Food is alright... But service is awful, the woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude and even HUNG UP ON ME. Then proceeded to walk away from me while I was trying to pay. Ridiculous. If you want to run a good business, don't have people like her talking to people. Seriously. I highly doubt I'll be supporting this place anymore. So sad to see a yummy place go to the trash because of their workers. But food has also declined. Also they don't give you utensils to eat your take out food. Came in for the same thing I always come in for which is the Wonton soup. This time it was more like cabbage soup with all the fill they placed I wish I would've just stuck with Noodle Bar or Chopstix. Seems like this place is going down hill. From extra charges for less ice or the bare minimum. 1 sauce per entree. As their signs indicate there are no refunds if an order as been prepared. Definitely won't be recommending this place any longer. They don't accept Apple Pay but will accept Venmo or Zelle. There's an extra charge to use your credit card if it's less than $15. Walking in, it's unclear if you check-in at a register counter off to one side of the restaurant. I decided to do that. As I waited in line, other people who came in after I did discovered there was a sign-in sheet in their waiting area. It was awkward to convey to the staff I was here first. There is definitely an unrealized opportunity to assist customer traffic and avoid confusion. In these crazy days, it's not uncommon to get surprised by a huge bill at the end of your what supposed to be a "casual" night out. You most likely end up paying $25-$30 per person unless you go to a fast food restaurant. This wasn't a case for QQ noodle, and I will continue to be their fan until I leave this area. Food price here is very reasonable, and it makes you question if other restaurants are overcharging you for mediocre food. Yet, QQ Noodle's food has always been great. I tried their Bahn mi, pho, fried shrimp, and veggie pho here, and none of the menus was disappointing. All staff is well trained and doing their best to give you the best experience from order to payment. If you are in the area, consider yourself lucky and check this place out. Ordered Chicken Pho, Beef Pho, and some fried rolls. Tasted fine and I was thinking I'd eat here again, but an hour or so later felt the effects of MSG in the soup broth. Headache, dry mouth, tiredness, that lasted for a several hours. Uggghh.... never coming back. Not many places use MSG anymore. So the chef a noodle bar marina opened up his own restaurant, and I'm a fan! Same quality and taste like noodle bar, a little bit better in my opinion. Location is kind of hidden if you're not looking for it, but it's across the street from the Ramada or next to el rancho. Delicious Pho Broth. They give you a big portion of Tendon but I prefer my Tendon softer. Egg rolls were good Water is not good tastes weird. Excellent service. Second time here. Serve was still excellent and our food came out quickly. I asked for my Pork Chow mein to be made spicy and it was not, at all. The Pork was a little dry and tuff. The atmosphere was calm, not too many diners in for a Sunday night. I think it's a little hard to get to, so it probably doesn't get too busy. Was curious about the crispy tofu so ordered that along with the vietnamese udon, combo egg rolls and a Hokkaido milk tea with boba. I didn't really care for the milk tea. It was pretty bland in flavor. The crispy tofu was like normal fried tofu. Wish it was a bit more crispy and cut into smaller pieces. The vietnamese udon had very thick broth, almost gelatinous. It had very mild flavoring so I didn't slurp it down, but I did love that it kept my udon noodles hot! The noodles were thick and tasted nice with the broth slathered on them. There were no vegetables, just my beef, onions, scallions, cilantro and plenty of noodles so the other yelper must have gotten the wrong item given to them. read more

One large order of BBq Chicken over Fried Rice and one large order of Chicken Chow Mein. $16.00 out the door. Both dishes exceeded expectations. What can you say, noodles are noodles and chicken is chicken but both of the meals leaned heavy on the chicken portion. The total weight of the two containers was noteworthy. Lots of food. If their intention is to cut into Noodle Bars action down the street they may succeed. I LOVE this place. I've been craving Vietnamese food for a few weeks now but haven't been able to see my mom since November because of the latest Shelter in Place ordinance. I'm not exaggerating when I say the bun bo hue (spicy lemongrass noodle soup) made me straight up cry. Granted, I'm a super sentimental food-oriented person BUT the food is A+ in my book. This will be my go-to spot here in Marina for the foreseeable future. I ordered my food over the phone and the person was extremely friendly. They were still really nice when I came to pick up the food, too. I ordered the P1 which is like a combination pho. The look of it surprised me because I'm used to seeing the ingredients packaged separately and with more toppings, but overall, it still tasted good. The broth was slightly saltier and seeing all the meat already in it was different for me but if anything, it made the pho even better. I was confused when the girl asked if I wanted any sauces but when I came home, I then understood that it wasn't already placed in the togo box. Good thing my home is stocked with literally everything Southeast Asians use to cook with! The banh xeo was crispy and delicious and a little more on the greasy side but I liked it. The sauce was made well. The cha gio didn't quite make the journey home but I'd definitely recommend them.
