The place looks amazing and has a real bistro in an Italian suburb feel. The waitstaff is nice and professional. The decor is looking upscale. They even had live music this evening. The food menu had good options and on the higher side of the price range. I had the chicken parm. The wife had some kind of pasta I can't spell. She loved it. One of her favorites. I ordered a filet mignon with grilled veggies. The steak was cooked just the way I liked it. Pink on the inside, tender without blood coming out, medium well done! Steak was juicy, meaty, less fat, and crispy on the outside. Grilled veggies were so fresh, delicious with smoky taste. My hubby and I came here a couple of years ago and we remember the pizza being good. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of ordering the filet Mignon which didn't look like filets at all. They looked more like thick pork chops soaked in olive oil. The sourdough bread and garlic butter was delicious though and the service was good. Hadn't eaten here in a few years do we were shocked at the bill at the end of dinner! My wife and I split the halibut dinner ($40) which was good but did not include a side salad. Two side salads added almost $30 to the tab. Glass of Chardonnay $20 - glass of house red (smallest glass I've ever seen) $16. We left that evening shelling out $98 (tip included). First off the service was great. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation and were seated promptly. Our server greeted us promptly and took our drink order that was delivered shortly after. My wife order the Caprese salad and I had the Caesar salad. Both were very good. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and I ordered the Roasted chicken pasta dish. When we received our entrees my wife's dish had oddly shaped bits of chicken(she didn't order the chicken) and was lacking the Parmesan cheese. My entree didn't have the bacon or pickled fennel and was a bit soupy. The manager did come over and we let her know how we felt about our entrees and she offered us dessert. Come there every summer. Got a DYI gluten free pizza with onions, mushrooms and white sauce. Pretty sure the gluten free chocolate cake was from Safeway freezer section but good. Salads are ok. My mom loved her angel hair pasta with Alfredo sauce and mushrooms. My brother also got a pizza that was one of the specials. My step dad got the calamari and said the sauce was really good and a pork pasta that was good. Love sitting outside. The service was great, not sure if it was the manager but he was professional and good. Were there for Restaurant Week. I got the Smoked Salmon Linguine and my husband shared the spaghetti with us. Man! The spaghetti was amazing. Best my husband has had he states. We had the Arancini which was very good, pork belly bites as well for apps. The only downside was the temperature of a couple of the dishes, but maybe this is nitpicking. Nothing compared to the spaghetti. Get it! Nice that they have family style portions as well. read more

My husband and I went to Radicci's for an early dinner Saturday afternoon around 3:00 to beat the dinner rush. There were only three other tables with customers and one family was leaving. We were seated at an exceptionally small table next to a wall. I asked to be moved to a larger table. I saw the only vacant table for four and asked to be seated there. The waiter was extremely rude and told me my time at that table was limited to 1 and 1/2 hours because it was by the fireplace. I did not care about the fireplace because the outdoor temps were in the 60's. I thought I was being considerate not taking a larger table. I was very upset by the waiters rudeness and I left the restaurant. We left and had a much better meal at Tomato Street. I will never eat at Radicci's again and I will pass on my experience to everyone I know. read more

Decided to give Radicci's a try. I'm East Coast Italian and this was the best Italian food I've had my our 16-years living in the area. We will most definitely be returning to try other menu items. As you can see, our Caesar salad was massive, even for 2 to share. After 3-servings each, we gave up, to save room for the delicious entrees of Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Marsala. Our entrees were both plentiful and delectable. The chicken was tender and the sauces were well seasoned. They really rivaled Italian dishes I grew up loving. Nobody's going home hungry! I was craving a good cannoli from my childhood and that was the only part of the meal that didn't measure up. I will say, I worked 6-years at an Italian restaurant & bakery growing up, so my standards are pretty high. The cannoli's filling was oozing out of both ends and just too runny. The lemon ricotta cake more than made up for the lacking cannoli, so I'm still giving this newly found culinary haven 5-stars! read more

My wife and I saw this charming looking place long ago, but never made it there to eat. Unfortunately, the first time I tried it she was out of the country. I didn't mean to try it without her. My son and I were looking for good Italian and some place we hadn't been before. I searched up Italian in the CDA area and it came up with Radicci. We chose that among all the others because the picture looked the best. When we arrived, I said, "Oh, it's the charming place mom and I have wanted to try!" It's charming inside and out, and we had a delicious meal. Good wine, for me, not the twelve year old, great Italian soda for him. Had the recommended chicken parmesan with penne pasta. So good! Tender, juicy and a great sauce and cheese. Son had pasta dish with veggies that he loved. Always great when the kid likes the veggies. The Full Caesar salad is HUGE! We shared and still had to take some home. Also had the calamari which didn't stand out among others, but it was good enough. All in all, it was a super delicious food and our server was outstanding! Checked in often, but not annoyingly often. She automatically took the salad when the food came saying she'd box it up and brought back promptly. She was really kind and efficient. Wish I got her name so I could mention here. The meal was pricey, but huge servings. Made another meal of it the next day. With the ambiance and service, it's worth it. We all got their panhandle pizzas because we enjoy pizzas with a lot of different meats on them. Bacon, ham, pepperoni, and caramelized onions I think, so good . The portions were good especially the flatbread with marina sauce adn the grilled vegetables. The bread and butter was decent as well. Before we sat down, the manager approached and said the owners had told management not to allow us to dine here....unless we were willing to retract our previous review. Way to go.....throw gasoline on the fire!! How about this scenario....seat us, give us stellar service and a good meal. Very good! We took the little ones for dinner and it worked well for all of us. Their chicken picata is delicious and we also shared a flat bread which was very good as well. The staff were friendly but not over the top anticipation. Our reservation was early enough in the evening that I would have expected if you have a special, you have enough to get you through at least 8pm. They ran out by 630. Disappointing. We were offered bread and butter but everyone else received oil and vinegar. Would have been nice to know it was available. My 2nd choice meal was just okay. The hubby had chicken parm with I think butter noodles. He felt it was dry and could have used more sauce. We will most likely give it another go but we won't drive an hour to go again. The restaurant is clean and quaint and likely the best feature of our visit. We can't give the same praise as others for the food flavors. Radicci's has a nice ambiance with a comforting fireplace and great decor. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of throughout our meal. My husband and I ordered a side salad which was very large and fresh. We were served bread but not offered any more with our entree. I had an RC Cola and my husband had an organic chocolate stout beer because they didn't have the variety that he really wanted. For our entree, we ordered the family size Alfredo with chicken. We thought we would have enough for another meal at home but it wasn't enough for that. At $38 for the Alfredo and $14 for the chicken, we thought we would receive a bigger portion. It was very tasty. To summarize, if cost is not an issue, I would recommend Radicci's but if you are on a budget, I would go elsewhere. read more

We went here last week for the first time and I'm happy to review it was a good choice! The place was very busy and even though we didn't have reservations the host was very accommodating. Our service was also really good, offering a good suggestion on a bottle of wine and checking in on us without being too much. Our food arrived hot, and in a timely manner. We ordered the Rustic Pork and the Chicken Parmesan with a side of meatballs. All were great choices, the Parmesan was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Rustic Pork had great flavors and just the right amount of spice. Now, about the meatballs, I'm Italian and make my grandmas meatball recipe which are the best things ever, however the meatballs here are very very good! We came in at 2:10pm expecting to get the lunch specials that ended at 2:30pm after waiting about 5-6 minutes to be greeted the hostess said they had shut down the lunch specials early. Our waitress explained the cooks were doing a "changer over". Which means "to bad for the customer, (insert shoulder shrug here). Their web site and printed menus say "Lunch Specials Served Tues-Fri from 11am - 2:30pm" 2 stars for apparently not caring about the customer. 3 stars for the food.
