    Burrito

    I was just in and order a to go burrito. I'm a typical Qdoba guy, I prefer it over the other competitors. However, recently it has been a struggle with their quality. Today my burrito had a bug in it, which makes me question the sanitation of the location. I've rarely had problems but there seems to be more reoccurring ones. Hopefully this is just a one time thing

    Be careful with kids here. Small girl got finger stuck in Qdoba chairs - Fire Department had to come cut her out w/ tools.

    Bowl half filled with mush. Chunks of un-blended avocado/guacamole and soggy rice and beans drowning in a pool of queso. Nasty.

    This used to be our go-to, safe bet "fast food" spot but things have sadly gone way downhill over the past year or so. Food is sub-par (check out user photos!) and employees are rude and completely clueless. I see that a CSR has responded to all of the negative reviews but honestly, what's the point? Obviously nothing has improved.

    Have ate here a number of times with my oldest daughter and have never been not satisfied. Staff is friendly and gets you just what you want (I usually have the Bowl with Carne Asada). Place has always been clean and have never wished I didn't eat here. Not bad for Fast Mexican!

    Brown slimy lettuce

    This restaurant literally served me moldy garbage! I ordered through Grubhub. I took a bite in a dark room and immediately knew something was wrong by the horrible taste and smell. I turned on the light and there was hairy white mold on top of my taco salad. My boyfriend pulled open his burrito and his lettuce and guacamole was slimy and brown. I immediately called the restaurant and talked to the manager, Carolina. She was adamant that everything is completely fresh and made to order. She kept emphasizing that the were incredibly busy. I told her I didn't know what else to tell her because my food clearly has mold on it. The only explanation I can think of is that an employee grabbed something that looked similar enough to my order out of the garbage in an attempt to cut corners. It's worth mentioning that a lot of the ingredients were different from what we ordered, though that hardly matters when your food is literally rotten! I've never experienced anything like this and I hope I don't again. Absolutely disgusting!!

After waiting more than 30 minutes, we still hadn't received any food or drinks, while customers who ordered after us were already being served. We checked on our order twice because our children were hungry and there seemed to be no progress. We were told there were computer system issues, which we understood, so we continued to wait. Eventually, after more than half an hour with nothing received, we requested a refund. While the restaurant refunded the food charges, they did not refund the tip. That was unacceptable. Not only was our time wasted, but we were essentially charged for service we never received. What made the situation worse was the lack of customer service. The manager's response felt dismissive, and there was no genuine apology or effort to make things right. A brief "sorry about that" at the end came across as an afterthought rather than sincere concern. It's now nearly a week later, and I still have not received a refund for the tip. Person in charge said they cannot refund my tip from the store but it must be corporate. Wrote a little note on my receipt, put it in the drawer and said they will submit a request. I left feeling completely ripped off and unvalued as a customer. The impression I got was that because this location is in Bridgeport and likely has plenty of business, losing a customer simply didn't matter. Mistakes happen, especially during busy periods. What matters is how they're handled. Unfortunately, this experience was handled poorly.
