We stopped at Bluestone on before our bus ride to leave New York. The cappuccino and Milo were super amazing. My eggs were not poached hard as requested, I didn't quite enjoy my Big Brekkie, but my husband enjoyed the Avocado smash. Our waiter was attentive, although it seemed the waiters work together. i.e we placed our order but another waiter stopped by to check if we have placed our order or needed anything. Whether to-go, need to grab a quick bite or family breakfast, definitely an option to check out. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Bathroom requires a code. If in the area next time, will check out the avocado smash, it seemed like their best seller. read more

I like this Australian spot a lot and have ordered a couple times now: burrito w/o bacon, toasts, tomato soup, desserts. Have gotten a few different juices as well but drink wise, the spirulina smoothie I got in late December stands out as the taste is so unique and rich. This time around the lox toast needed seasoning/more dill + portion was extra tiny for $15. The lamingtons are filled with 2 thin layers of jam. So incredible and brought me back to one of my favorite Bosnian desserts (cupavice). read more

I had no idea it came with a literal scoop of vanilla ice cream which is my fault for not asking. Not only did I get the caffeine kick I wanted but the sugar rush as well. Prices could be better (close to $20 even for breakfast). We got the breakfast croissant - this had some sauce but it was still dry. The croissant was pretty big though, don't think I would get it again. We also got a burrito - the breakfast burrito with egg whites and enjoyed it. The croissant came with some some potato wedges and the burrito came with a salad. I would come back to try the lunch dishes. There is seating inside and outside. read more

The staff was kind and made sure everything was neatly packed to-go, which I appreciated with the weather and the upcoming bus ride. * Soft Chili Scramble w/ Avocado ($16.75) Good? Yes. Worth nearly $17? Debatable. The portion was tiny -- like, blink and it's gone -- but it was flavorful and comforting. The avocado was also perfect. I'll give it a 4/5. * Strawberry Matcha Cloud ($7.25) Super cute. It leaned much more strawberry than matcha, and I could barely taste the matcha at all. It looked prettier than what it tasted. My all time favorite Bluestone Lane location! The space here is grand and it's used nicely, in the front is casual seating and then the dining area is very spacious towards the back of the restaurant. Ordering here is seamless either on the app or in person, and the staff is not only extremely attentive but very gracious. The coffee is some of the best you will have in New York especially considering this is an Australian inspired chain, having been to Australia myself, this is an amazing New York alternative especially when you want some Aussie Lattes or brekkie options! I love how many food options are offered and there is always either something new or rotating. My only complaint is that the Australian iced coffee served with a scoop of ice cream is not a regular menu option anymore!! The restaurant is also very clean and well light, so you can work on your computer or just meet friends its extremely multi functional. A relatively new addition to the Bluestone west side empire. I am a fan of BSL and this is a great location in Hudson Yards, convenient to the Equinox Hotel as well as the Javits Center a block away. It is in a new Hudson Yards office building and has high ceilings and huge windows, where lots of light pours in giving the space a light and airy feel. It is a great place to meet someone for lunch or coffee. I came in for lunch and had the spicy chicken wrap with potato wedges and a cold brew. All very good, maybe a little on the pricey side, but still a solid lunch. And the coffee was very good, too. read more

I really like this place. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the price. There is a really good selection of brunch food and drinks with calorie counts, if that's something that matters to you. It's in Hudson Yards near the Vessel so the surrounding area is immaculate, and the inside of the cafe is spacious, sunlit, and chic. It's good for both dining in with friends and for getting work done alone - a simultaneous restaurant and cafe! I ordered a matcha latte which honestly didn't taste as good as it looked....... but the dish I ordered was really good and performed well on the nutrition/macro scale. The door is beyond heavy for a average person to pull. Had to had strong arms to be able to either push or pull that door. If it weren't for someone who was chilling with a group,I wouldn't had been able to open that door. We had a slightly whiney 5 year old and our server immediately got her settled in with hot chocolate, coloring, and then Fairy toast! Can't recommend this more!
