Javier, the technician was not educated properly by the owner, Omar. For a business who replaced batteries, they should know that a BMW or Mini Cooper needs to be programmed to said replaced battery. Javier did not inform me and since the battery change, check engine light came on, and so many issues popped up since my car was not registering the new battery. TERRIBLE SERVICE. I had to call AAA to have Omar come out for him to gaslight me that the check engine light wasn't because of the battery reset. Turns out IT WAS!! He then tells me his technicians should know to tell us that additional charge would be to these cars-- but I was NOT informed by Javier who came out to change my battery. I would've continued to have issues with my car which wasn't drivable until after Omar came out and finished the job of programming the battery to my car--which should've happened in the first place!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! would not recommend if you have a BMW or Mini needing service. Considering not using AAA after this awful experience with AE Motor. Omar did not want to take any responsibility, and was trying to make it seem like it wasn't because of them.. but was completely dumbfounded when the engine light turned off immediately after he programmed the battery. Just under $80 all inclusive. After the oil change, the mechanics informed me about a couple other things they recommend I address with my car. They provided me with quotes for visibility but didn't pressure me to complete the services which I appreciated I.e on was a filter change which I can do in my own. Through multiple visits with this mechanic, I've always trusted them to be authentic and I really appreciate their sincerity.

I also had an air suspension compressor pump replaced and they used an aftermarket pump that needed a bracket and didn't fit properly and made a very loud rattling noise and did it not inform me that they were not using OE part. After three tries replacing the brakes, Walee was dismissive of me and refused to check the parking brake tension cable and parking brake shoes when I suggested that that could be the issue. I took it to another shop (SF Automotive Solutions) and they told me that the brakes being used were the wrong kind of breaks and the parking brake shoes needed to be sanded and the tension cable lubed. The noise was gone after the new shop first attempted fix and has not come back.

Come to Faxon garage to leave with more problems than you came in with!…read more I came to Faxon Garage for a tire installation and alignment. I get a call from the owner mid-service saying that all 4 of my tpms sensors are dead...which he installed for me only 3 years prior! Very convenient story but I paid up because I had considered selling my car. The craziest part was actually when I got my car back because the trunk hydraulic was busted so bad that I had to use heavy force to open and close it. I called the owner out on the trunk and he pressured me out of replacing them with oem because he said it was all the same...which was a complete lie. The new ones are temu garbage and every time I close my trunk I'm reminded by how sloppy this garage is. The cherry on top was that my tail lights got burned out from the alignment and I had to spend time and money to replace those too. Do not come to this shop because they will nickel and dime you for bs issues while still providing F tier service. If they think they can get away with an obviously broken trunk door how honest do you think they will be if they mess up your engine, brakes, or transmission?

So I brought the car in and Dan informed me that, indeed, I had basically destroyed the brakes. He gave me some options for keeping the cost down but there wasn't much to be done at this point except replace everything. Rotors, pads, sensors... like I said, I did some great work here. He does the work that day, at probably half the price the dealer would have charged, and now the car stops again! Fantastic. Except a few days later, I noticed a squeaking noise. And over the next few weeks, it got gradually louder and louder, until it sounded like I was driving a dump truck. Uh oh. I call Dan. He is very concerned. He asks me to bring the car in immediately. It turns out one of the new brake pads appears to be defective. And with no hesitation, no hedging, no negotiation, he just replaces it. A few hours later, I have the car back, and now it doesn't squeak anymore. Super, super happy. He definitely stands by his work and will do what it takes to make the customer happy. Plus his prices are reasonable. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else.

HOB has prices that beat their competition by a country mile. I have pads included in my service plan for my Mazda and even with them included, after Royal Auto's price for labor, HOB was still cheaper for new rotors and pads. A week and a half after our latest brake job we started getting a weird sound from the wheels. Called and Dan said bring it in right away - didn't even have to make an appointment. I brought it in around 12 and he had me on my way before 2:30 including an hour wait for the parts distributor to ship him new parts, and then he apologized to me for the wait! Seriously, you dropped everything to put me at the front of the line, did the work and gave me new parts all for free? What could you possibly have to apologize for! Customer service like this hard to find in any industry. I'll never consider going anywhere else for brakes.
