So this my first time to take my dog there. I have to say I was a little bummed. I asked for a certain cut for my dog because she sheds like no other and it's convenient to cut her short through out. One of the groomers tries to convince me of another cut. I understand the style of cut he is telling me because yes it does look cute on my type of dog but because she sheds a lot and her hair grows out fast I wanted it short through out. Well when I picked her up it ended up being like how the groomer wanted not the customer. It was cut short but not throughout and not as short as I was trying to tell him. She looked cute but just dissatisfied that it wasn't what I asked for. With that being said I'd be willing to give them a second chance next time. read more

This was my first time taking my Yorkie here. I just moved and my old place is way too far. My doggy was done in an hour and a half with a great hair cut! He is always scared and shaking when I take him to get groomed but when I picked him up he was calm and happy. Prices are also reasonable. Keep up the good work! Will come back here again. read more

Highly recommend! I have been to many groomers and Q d Doggie is the best in south orange county that I have found. They do not keep your dog locked up in a cage all day, they keep to appointment times and call you as soon as your dog is finished. I have a small poodle and I love the fact they use a harness on her and not a choking collar around her neck when they are grooming. Also very reasonable prices. read more

Easy to make appt. Showed up fifteen minutes before my appointment , and my dog was taken right away. She went in with ease with the groomer. This made me feel comfortable. Ok Yelpers Must Read I am as picky as it gets when it comes to my dogs. I have had bad luck with groomers over the years, we thought we had a good one, then she up and moves away on us. So I went to yelp for help. Q.d doggie had 5 stars so I gave them a shot. They are NOW my NEW GROOMER, they did an amazing job on my two schnz. When I dropped them off at 8 am I told the new groomers that both dogs had major matts and not to worry about them just shave the dogs pretty short, the groomer said she would do what she could with them. I made sure she knew that it was very important that my dogs were not stressed out during the process. She assured me that they would not be stressed. They called me at 10;30 am and told me the dogs were ready to be picked up. I love that they do not keep the dogs all day. When I got there the dogs were happy as ever and both looked amazing. They looked better than they EVER had. I promise! They were clean smelled good and felt good, our ride home was pleasant, before when leaving a groomer the dogs would hang there heads and seems sad or upset, not today I picked up two happy very well groomed boys. I will be back and I will recommend everyone to use this groomer. There are not many out there like them. I just can not say enough. You have to give them a chance and you will not be disappointed. read more

I was very impressed with QD Doggie groomers. My Havanese is a rescue dog that is fearful and can snap. The owners were so nice when I explained my concerns. They handled her gently and with such kindness, and didn't have any issues during the grooming. Plus she looked just gorgeous when they finished with her. Brought my grandmothers two dogs hear after reading all the positive reviews. I wasn't disappointed. A reasonable price and great work. One of the dogs is extremely shy and skittish but the lady there handle her vary well. I showed up without an appointment on Saturday at 9:00am and was able to leave the dogs there while I ran errands. They contacted me about an hour later to come pick them up. If I could rate this business with zero stars I would. I took my dogs here to get their nails cut. One of my dogs is afraid of getting her nails cut but will let them do it and my other doesn't have a problem with it at all. Once I got here, they were extremely aggressive with my dogs and cutting their nails. Both of my dogs cried loudly and the entire time, which I thought was maybe them just scared of the people. Once I paid I noticed how incredibly short their nails were. They looked butchered and were cut back more than half way. Some of their nails were no longer shaped like a nail and just looked like a nub. They hit the quick in almost every nail and I feel like the worst dog Mom for taking them here to be tortured. read more

He used to always come back exhausted from battling the groomer but somehow Maria speaks his language and says that he's never tried to bite her or be feisty! And that's saying a lot because our dog won't even let me touch his butt or paws. He used to bite his groomers all the time. And honestly, she's given him the best cuts he's ever had.
