So this is my second time checking out a Rainforest Cafe. We had a party of eight and two were younger kids experiencing the cafe for the first time. This is definitely on the to-do list when visiting Vegas with kids. It's a pretty cool experience and quite magical for younger children. We went in the morning at around 10 AM for brunch and we were seated immediately. I decided to try the Chilaquiles and the strawberry lemonade, which were okay overall. And the light up cup is a souvenir cup that you can take home!! The service was also okay. I think when coming into Rainforest Cafe, it's really more about the forest animal experience rather than the food so just something to keep in mind. Oh and also it was someone's birthday in our party. The servers brought out a really cool 4 tier cake with ice cream and a candle on top and sung happy birthday. It was so nice! read more

My cousin and I wanted to take his wife to Rainforest Café since she has never been before, and it was such a nostalgic part of our 90's upbringing. I loved the local one as a kid, so we had to check out the Vegas Rainforest Café to see if it still holds up. It was a little bit hard to find, facing the strip in Planet Hollywood but we eventually found it. We had such a great time, even as adults without any children in our party. The ambiance still totally hits, with all the jungle sounds, animals, and mood lighting. We were also pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was. Their drink promotion with the souvenir cups is such a great idea and we all ended up with a Macaw take-home glasses. Our server, Dom, was very helpful and let us know that we could pick whatever glass we wanted and switch the drink in it. Love the ambiance because of the jungle theme. A little dark but it was ok. The booth was spacious. Of all the food we ordered the nachos was my favorite. That was what I imagined a nacho would be like. The salad was good too but not the best but good enough. The pasta dish was like jambalaya except instead of rice it was noodles. It was a little bit spicy but good enough. They came to our table and took picture of us. $30 for one picture with picture frame or two for $50 or you can just buy the picture for $10 each. Family and friends visiting in town. We went to a rainforest cafe based on a concert that some of the visitors were going to see "5 seconds of summer" aka 5 sauce at PH. It took so long to get our waitress we had to ask somebody to go fetch her. Fun place but not as lush as it was when it was at the MGM. The menu is great for visitors with a free glass to take home with you and refills for 10 bucks each that all pack a punch. I went with the bbq burger with fries that was not great but solid. Once our entrees were served by some kitchen staff, the waitress did not come back at that time to make sure everything was OK and if we needed anything else. Two of the five of us were already ready for a refill and it took about 10 - 15 minutes before she showed back up... Ultimately loss to the restaurant for alcohol sales because we would've had a third round if there was someone refilling drinks. We had a birthday celebration with the staff singing happy birthday. A step down from the old space but still a fun little spot. Once you finish, they give you a receipt and you go downstairs to get your actual to go glasses brand new without residue of alcohol or wetness. They officially are just outside of the miracle mile, but you can park in the miracle mile parking lot to get there just fine. And of course, if you have young ones, they will love everything that's going on. If it wasn't for the ambience, I would've given three out of five for the big gaps in service. read more

First time at the Vegas location. We had reservation for 9 and it all went well especially for a Saturday night. We arrived early and they were able to seat us earlier. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was good. Little weak on the volcano yell but it was a Father's Day celebration and not a birthday like the new set up of the volcano but still miss the real sparklers but obviously get that they need to be cautious. The food portions are still big and filling. Some of the animals are looking worn out. We had fun and the only down side is the parking it's sort of crazy to try to find the locator walking Through the mall then back outside and up the elevator back in a door and then to the restaurant area. We stopped here to give the kids the real Rainforest Cafe experience. With all the Cafe's near us closed we found our vegas trip to be the perfect opportunity to take the kids. Listen, you come here for the experience- the food is good, not spectacular, not bad by any means. The decor, ambiance and occasional thunderstorm are what make Rainforest Cafe the fun it is. I ordered the Bimini Chicken Sandwich, which I found really enjoyable although I wouldn't be mad at more Hot Honey on the sandwich. As for service, our server Danger Dom was great, he was attentive, clear and didn't miss any of our needs. He delivered fantastic service. When it came time for the bill the manager came and explained the automatic gratuity, which I appreciated because I'm sure a lot of out-of-towners could be surprised by it. For clarity, parties of 8 or more will have an 18% gratuity added to their bill. No big deal for us and perfectly reasonable. the dining room and restrooms were clean, food was good, service was excellent. If you have small children/toddlers I would give them a heads up of the "thunderstorms" that feature darkened lights, bright flashes and sounds of thunder and animals that could be surprising for them. read more

This was our first time visiting Rainforest Cafe, and we weren't sure what to expect. Overall, the experience started off great. The hostess and the greeter outside were both friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. Unfortunately, our server completely changed what could have been a 5-star experience into a 3-star one. After we were seated, our server took our drink order and gave us our menus. From that point on, she was practically nonexistent. We had just walked in from the 100-degree Las Vegas heat and finished our drinks within the first five minutes because we were so thirsty. Even though she walked past our table several times while checking on other guests, she never once stopped to see if we needed refills or if everything was okay. When our food arrived, she again never came back to check on us. I even tried to get her attention because I wanted to ask for some sauce, but after waiting what felt like forever, I eventually gave up and just ate my meal without it. Once we were finished eating, she finally returned with the check. She didn't ask how the meal was, if we needed anything else, or even say a word she simply placed the check on the table and walked away. I don't want to publicly call out her name because everyone can have an off day, but this was honestly the worst service I've experienced in Las Vegas, especially in a city that's known for its hospitality. We came for Easter Monday dinner with my family and in-laws after a day of walking around the strip, Circus Circus (for the games and midway), NY NY, and the Excalibur. During our multiple excursions, I had mentioned to my wife and kids on Easter night that there was a Rainforest Cafe nearby. My older ones were too young to remember the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney (which has since been closed for many years), so this was a treat for them. So, when I wasn't paying attention, she booked a reservation. She quickly hurried us up at the Excalibur to get back to our car at NY NY when she told us about our reservation. We made it to the restaurant with about 30 minutes to spare, so we did some shopping at their gift shop. There were animatronic figures downstairs and when we moved upstairs to the seating area, there were even more. It was great when the "sky" turned dark and the thunder clapped and the animals all came to life! My little one was amazed. We got seated, all 8 of us, and our "guide," Safari Steve, told me that with our large party there was an automatic 18% gratuity which I had no choice but to agree to. Steve, however, was just excellent! I forgot about the gratuity and just focused on his recommendations and interactions with my kids and family. It was close to closing time but he had the same enthusiasm as if it were opening. I asked if tonight was a slow night and he emphatically said that "every night is a busy night..." Our drinks got served quickly and we ordered the Awesome Appetizer Adventure appetizer sampler. The day's activities must've taken a toll because the whole platter was demolished in about 10 minutes, which was enough to get us settled (my little one was getting hangry (just like his mom, shhhhh)) until our main entrees arrived. My wife ordered the Chile Lime Salmon and Shrimp which, by both our account and Steve's, was their best dish. It really was good and I will order this next time. I got the Taste of the Islands which came with two types of shrimp, tilapia, rice and veggies. It was a good second choice, but the Salmon was better. I debated between it and the pork chops. Luckily, my father-in-law ordered the chops, so I got to sample it. It was good and flavorful, but a little dry. Even Steve warned me that chops tend to get dry, no matter who cooks it. My mother-in-law and stepdaughter both got the fish and chips. The portions were huge so both couldn't finish their plates. In retrospect, they would've gotten something else. (My mother-in-law really wanted the ribs, so guess she should've gone with her gut (pun intended)...). My oldest boy got the club sandwich which Steve thought might be too big for him. But, being the competitive 12 year old that he is, he devoured it (was this reverse psychology???). My other boys got the cheeseburger, delish as he said, and the fettuccine Alfredo (my middle son said he wanted 3 more plates it was that good!), respectively. It was a night of fun, good food, good company, family and a wonderful server/guide named Steve. Sure, it's Vegas and you're going to spend no matter what. We came here on Father's Day and we had a great experience! My parents have been wanting to take our 3 year old son to Rainforest cafe for a while so we decided that going last Sunday would be the best time to take him. We were immediately greeted by the friendly host who saw our son super excited to see all of the animals come to life. He immediately seated us near the elephants which our son loved so much. He was a little taken aback when the thunderstorm occurred but still enjoyed it. Our server was Ronnee and she was nice and attentive. She always came to our table frequently to check on us and fill our glasses. Our food came out hot and delicious. I do agree with the other yelp reviews that although the food is good... our intention was more for the experience since it was our son's first time here. One of the downfalls about the location of the restaurant (which it isn't the restaurant's fault) is that this place is on the second floor and confusing to get to. It's quite a walk from the parking garage at miracle mile shops, which parking is free for the first hour and then you're charged after that. When we walked through the mall and stepped outside to the strip, we found out the escalators to the restaurant were closed off and out of service. There was no access to an elevator either. My parents have bad knees so we had to find out how to get up to the second floor. It was not ADA friendly at all. Thankfully, we came across a very nice security guard who let us use the service elevator for my parents to get to the second floor with ease. Overall, we had a great time at Rainforest cafe. This was my first time at rainforest cafe and I gotta say it was a pretty pleasant experience. There were animatronics scattered all throughout the restaurant and they were lowkey a bit creepy looking, but it was still cool to see. Every now and then the lights dim and flash and they make rainstorm noises which i thought was pretty entertaining. I ordered a steak and it was actually very good, was tender and juicy. My friend had shrimp pasta and he said it was the best shrimp pasta he's ever had. Take it with a grain of salt though cuz he rarely ever leaves the house. I really enjoyed eating at this Rainforest Café. The last Rainforest Café I ate at was the one in Disney World's Animal Kingdom. After my family and I visited the Arte Museum, my daughter saw the Rainforest Café in a shopping plaza across the street from the Aria. We were hungry for dinner and decided to go eat at the Rainforest Café, a few days before New Years Eve! The Rainforest Café is located in the Harmon Retail Center. It's right near Bubba Gump Shrimp and Cocolini. When my family and I asked if there was any availability for four, the team member at the front mentioned a 40 minute wait for a table. At first we were going to not go due to the wait, but we decided to put our name on the list and look at the stores nearby. I provided my cell phone for text messaging. We first decided to explore the gift shop inside the Rainforest. The atmosphere inside the retail village included themed merchandise and souvenirs. We ended up purchasing a few small toys while waiting. Luckily, after only 10 minutes, we received a text message stating that our table was ready! We were pleasantly surprised! The table seating is upstairs. It felt like you were transported into a tropical rainforest environment. There was verdant jungle foliage to animatronic animals with periodic simulated thunderstorms. It felt like an adventure dining here. There are unique features such as Tracy the Talking Tree, Nile the Crocodile, and more! We had a seat in the middle of the restaurant which was amazing since we were able to view the entire environment. The restaurant is beautiful! Looking over the menu, the menu had a lot of options from pastas, burgers, seafood, steaks, and salads. There are signature items like the Rasta Pasta which includes coconut shrimp. There is also a bar area on the first floor, the Lava Lounge, where you can enjoy themed cocktails. My husband and I split the Fajitas. I really enjoyed the chicken. It was tender, juicy, and flavorful. There was a side of rice, beans, and all of the ingredients needed to make an amazing wrap! The beef was just okay. It was a little tough. It was a perfect meal to split though! My daughter liked the Kids Sirloin steak, but there wasn't much to the meal. Luckily we had the appetizer that had chicken strips and other items that came out with the entrée! The Wisconsin cheddar cheese curds were my favorite. My mom enjoyed the Turkey club. After the entrees, the Sparkling Volcano sounded like a lot of fun and we decided to order that for dessert, sharing it! The chocolate brownie and chocolate cake was huge! There was a decoration that looked like sparklers in the middle of the cake! It was perfect to split with four members as there was two scoops of ice cream, two scoops of whipped cream, and the cake! I have fond memories of Rainforest Cafe when I was younger. However, I don't remember what food I liked here. I wanted to take the kids so after searching around for it, I found it on the second floor outside of Planet Hollywood. The bottom floor is a gift shop with jungle merchandise to buy but as usual overpriced. We were seating immediately in a round banquet table which was kind of awkward and tight to sit in. The menu had all kinds of food so I really did not know which food they are good at. I was tempted to get fajitas but as this is not a Mexican restaurant, I decided against it. I didn't want something big and the Bimini chicken looked good so I ordered the sandwich instead of the plate. My husband ordered the shrimp sampler and liked the coconut shrimp the best. The kids enjoyed their kids meals. The fruit was banana and orange. My kids don't like the texture of banana so I'm not sure why that was served. My Bimini sandwich was just a fried chicken sandwich, nothing island or exotic about it. The animals are great to look at and they move slightly. There is a storm every so often with lightening. Overall, it did not have the appeal as it once did. Also the menu needs to be smaller so they can focus on good food. read more

Came here for dinner before heading to a hockey game. The restaurant is in a little mall. You checkin and then proceed inside and go upstairs to the main dining room. We try to visit a Rainforest Cafe if a city has one as the family enjoys the show and food. It was quite busy on this day but we were able to snag a table. The inside is your typical Rainforest with trees and animals adorning the ceiling and walls. Our server Oscar was great; really friendly. I had the Beef Fajitas and it was very tasty. There was a good portion of beef. My wife got the Pastalaya (her usual) and it was great too. My daughter got the Chicken Taco Salad. This dish was huge; probably could have shared with someone. But it was delicious. Rounding it out was my son getting the Python Pasta Chicken. The chicken was tender and the noodles were cooked just right but, he did comment that there could have been more sauce. Came to celebrate my mom's birthday. She wore the cute explorer hat & they gave us a cupcake treat! Ate the Adventure appetizer platter plus the St. Louis style ribs. Definitely worth the price & felt very full! I didn't love the chicken tenders with the honey mustard sauce (too sweet, maybe a buffalo one would be better), but enjoyed everything else. I came here over the weekend with some friends, and we had a reservation for a group of 7. We were about 15 minutes late to our reserved time, but they were able to seat us right away. Food is okay, but enjoyable. I don't think anyone expects Rainforest cafe to serve outstanding food. The only and major complaint I have is the timing of service. Our order was taken very late, at least 10-20 minutes after we were seated. And the restaurant wasn't too busy in our specific seating area. Afterwards, it took even longer for us to receive our food as a group of 7, where a majority of us only ordered burgers. The service was poor and the chicken Caesar salad my wife ordered made her vomit. 0/5 stars would not recommend. I guess if you like elephant and jungle noises this is the place for you, but if you don't want the driest chicken breast known to mankind literally anywhere else on the Las Vegas strip probably has you covered. I think this experiment has finally failed at least in Vegas, because the concept needs to die with the 90's. I thought it was going to be a fun vibe like it was when I was a kid but the ambiance was depressing honestly. This is a place you bring ignorant kids for their birthday who don't know any better. As an adult you're going to suffer through eating here, lol. It's not a good value either. The only fun thing was the photo which they try and up sell you a $20 print from an initial "free keychain." Landry's has turned an immersive and unique experience into depressing capitalism that gives you heartburn and upchuck. Case in point: the fake vines and various crap they have hanging from the ceiling are littered with dust both upstairs and downstairs. The decor was fun but was hoping for more animatronic animals. They have "rain and thunder" like every 30 minutes so younger kids may be a little scared. Overall, the service was good. I've been coordinating a large cheerleading team dinner for the night before our competition, and Randy and Brittany Becton have been nothing short of incredible throughout the entire planning process. They have been unbelievably accommodating, kind, and patient handling what feels like a thousand phone calls and emails from me with professionalism and genuine warmth every single time. They are incredibly easy to get a hold of, quick to respond both by phone and email, and have made what could have been a stressful planning experience feel effortless. Their communication, attention to detail, and willingness to help truly exceed guest expectations. On top of that, the Rainforest Cafe aesthetic alone is such an exciting experience for our team, and we are beyond excited for this trip. If this level of care and service is any indication of what's to come, I already know this will be an unforgettable experience for our cheerleaders. It doesn't taste completely fresh, but the vibe is most definitely there. So if you're looking for something for toddlers hand for kids this is the spot. Came here for a birthday with a larger group and had a really great experience. We were seated outside, which was a nice, more relaxed vibe. Our server, Dean, was super attentive and handled our group so well - everything came out smoothly and he made sure we were taken care of the whole time. We ordered the taco salad, crispy bruschetta chicken, and the appetizer platter - all were solid. Overall, a fun, easy spot for a group celebration with great service. Would come back! read more

I went here today with my family. Two kids meals and 3 adult meals with an appetizer was about $170. However it was the worst food I've eaten in a long long time. I had a small bite of everyone's meal and honestly the only decent thing was the chicken fingers. We got steak, salmon and the beef sandwich dip with au jus and none of it was tasty. Of course the restaurant is super cute and the kids loved the atmosphere, however overall it was not great. Our server was nice but also kind of impatient which made us feel awkward. So the place being cute is about the only thing it has going for it. I'd suggest if you want to take the kids, have the adults eat beforehand and maybe share a small appetizer. read more

Came here for dinner. They were all full except the 8pm time slot, which was very late for dinner, but it's fine. Our server was amazing! Attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. I hadn't been to a Rainforest Cafe since the one in Downtown Disney in Anaheim closed. It was a fun experience to be back and feel as if you're in a jungle plus the various (fake) animals surrounding you with the sound effects. Ordered blackened fish tacos, seafood trio platter, and coconut shrimp and salmon plate for a family style dinner. It was delicious! They have their coconut shrimp down IMO. Food came out quick. We had a very big party. The waitress was very friendly and had good service. Order the bacon cheeseburger. Cooked perfectly. Topped with fresh ingredients. Nice and crispy fries. Everyone else loved their food. read more
