I ordered my food over the phone and the person was extremely friendly. They were still really nice when I came to pick up the food, too. I ordered the P1 which is like a combination pho. The look of it surprised me because I'm used to seeing the ingredients packaged separately and with more toppings, but overall, it still tasted good. The broth was slightly saltier and seeing all the meat already in it was different for me but if anything, it made the pho even better. I was confused when the girl asked if I wanted any sauces but when I came home, I then understood that it wasn't already placed in the togo box. Good thing my home is stocked with literally everything Southeast Asians use to cook with! The banh xeo was crispy and delicious and a little more on the greasy side but I liked it. The sauce was made well. The cha gio didn't quite make the journey home but I'd definitely recommend them. Also, my iced Vietnamese coffee was nice but had a different taste than what you'd expect, and I think that was possibly due to them using a French vanilla creamer or something? I havent written a review in a while, but because this place is new and delicious, it deserves to have more business. My usual pho place in Marina is Pho Lucky, but we decided to give QQ Noodle a try since it's new... at least the menu is. Everything in the restaurant looks like same as Pho fusion except for the menu. The entire menu was revamped to be more authentic vietnamese food, including dishes that many people arent familiar with such as banh xeo ( vietnamese crepe), bo tai chanh (beef carpaccio with lemon juice). As soon as i saw those items i was immediately impressed and already wanting to come back. I had to stick to the tried and true of most vietnamese restaurants to really compare this new restaurant- the pho. I got pho tai chin ( rare beef and flank steak). The broth was very flavorful with lots of depth. The flank steak meat wasnt exactly flank steak or what i had ordered.. but to be fair i ordered it off menu and it was the nam meat (more fatty pieces). I would still order it again. The small bowl truly is small, and also small portion of noodles to go with it. Its smaller than other restaurants I've been to. I would probably order a large next time. My husband ordered the vietnamese udon. It came with chicken or beef and lots of veggies. I've never seen vietnamese udon before, so that was new to me... and I'm vietnamese. The broth wasnt thick as the menu suggests but it still tasted flavorful. We also ordered the shrimp spring rolls which came out quickly. Everything in the spring rolls tasted really fresh and crisp. The peanut hoisin sauce was tasty, not too salty, not too thick. Boba selection was good and cost $4 for a large drink with boba. Our staples are taro milk tea and honeydew. Overall, our experience was a really good one. Quick service, good food, good boba! We will def be back to try more of the menu items! read more

Wow I think Vietnamese food has become one of my favorites. This restaurant is excellent! Their jasmine milk tea with boba, chicken and egg sandwich and fresh spring rolls were all so tasty. Was hoping I could taste a little more tea with the boba drink (4.5/5) but the fluffy texture and sweetness was perfect. The sandwich and spring rolls were appetizing as well (4.5/5). Went back and ordered pho, egg rolls rolled in rice paper and lemongrass beef. Waitress was so sweet. Beef was a little oily for my taste though had good flavor (4/5) and rolls were good (3.5/5) and pho was excellent (5/5) Prices were super affordable too. Highly recommend! read more

I've been a customer here since they've opened. I personally think a lot of there items here are amazing. I've ordered so much food for so long, they answered the phone automatically knowing who I was and by first name. I specifically dealt with a nice young lady with glasses majority of the time and would tip her specifically very well bc of the good food but mostly for the service she provided. She loved us so much she would always give us a free boba drink or two just because. One day during lunch I ordered spring rolls and I had to call back about 5 minutes later bc I wasn't going to make it on time to pick it up as an emergency came up at work. The next day I called to place an order and said I will definitely be there on time and all is well. The same woman whom I've always had pleasant encounters with states that they will not place my order bc of my cancellation yesterday and they had to throw away all kinds of food and it was a waste of their time. I said I completely understand where you're coming from, but as long as I've been a customer, tipping you very well and was honest and called you back to let you know I would not be available to pick up my order on time versus not calling them and leaving them to figure out why, I'm being treated this way? I ordered spring rolls that always take them less than 10 minutes to make. I told her that's a bit much and thank you for the information. This was the mid last year, fall time. Ever since then, when I call that same little girl will specifically hang up on me to where I was even outside the business today and SEEN HER WITH MY OWN EYES HANGING UP THE PHONE on me. I called back private a few minutes later and she lied to me saying she didn't know who I was and she just took an order over the phone for someone else. I said honey, I just saw you through your windows hanging up the 4 times I just called. You know exactly who this is. So thank you guys for this. Thank you for treating Marina folks this way. Unlike San Jose, Marina doesn't have that many Vietnamese restaurants nor boba shops. This place has both. We come here when we visit our kid at CSUMB. It's a good place to go for pho and other Vietnamese dishes that she misses from home. I like their Banh Xeo. It is like a Vietnamese crepe or pancake filled with bean sprouts and shrimp. QQ Noodle grand opening was 11-11-2018. I had returned to Marina on the 10th, the night before expecting to eat at PHO FUSIAN, and was Shocked to see Fusian had sold to QQ. All the furniture and decor remain the same as Fusian had it. QQ is going with old school traditional menu, and it is working. I finally stopped mourning the loss of Fusian and gave a visit to QQ, finding it full of diners about an hour before closing. Wow! I ordered pho bun bo hue, one of my phave pho's. The broth was bland, the bun slightly over-cooked, and the pieces of tendon were Jurassic Park size. Hard time using the elegant black chopsticks to pick up these tendons. I won the battle, but... Never be the last customer of the night syndrome? I dunno... Chatted with the young waiter who seemed new to the job, and wished them success. I added that Noodle Bar only 2 blocks away cut into Fusian's business, so QQ needs to stay on top of their game in this location. FOUR STARS they slipped up on me this time. read more

Wow this place is a hidden gem is pretty new in the business. Let me tell you is going to do great if they keep up with their great service and great tasting food. My family of 5 went in there on a Friday night didn't have a wait and we got sat really quick and order our drinks and got them right away. We got the Fried Calamari and 4 Eggrolls as our appetizer and they where !! So for my entree I got Steak Noodles pretty much chow mein but it was Delicious!! And Delightful! I even got two more Eggrolls because I wanted to have it with my Noodles. We where satisfy with our service and food we will definitely be back for more because I'm already Craving it read more

Solely a review about the banh mi, which was delicious!! I ordered the chicken lemongrass sandwich to go and it was still hot, fresh and substantial enough to be satisfied as my lunch. Melon slush with boba was melted by the time I got there but that didn't matter because it was still tasty and the sandwich was amazing so I didn't even care that it was melted.
