Wow! Really impressed with the food at this unassuming stop along PCH. I had the Pork Belly Bahn Mi which was AMAZING. My hubby had the Wow Me Burger which was also fantastic and we ordered the Bamba Bowl for our son off the kids menu -which he loved. Everything tasted perfect. Outstanding food - I got Saltado fries bowl and my Mom got the burger. I loved the variety of the menu and their philosophy on clean ingredients/gluten-free. I've been a big fan of Rabano since they opened, however, unfortunately, that would end soon on me. Recently they started making lot of mistakes whenever I used mobile orders. For instance, they put white rice instead of grain rice that I wanted, spicy souse always came with my orders even though I always made the change not to include it, finally, white rice was too watery from today's order.. (6/8 2018) I had so much expectation and recommended my friends before. Today, my friend came from other country and I wanted her to try "my favorite restaurant" by hoping that we must have the "good one" this time not the "recent bad ones" but my luck was not there. It was so disappointing that my friend and me could not even finish eating but this time made me decide not to come back to this restaurant anymore. Oh... my.. goodness! This place is AMAZING! Their Pork Cubano super bowl has the most delicious flavor. It was almost this citrus, salsa, with the pickled onions!! Ohhhhh my goodness I don't think I'll ever forget how delicious this was!!! Wonderfully executed. I messed up along the way asking for veggies and somehow not ordering pork? They have you order at a kiosk first instead of with people but I guess if you specialize it then there's more room for error. The place was small and crowded the public seating was fine we didn't wait too long since people just eat and leave. A little pricey for what it is and not enough seating but I can afford to go every once in a while. :-) Tried the Bohemian Rhapsody soda which I thought was OK but not great. My daughter likes the coconut white tea Boba but she said the first time it was really good in the second time was just OK. My favorite thing so far is the La Bamba bowl with steak. I found Rabano when looking for a new, healthy, local spot to eat and it did not disappoint! I got the La Bamba bowl for lunch and I already want to go back and get another one for dinner. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the the ancient grains, corn, pico, and black beans were all so flavorful and complimented each other perfectly. This is a cute place on the corner of Artesia and PCH. They have really fast service (you can order via their tablets, which I found super easy to do except when figuring out where to swipe my credit card). But in any case, the service is great and friendly! I ordered a couple different things because I'm a glutton and can't resist. Out of the four things I ordered (Rabano Fries, Edamame Wontons, El Koreano, Jasmine Milk Tea), I think my favorite were the Edamame Wontons and the Jasmine Milk tea! Would definitely be back for an order of those. When I'm back next time, I'd like to try either the Pork Belly Banh Mi or the Lechon Cubano (looks delicious!). read more

It took a while for this place to be ready for business but it turn out to be a very good place; I had the Thai chicken bowl, the chicken was so tender and juicy, it came with grilled vegetables and ancient grains (a combination of quinoa and rice) and the curry sauce over it was so delicious! It really sucks when you loved the food but the customer service is terrible. This is the reason why I started not going in store anymore and just ordered through DoorDash instead. I always wanted to stay far away from the rude employees there. Tonight I ordered my food through door dash like usual and when it got here I received the wrong items. This isn't the first time though! I have a very strict diet where I can't eat a lot of things so this place I always felt good to eat. My food came with the wrong items, what was worse was that not even DoorDash can get another reorder because they were already closed for ordering. This left me stuck with nothing to eat for the night. I had to run to the grocery store and make something at home. I can't go out and just pick another restaurant because most of the stuff that was is open late is all fast food and again my restrictions on food are very strict. Trust me I wish I can go to Taco Bell and order a simple burrito but my body doesn't function that way. I was left with no refund, no food and just full of disappointment. I can't even rely on the staff to give the proper order to the dasher. What I received I can't eat at all. Not only did it have dairy but it had other items I am highly allergic to like coconut and beats. You would think that the stuff would pay much more attention to someone with allergies and I even mentioned it in the chat. I am really disappointed and have to find somewhere else to go from now on. read more

My 2nd time here in 2 weeks and I must say this place is really good. I've had the cubano with pulled pork, the Korean steak and the pork belly binh mi. All 3 are great. Bowls come with rice, greens or mixed. The chicken taco is also good. It's great for kids with everything on the side. Just tried this place for the first time and we were very impressed! I had the la bamba bowl and the gooder smoothie and I couldn't finish them I got so full. But both are delicious. My boyfriend got the matcha boba and the thai chicken bowl which was also delicious. Owner stopped by multiple times to make sure we were enjoying which is always impressive. The reason for the two stars is not the food but for the bad attitude and service. Came back on 7/15. We came in at 8:30 the employee RUDELY stated that I only had 20 minutes to dine in. They close at 9 and take forever make the food - so the employees need to understand that they will most likely not be leaving at 9 on the dot. It took about 15 minutes to get our order ( again one plate out then another long wait for the second plate). As we sat and watched, the place was getting packed and there were nonstop to go orders. The employees need to understand that they cannot be giving such a horrendous attitude just because its close to closing time. Most people are understanding of it being near closing as long as you aren't rude about it. What was even more annoying was the fact that one employee started cleaning and mopping the floor. She was doing so while customers were coming in to order and the food runners were trying to get by. Instead of mopping, try helping with the orders. Not only that but you could smell the strong scent of whatever the cleaning solution was on the mop all over the restaurant. Once again- you need to better train your employees. read more

Ordering was a bit confusing at first, since there's a counter as well as iPads. You have the option to dine-in or get your food to-go. Like I said, not much standing room, so you're always in the way when you're waiting for your to-go food. The staff was very friendly. There wasn't a clear pick up method, as the employees weren't calling out orders to be picked up. My order was ready in about 20 minutes. I got the Cucumber Coolness to drink. It was very delicious and refreshing - would highly recommend this on a hot day. I was glad to see a good amount of vegan options - I got the Tofubello sandwich. It was good, the sauce and bread were great, but the tofu could have been crispier, in my opinion. Overall, I would recommend this place. It's modern, and relatively fast.
