Quick and easy access. Order inside or drive thru. Signs are everywhere for east access and there's plenty of parking for those who decide to go inside. 10/10. Everywhere is short of employees and doing their best to please their customers so please sympathize for them while the demand is high. Seems as though the person filling my order can't count to four...I only had three pieces in my combo. The three piece meal actually had three pieces, so there's clearly a problem counting past three. Given this...I can only give Raising Cane's 3 stars. Today at approximately 6:45pm my sister went to this establishment to pick up some dinner and went through the drive through. As she was in the drive through, the young woman at the window was attempting to speak to her and my sister was not yet close enough to the window and decided to pull forward. As she was pulling forward, another young woman was not paying attention to her surroundings and started walking in front of her car. At which point she almost struck her with her car. Normally, this would not be an issue and I'm sure both parties would go on about their days but the young woman said to the other young woman at the window "She almost hit me" my sister then apologized and the young woman did not reply, scoffed, rolled her eyes and was extremely rude. If you are working in a drive through walking around, you should be paying attention to your surroundings and not blame someone else for your negligence. Absolutely unacceptable. I'm very disappointed in the lack of customer service specifically from a team member by the name of "Mimi." I get it's late (at around 12:10am) and maybe that's not a shift you want to be working, but if your customer service is going to be affected by such an hour, you don't need to be working that shift or there for the matter. I've had a long day of travel to visit a dying family member, so the last thing I wanted to be dealing with is poor customer service. I was very polite ordering my food, you didn't bother asking what drinks I wanted for the combos. Very dull and rude tone over the speaker. Lastly I was cut off during my order, assuming Mimi thought I was finished. Stopped here late night on a long drive home from the bay area. I had heard mixed reviews about this place so I thought I'd try it myself. The food was ok, it wasn't terrible considering it's fast food. Unfortunately, it was the end of the night around 11 PM and they were out of coleslaw, so I didn't get to try that..I knew about the Butter on Both Sides bread (bob) (your welcome), so they gave me double bread to make up for the missing coleslaw, kudos for that.. The employees were Very friendly, kind and accommodating. I chose to sit inside because it was still hot outside, but the fans at full speed were a little bit much blowing napkins and your ears off .. I wrote this for school as a sensory description essay. It's about me receiving canes free for a year after I was the first customer and I feel it perfectly encapsulates my feelings towards canes. I got a 98 on the paper and I really want Todd to see this(; In the grasp of my hand I can hold something that provides me with so much joy. With just one swipe I fill all of my needs. All the urges I get, all the pain I'm in, all conquered by this card. The cure to my hunger every week lies in this card. With just the simple words of "can I order a box combo please" my wish is their command. The feeling I get when I hear my name is unimaginable. I walk up to the counter knowing I'm about to indulge in a meal that provides me with such a sense of comfort and relief. My heart racing as I walk up to the counter trying to keep my cool. I grab the bag and head back to my table. I take the cardboard box out of the plastic bag and set it down at the table. As soon as I uncover the box I'm greeted with an aroma that is so delicious, smelling the freshly prepared chicken paired with crispy crinkle cut fries and two slices of white bread toasted on both sides and covered with butter. I take a second to admire this beauty of a food combo. My mind can't decide what to eat first. I'm so deprived of the beloved Cane's sauce that I have to go there first. I uncap the sauce from the plastic cups. My mouth starts watering. I've waited all week for this moment. I grab a singular french fry and dunk it in the sauce. I slowly move it towards my mouth in great anticipation. I take that first bite and I'm overcome with an explosion of flavors. The savory, sweet, tangy, light pink sauce with dark specs is truly amazing, paired with the soft inside filling of the french fry. Any other thoughts that are in my head are overcome by the sensation I get from the taste of canes sauce. My mind is racing. I'm addicted. I need more. My mind moves to the fried chicken. I need to try that next. I pick a chicken finger up, still warm and greasy, as if it had just come out of the fryer. I drench the chicken in the sauce and take a huge bite. My mind is taken elsewhere. I have to close my eyes to really take it in. The pairing of the chicken and sauce is life changing. My taste buds are in overdrive. I can't think of going back for more, ignoring my thoughts to take it slow and enjoy the moment. I start devouring the chicken and Cane's sauce. I start changing my eating patterns. I alternate from eating chicken fingers to fries. I'm no longer taking in any new information. My mind is craving this food. Over and over again I'm just taking a chicken finger or a few fries and covering it in Cane's sauce, and over and over again I get the same feeling. I've eaten all of the chicken and fries in no time. I've saved the toast for last. The toast is still fresh. I've eaten the other items so fast that it's still warm. I bite into the toast, and I get an immediate buttery savory goodness with a gooey dough in the middle. I've slowed down my eating. I'm no longer starving as I once was. I take my time to enjoy the toast, as I wash everything down with their trademark lemonade. I've been satisfied, and I know I can depend on this meal every week. A little backstory: About 7 or 8 years ago I tried Raising Canes for the first time in Vegas. Maybe this place is actually the bees knees. Maybe I should give them another chance. (Wrong.) October 15th, 2022: I walk into this establishment wide-eyed and hopeful. I was actually impressed by the decor. The gentleman who took my order was SO NICE!! So far, so good (even though he did not give me lemonade like I asked, but it's okay I settled for sweet tea instead). I sat down with my friend and a few minutes later his order gets called. Weird. I definitely placed my order before him and we got the same thing? Whatever. Let it go. A few more minutes go by and multiple orders are being called, baskets just flying out the window... but none of them mine. Still okay. I go up to the counter to inquire. I go up to the previously nice gentleman and say, "I was wondering where my order is. My friend got his and he ordered after me." Homeboy goes, "Oh, that's right. He did..." AND THEN HE WALKS AWAY. Hello??? He comes back, says nothing to me and proceeds to keep taking orders for the new patrons walking in. Now im just standing there awkwardly. I have no idea what to do. Im texting my friend who is sitting at the booth just a few feet away. Finally I just go sit down. I was unsure of what to do and I didnt want to stand there any longer. My friend who hasn't started eating yet (because we're polite like that) offers me some fries. It was bland, but it gave me enough strength to walk back up to the counter. So now there's this other girl who is calling out orders. I walk up to her and ask about my order. She goes to the window, pulls out a basket and says, "Azel?" I'm like, "yes." Hands me the basket. I'm giving her a blank stare and then I say, "what happened?" She replies, "It was in the back." So then I ask, "Did ya'll forget my order?" And she replies. "No. It was in the back." I stared blankly for a few seconds longer and then finally... walked... away.... Ya'll when I say it took EVERYTHING in me to not go full KAREN on these people. Like WHAT. Honestly, I wasn't looking for compensation, or an accommodation for my wait. Nothing. I would've been cool if they had just acknowledged their mistake. But these fools straight LIED TO MY FACE. Not once did any form of an, "I'm sorry." come out of anyone's mouths. Like... they just wanted me to think that my order was sitting back there?? Would it have just continued to sit back there if I hadn't gone up to ask about it... TWICE??? ugh. Be fuckin fr. And then to top it all off, the chicken was BLAND. There is seriously nothing special about this chain. You truly can have a 5 year old cook you better chicken from their easy bake deep fryer. This location usually takes an absurd amount of time to get cars through the drive thru, so I wasn't surprised. The woman who took our order was nice, but lacking social ques a bit. The girl at the window was not very friendly, but she WAS fast so I'll give her that. I did not appreciate being handed drinks that had sticky soda and lemonade all down the sides of the cup and on the lid. Our order was correct and nothing was missing!! This like never happens! My first visit to Canes today. I was a little reluctant due to the reviews but I was meeting others there and I didn't want to miss our get together. The place was packed. To me, that's a good sign. My friends got a table outside which was nice. I got my food in reasonable time considering how busy they were. I enjoyed the chicken & fries. The bread was kind of overkill on the carbs but delicious nonetheless. I wish I would have gotten a meal with the coleslaw so I could have tried it, good reason for me to go back.
