I had the Yelp app and mentioned the promotion they were doing where I could get the large bowl for the price of the regular!! Usually stores don't mention the Yelp app and wait for the customer to show their coupon. I liked that they're trying to promote their business and go out of their way to mention this to their customers! We have an açaí bowl rivalry. This is a new Pur Bowls location that opened right next to Blue Bowl Superfoods, which is probably the most popular açaí bowl company in OC. I really like Blue Bowl, but dare I say I might like Pur Bowls even better...?! I ordered the small (12 oz.) for $10 which is plenty enough for one person. Blue Bowl is slightly more expensive at $11 for a small. I enjoyed the simplicity in Purs' menu. Not as many individual options as Blue Bowl but that was ok with me -- I felt like the simpler menu made it a lot easier to order and less overwhelming. I opted for the matcha base, which was delicious! Very creamy and strong matcha flavor. However, I'm not sure how much added sugar they add to their bases and I wish they put their ingredients on their website. All of the toppings were great. You can also check out their menu online to preview all of their toppings if you want to plan ahead. They also do online orders. Service was friendly and server was nice enough to really pile on my small 12 oz! Parking is ok -- they share a small lot with Nguyen's Kitchen so you may have to wait for a spot or park down the street. read more

I love how this place closes after midnight. It is my go-to Acai Bowl spot in the evening. The cost of your bowls are based on the size you choose, not the toppings you get. And they typically pack your bowl to the brim! I love that I can get any (or all) the toppings without worrying about the price tag. Plus they have very unique bowl bases I've never seen at other acai spots - mango, matcha, and much more! I love the original so I always go for acai or pitaya. Pitaya is a bit on the sweet side, while acai is less sweet. The servers always greet me with a smile and you also can sample the bases if you're unsure what to choose! Lastly, there are only a few parking spots in the lot and since they share it with a restaurant, I imagine parking can get packed - although I've never experienced that. read more

I am not familiar with the process but the employee Emily was very kind and went over with me on how to make the bowl. You start by choosing your base and from there you go on to adding other stuff like chia pudding, which they have a wide variety of flavors to choose from. Then you can add granola, fresh fruit, nut butters, and coconut and nuts. The place is nice and clean it has a couple tables and chairs inside so you can sit. They were very busy though and everything here is cut fresh so patience is a virtue. Parking is very limited. Unfortunately it is right next to another really great food spot so keep in mind it gets busy and parking is scarce. I had the island bowl and the dragon bowl both were very good and I can't wait to give this place another try just to taste the rest of them. I think it would've been great if I had gotten it immediately but the drive was about 40 minutes over so it was pretty melted when it arrived. Would love to come and visit and try their green/blue bases. The acai itself wasn't too bad, but I think it could use some sweetener as it was more on the bland side for me personally.
