I have been overcharged on sale items several times and have to ask to have it corrected. Sea Food not always kept fresh, have had to throw out seafood on occasion. Needs better management. Store itself is layed out very nicely, and produce is usually quite good, although expensive if not on sale. read more

Had a horrible time. waited 30 minutes for a sandwich, which the clerk made wrong and was rude and unpleasant. i bought over $30 just in deli food yet the woman continued to seem upset that i needed hot food, a salad, and a sandwich. Also, Tried to get a dessert from the bakery. two clerks just kept ignoring me and hiding behind the walls when i called them. looked right at me. I Never plan on shopping here again. I was in the Napa Raley's attempting to redeem a Rewards offer that I had not been able to redeem on my prior visit. I was getting frustrated and went to Customer Service for help. Joseph came right over to help me and was absolutely wonderful. Due to spotty wi-fi the offer would not load on my phone. Joseph got a store tablet from the office, helped me reset my password (I didn't know it) and bring the offer up so I could get my free item. He did this with great patience, concern for my issue and charm as well. While helping me he also helped another customer as well as several Raley's associates without missing a beat. Because of Joseph my frustration was turned into a great customer experience. read more

Compared to the Valllejo Raleys, this one looks much better with a more updated interior decor; maybe because it's a newer store. The store also carries certain items you can't find in other stores in the area. read more

Employees are super friendly and helpful. Numerous times I've been in the produce section and the employees stocking have pointed me to the fresher produce (sometimes at the other entrance to the store), and they've also advised me on produce that I wasn't sure was ripe (as it was a new ingredient for me). read more

I've been going to this Raley's for years and I've had nothing but great experiences. I especially love their eCart service. A girl named Juno helped me earlier today and she was nothing but kind and wanted to make me happy and give me a good experience and I really appreciated her kindness. Really bad experience. I used to go with my dog, he was quiet and was sleeping into the caddy, not touching the food at anytime. Even the employees were used to come and cuddle him. One day, a manager came and said that dogs were suddenly forbidden. He was not open to a conversation, just asked me to get out and leave my dog into my car (which is strictly forbidden in CA state). Rude. And by the way, pay attention to expiration dates on fresh products, they are often exceeded and put in showcase anyway. read more

Not sure why the average rating is so low. VERY clean and well kept supermarket. Lovely produce selection, flower selection, beautiful orchids! The butcher has always been very friendly and knowledgeable, great deli selection, lots of unique products. The staff is super friendly too, I'm a neighbor so I see them often. Only reason they're not getting 5 stars is because they are a little pricy and times is hard these days! But on this end of town not a lot of options. Oh and the sushi is bomb! read more

Raley's employees always go above and beyond whenever I go in, previously I shopped at the Vallejo store, but this one was the best yet. I had forgotten my phone at my house (I don't have a car) and I usually use uber but without my phone I didn't have the app. The manager I believe her name was Maria or Mariah, well she was very helpful. I asked if she could call uber for me, (but they wont pick up without the app) so she made a few calls and got a cab for me, she asked them to let me finish shopping and to come in about half an hour. I don't know the Napa store very well, so I asked her for more help on finding product, she helped me until I was finished shopping and then made sure my cab was outside before leaving back into the store. She made my experience one of the best, so thank you Napa Raley's for having people that care about the community. I also wanted to mention Nesh or maybe it is Neesh, well either way, she was a wonderful help through the checkstand, and made sure to ask if there was anything else I needed before I left. Stopped in last night around 7:30 to feed my boyfriend after a long day of commuting from Santa Rosa. The woman at the hot food section of the deli was already putting away the serving spoons when we made eye contact. When we asked her if she was closing, she proceeded to tell us that they were "running behind schedule" and asked us to hurry up. My boyfriend and I were appalled! The lady was super rude and impatient as we looked at what was left from the day's shoppers. She then proceeded to ask us if we had made up our minds because she needed to close. For a place that's open until 11 you would think you could get food here in he early evening, right? Wrong. We walked away bummed out and upset by the service. As a fellow food service employee, I can understand the need to close up shop after a long day. But to be blatantly rude and impatient with your customer is how you run two people away from wanting to come back to the deli. read more

When I don't feel have time to go and have a nice sit down lunch, I come here in a pinch. This is a really big store with a descent deli and I will find something to tide me over until I can get some real food. I don't grocery shop here, I just come for the deli, produce, and snack/beverage section. Their health food section is adequate. read more

I've shopped at this Raleys since they opened as it is close and convenient for me. I've always received excellent service in the bakery, meat and produce. Employee's always take the time to get what I need if not on display. I appreciate and applaud that Raleys hires people with special needs. I ordered 2 pounds of sliced pepper turkey and 1 pound of sliced olive loaf. The clerk started to slice the pepper turkey and then an employee came over and he stopped my order, took hers and proceeded to fill her request. I suggested he keep my turkey and left. The clerk found me in the store and gave me my turkey and insisted he was going to finish me before he did his friend - not true as I never did get my Olive Loaf. I would suggest your employees be trained to treat customers with respect - evidently missing today. read more

A couple weeks ago I went to the Napa Raley's to pick up some New York Steaks, they were an advertised special. When I entered the store the Steaks were advertised on the chalkboard in the entryway, as well as in the print ad. I went to the meat counter but could not find the steaks, I asked the butcher (who was very nice!) and he informed me that they were out of the sale steaks but I could get a rain check. After I checked out I went to the lady at the service desk (so I didn't hold up the check out line), she seemed irritated that I asked for a rain check, then she made a phone call, and informed me that they would not issue a rain check on the steaks. I re-read the ad and there was no mention of "while quantities last" or "limited qualities", plus they still had the steaks listed on the handwritten chalkboard at both entrances to the store. To me this is "bait and switch" as they did still have the $12/lb New York steaks, but not the $4.99/lb New York steaks. I sent an e-mail to the Raley's corporate e-mail for clarification of their rain check policy, the site said I should receive a return e-mail within 48 hours. Well it's been over a week and still no answer from corporate. Maybe I'll get a response here. read more

Raley's has the best l/2 Turkey roasted..with salt, pepper an garlic almost like a prime rib would be cooked..It is awesome..for $10.00

The new produce department is terrible. Almost all the bulk produce is gone, replaced by refrigerated cases full of packaged produce. At least in one case, the price is much higher than when it was bulk. It looks like a Target grocery department now. This used to be the only place I would buy my organic veggies, but I think I will have to find a new store. read more

One of the deli works was very rude to me. I waited for a sandwich for 10 minutes and when he came over to take my order he just stood there staring at me. He just threw my sandwich together like he didn't care and with so much attitude. Barely said a word to me, and never smiled. read more

This is my neighborhood store and I used to love it. However, the customer service is now beyond horrible. A few weeks ago, I watched a woman slip. When she went to the cashier to tell them that she slipped on a wet spot, they dismissed her, with the customer service equivilant of a "yeah, yeah, whatever". Not one of the staff asked her if she was okay, they just muttered that they saw and would clean it up. Today when I walked to the self check, I was cut off by a manager that told me that I couldn't use the self-check because it was in use. I guess someone had started to ring three bags of chips and ran back into the store to get something. The manager did not say this to me, but just shoed me away, very rudely too. It felt more like McDonald's customer service than what I would expect from Raley's. They could have held her items aside and let everyone else go or they could have been more polite about telling other customers that they were holding her spot. The mishandling of these two incidents has led me to take my business elsewhere. Looking into it, their prices are not even the lowest. I will drive a little farther to get groceries. Customer service seems to be dead everywhere, but it really shouldn't be that hard, especially for a manager that has decided to make a career out of it.
