My friend and I were craving some Boba after having dinner next door at L&L Hawaiian BBQ. They are located in Northgate in the same shopping center as the old Blockbuster and the newer Taco Bell. The inside was spacious and clean with cool artwork on the walls. There was even a gaming system for people who wanted to enjoy their beverages and hang out. They also had a pretty big menu with lots of different drink options, I think they even offered dessert as well. We ordered a Watermelon Juice with Rainbow Jelly and a Honeydew Juice with Pineapple Jelly. Both drinks were good, but my friend said her Honeydew Juice was too sweet - I really enjoyed the Rainbow Jelly as I am a texture kind of girl. Not sure if I would come back to this location, but staff was very sweet and the drinks were only a short wait. A nice Quickly location in the this small shopping center. Menu was typical like every quickly we've been. We got the taro slush and mango smoothie. Drinks came out quick and tasted pretty average. This location was bright and clean. Several tables around but no bathroom. What we did like were retro gaming console available to play and fun art. I've passed by this place often but never actually went in....but today was our day to venture in and it was awesome. A Greta Gem here in South Natomas. They have a variety of teas, juices and coffee as well as great bites to eat. We ordered a regular strawberry smoothie for my little lady and another of crisscut fries to share(Side note no photo of the fires we gobbled those up..hahaha) but they were pipping hot and delish! This is one of the cutest Quickly locations ever with their choice of decor and there are lots of places to sit. They even have a little gaming system for guests to use when they come in. The staff is hit and miss, because I've had really great experiences and some not-so-great. If this were more consistent, I think I'd be able to give them five stars. I do wish they had a better menu system for those not wanting caffeine, because trying to figure that out was a hot mess. However, I ended up getting the Brown Sugar Latte and added coconut. It's been years but I decided to give this place another shot due to the new management. We still live across the street so this spot makes it very convenient for us. I ordered a taro milk tea and a Thai tea. The drinks were made very quickly which I appreciated. I enjoyed my taro drink but my girlfriend thought that it lacked flavor and tasted watered down. I tried it and she was right. She ended up going back inside to try to get a refund (she didn't want to come back here but I did because I don't like having to drive out somewhere farther just to get boba). Newest location to me and it's in the same plaza as to where I get my nails done at. I really like the spaciousness of this location. It's very open, but then again it's a lot bigger than other quickly locations. To the left there are wooden booths and to the right tables. When you walk in you'll see photos of what they offer to the right and on the left wall they have a blown up menu option for the blind, like myself. You'll also notice that there are menus on each table. That's a plus for me. What I wanted to order was a tiger milk tea with egg pudding but they did not have the egg pudding. I opted for grass jelly, but they were out of that as well. So I chose a large tiger milk tea, 25 percent sweet, large boba and extra ice. The design and material of the cup could use an upgrade. I feel like with all of these new locations of boba establishments and the way they design their cups, it's something to mention now in my reviews. But the material reminds me of those plastic red cups you buy for beer pong. The drink taste a lot sweeter than 25 percent. But it wasn't bad.
