    Watermelon mint salad
    Jenny H.

I was meeting a friend here to grab something to go to Bryant Park. Since my friend wanted to try here we met here and did a takeout. Upon entry, the place is white and had a summer clean feel; it did give the feel of Miami. The choices were healthy and decided to get the seasonal watermelon mint salad. Everything was prepared fresh and I was able to get my order quickly. When opening the bag, I found the salad and it looked delicious. I have to admit though that I was disappointed by the portion for the price I paid. Overall it tasted delicious. I will selectively visit.

Always fresh, always delicious, always feel great after eating from here. Such clean wholesome ingredients. Kale Caesar chicken salad for the win, a refreshing dragon fruit refresher with coconut water yumm. Service is always great.

Outstanding clean, delicious place to get coffee or breakfast. I had the veggie omelette with sourdough. Delicious! I was surprised but excited about the side of guacamole to make the sourdough avocado toast!!

Thank you for bringing Camilo back to the front, walked in and out with my order in two minutes instead of the nearly half hour the others had made me wait. Thank you!!

There's no better healthy lunch, period. We come to New York on business every other month, and Pura Vida never fails to deliver. The food is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Even when it's delivered, it still looks amazing and tastes just as good as if it came straight from the kitchen.

Swung by after a workout for a later dinner on a weekday. Was greeted by the folks working behind the counter who took my order. It was pretty empty as it was a bit on the later side so plenty of open tables to choose from. It's a well lit, clean spot in line with what you see at their other locations. Good was overall good. I got the chicken bowl and while it was spicier than I expected (didn't realize it was spices at all though to their defense, I'm pretty weak with spice) thought the ingredients and flavors were good.

After you order you wait with a pager

Meh. I am not much a fan. There is a hostess, seating area, a roped area to wait in line, and menus when you enter. While waiting, there are grab to later pay drinks (10.95 price not posted). Expensive lunches- and most items on their menu have a paragraph of preselected healthy ingredients, and at the bottom of the menu- customizable dishes. Salads are featured and options to add protein. I tried their tuna wrap for 20.00. I don't think it's worth the price. The tuna had an off taste and smell, the veggies were slightly on their way out. The wrap fell apart while eating it. The side of pita chips were tasty. The spicy mayo tasted like it's going bad. I liked the green juice, but I've had better elsewhere. I am reluctant to write a review after one visit, I would give them another chance. Just need to save up to eat here. Just baffles me, if my husband and child were with me, lunch cost is over a 100.00 dollars for stand-in-line food, no where to sit because they are busy, and slightly spoiled food. Meh. Also there are stools with people along the walkway to stand around to wait for the order. Ambience is stressful.

I must say when you first walk inside you smell like you're entering a high end Spa. I don't know what they put in the air of the restaurant, but it sure does smell relaxing. I looked it up online and apparently they are a health & wellness place. They sell high quality ingredients so I guess that's why they are on the more pricier side. So, my coworker always raves about this place so I had to check it out eventually. I was just waiting for the most opportune time. They sell smoothies, acai bowls, all day breakfast, sandwiches, salads, bowls, wraps, snacks, and a kids menu. I gor for myself the summer chicken bowl which has antibiotic-free chicken, cilantro, jasmine rice, arugula, avocado, pineapple, sweet bell pepper, carrot, sesame seed, and side of spicy soy ginger. Everything was really fresh and tasty. I just couldn't get over the price, but you get what you pay for.

Food, while a little pricy is very good, but very healthy. Portions are decent. Service is exceptionally friendly. I would come here for that alone. Clean environment and great place for a casual lunch.

Went to Pura Vida for a lunch pickup order. The restaurant is brand new, well lit, clean, nicely decorated, and had plenty of customers enjoying sit down meals. My pickup order was: Toasted Chicken Wrap (antibiotic-free chicken, cilantro rice, avocado smash, sweet bell pepper, melted mozzarella. Served on a whole wheat wrap, served with celery and carrot sticks - 989 cal). This wrap was SO LARGE, that I could only eat one side of the wrap. Each ingredient came together perfectly and is highly recommended. The other item was the Avocado Salmon Bowl (salmon, cilantro jasmine rice, Arugula, roasted corn, avocado, pickled red onion, radish, spiced pumpkin seed, crumbled feta, cilantro, green tahini - 965cal). As you can see, there were A LOT of ingredients in this bowl. It was very filling, fresh, and served in a deep bowl. As much as I appreciated the large servings, two lunch items should not cost $50.00+. Will I return to Pura Vida Miami.....definitely. will it be any time soon.....no.

i stopped by pura vida on a walk around bryant park. it was a really cold day, so i wanted something hot and tried the chai tea, which was honestly exceptional. it had a slight sweetness with cardamom spice and was a good quantity. one downside is that it is a little on the expensive side, i paid eight dollars for the drink. seating is also very limited, especially since this is a very busy area. because it was a cold day, the shop was especially crowded, and it was hard to find two seats next to each other. otherwise, the service was quick, and i got my drink in about 10 minutes. i would definitely come back and am interested in trying the food next time.

    VEGGIE OMELETTE

Delicious and healthy breakfast/lunch options in a beautiful, brightly lit space. Although they were packed, food came out fast and service was very friendly. I got the veggie omelette and a latte. They only have vanilla for latte flavors which was a bummer so I got it sweetened with agave and it was fine. The omelette came with sourdough bread, guac, and a small salad. It was really good and the perfect amount! I also tried their matcha pistachio cookie which was decent. I would definitely come back to try other breakfast options.

The kitchen and its staff - superb!
    Maria C.

The food here is incredibly fresh and wholesome, and I really appreciate the healthy options. The staff truly stand out--they're some of the kindest and most attentive people I've encountered, which makes a big difference. The overall vibe is relaxed and welcoming, which adds to the experience. That said, I gave 3 stars instead of 5 due to the winter indoor temperature. With delivery traffic constantly opening the door, the space gets uncomfortably cold. Unfortunately, this made my meal and coffee go cold quickly, and I found myself freezing throughout. It would really help if they could install an outer enclosure or vestibule to help keep the warmth in. I genuinely want this place to thrive--hence this review. Just hoping a little tweak can make an already great spot even better!

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.
