The flavors would blow your mind. Nothing was overly sweet or too terribly strong! Her customer service was bar none and I cannot reccomend you all go see her enough! The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS. From the first bite to the last you can tell everything is made from scratch with the upmost attention and love. It was just "okay". When we first got there, we saw there was a long line for the putting and in the back where there were more games, there were no attendants. Upon arrival it's a little confusing on how things work. Although we came for the games, we ultimately wasn't sure how everything worked and there was already a line. So we just sat to eat instead. Food was ok. We had the cheese and chorizo empanadas (nothing memorable)), some friend tamale (not memorable) and the OG Burger and the Boa sliders (pretty good). We also had 3 alcohol beverages (too much ice/hardly any alcohol to consume ) which turned out to be a little under $102 for 3. I think it's a cool concept. The golf is fun. Expensive but what isn't. Having never been to a Puttshack we were treated well coming in. Slightly confusing but the ladies that helped us were terrific. We set up a 9 hole round, drinks and dining for hour plus later. We had no idea that 9 holes for two people took about 15 minutes. ($28) We played second round with drinks and asked for a table early. They were not busy Saturday at lunch time so there was no problem. The fun stopped right here. The menu is very small but I don't mind that. Interesting offerings but limited availability. Seriously if you menu is limited have all the item. We ordered poutine, Margherita flat bread with the recommended prosciutto add on and empanadas. They were out of empanadas. Ok. Just the pizza and poutine. The pizza arrived drenched in balsamic reduction sauce and as the food runner dropped it on the table he said we are out of prosciutto, and ran away. WTF? It was just ok. The poutine was total garbage. Soggy fries covered in salty gravy and a tough rubber disc of mozzarella cheese topped with a pile of feta. Nasty. When we mentioned the missing ingredient and the unprofessional way it was delivered, the server just stammered and said she would take off the extra charge for the prosciutto. I was planning an employee outing at the location in Oak Brook, IL location......I guess it will be Top Golf instead. I'll make sure the IL Puttshack location knows why they lost a party. read more

First time at Puttshack, went for food before an 8 pm performance. From out of town and wasn't familiar with downtown eateries. Was really impressed with the different vibe of place! The mini golf looked like a terrific way to play! The server was prompt, food service was prompt ( it was all fresh and a great fusion of taste). We had the chicken sandwich on ciabatta, lamb skewers and Spinach, artichoke and crab dip. The lamb was fall apart good, the crab dip was really good with no smelly crab but rather a subtle taste and creamy smoothness! We were looking for something to do on a cold day. Since it's downtown, had to pay for parking (paid $10 on a Sunday for a nearby garage). I was trying to find out how many courses there were and the website was not clear at all. When we make an online reservation, it automatically puts you on Emerald. We made a second reservation on-site and had to speak with someone to change it to Amber. Seems like this could be better streamlined? We made a third reservation on-site and changed it to one of the courses in the back and the two in the back are identical in the front. We were trying to order some drinks and the bartenders were awful (it was NOT busy in there, but they acted like they were slammed). I would say you can take your kids here, but is not ideal. We did not eat here. We did like the virtual part of it keeping track of who was up/scores/etc. Needless to say, one time was more than enough. read more

Staff isn't all that friendly, err, they make you check in with a robot and needs a staffs assistance to understand. I visited here on the 16th on my birthday. All in all I had a good time the course was fun the food was good and the service was pretty good. I had even planned to visit again, but I changed my mind when I looked at my bank account on Monday and there's this extra $65 charge on my card for no reason. This was a fun date night for not a ton of money, honestly. Here are the quick takeaways and what led to my rating: WHERE IT SHINES (AWESOME) - The concept, technology, and creative hold designs are amazing. - The registration process is easy and worth it to do ahead of time. - The food was NOT bad, but also nothing mind blowing. Recommend the Poutine. - Valet available right next door (just have to leave by 10) NEEDS IMPROVEMENT - Checking in was confusing. When you get in you can either walk up three flights of stairs or take the elevator. When you get to the top, you need to check in on the iPads at the front, and then make your way to the course listed with your reservation when you check in. Sapphire and Ruby are all the way in the back and the other 2 are at the front. This seems straight forward but was not immediately clear upon arriving. - When we sat down to eat, it was pretty uncomfortable temperature wise and seating wise. It was humid with almost no air flow - we sat in the dining area by the bar in the back left of the venue - not out in the open. There are a few sets of two chairs and a small table and the best way to describe them is super awkward in height. I'm 5'2" and hubby is 6'1" and it was too short for both of us somehow? Idk, but it was. No comfortable at all. - There are SO many workers just standing around doing nothing. I assume they are there to help of course with directions and reservations and such, but when we sat down for dinner, we had 2 different waiters come to our table to take our order. Also the cooks delivered our food? Not necessarily bad just...different and unorganized it seemed. - The logistics of the course. They mix huge parties with large parties instead of just designating each course for groups of a certain size. So my husband and I were behind a group of about 12 and had to skip around and wait forever for certain holes (longest wait time was like 10-15 minutes.) Would I go back? Yes. In the summer, during the day, when it's not crowded. The place seems to fill in around 8-9 p.m. on weekends. read more

Check in staff act like they were confused, she act like she didn't want to help.. poor service.. It was really small compared to other sections and my ball kept malfunctioning. So a third of my time I spent looking for the assistant who was either busy or nowhere to be found. This place is not family friendly, they say it is but it's not fun for kids, it's overpriced and just a bad place. And even without that information the place has horrible management. I also talked to someone who worked here. They are dirty people, they say they offer benefits but the stipulation is you have to have worked here for 90 days with 30hr a week. BUT THEY CUT EVERYONE'S HOURS TO UNDER 20 "RANDOMLY". To be honest you spend $14 per person game fora 20 minute or less play time and then you get to spend $20 on a burger :) Bad place, mediocre food. read more
