Love Randy's! Donuts are fresh and delicious! My family and I always order any of the maple donuts, long johns, and glazed, and every time it's the same amazing chewy fresh and really generously portioned. Oh and the ham and cheese croissants are amazing and big! We always have to get this as well. Back today with the family to give this Randy's a second chance. Today the cronut was ok...a bit too sweet, but it lacked the fried grease taste it had the other day. However, the lemon glazed old fashioned and the green matcha (undercooked) donuts did taste like fried grease. The bear claw was reportedly "good" but had a weird aftertaste. With all that said, the apple fritter and cinnamon roll were ok. All and all, this is not the Los Angeles Randy's I grew up on. The customer service remains excellent and the place is clean. Was excited to try Randy's donuts but was disappointed. They had a nice display of donuts and if you like the fancy ones with a lot of icing this is your place. I prefer the basic plain donuts and they had no flavor and were on the dry side. I feel that Dulce Donuts are much better. But everyone's tastes are different so it doesn't hurt to give Randy's a try. read more

Tonight I came around 7:15 and went to the drive-thru and had a sweet guy helped me. I didn't catch his name but he had the gold Pokémon chain either way he made my night without knowing he was making my night. I have had the worst day and I came to get one donut to cheer myself up after paying he told me he gave me an extra donut and for some reason it warmed my heart and made my night. First time customer. Really don't understand the hype. Line was not that long. Out of a lot of donuts at 10 in the morning. Only order 2 donuts. The woman behind the counter kept pushing to order a dozen. Sorry but not paying $25 to $30 for a dozen. She wasn't happy she couldn't sell me a dozen. Wasn't not impressed with the 2 I got, jelly and raised sugar for the price of $4. Had better donuts from Smith's and Albertsons. All I can say is Wow!! I totally understand all the hype and how this place sold out on the first day. I loved their croissant doughnut, and maple bacon bars. First off they are Massive made with Real bacon! You can taste the difference vs pink box. In my opinion Randy's beats pink box in flavor all the way! I went to Randy's for the first time today and was very disappointed. I went through the drive thru and ordered a Bavarian cream filled bar,an apple fritter and a large hot latte. It cost just short of $10. The fritter is way over done so it tastes burnt. The bar was large but had so much filling that it folded over on itself,split and oozed out all over the bag. The latte was lukewarm so I went back inside and had them heat it. None of the food had any flavor to speak of. The Bavarian cream just tastes sweet as did the chocolate icing, no chocolate or vanilla flavor. There was no flavor to the donut dough itself. It was totally bland. these donuts are very good, other then two factors. #1: the texture is a bit too dry for my taste. but if you like your donuts a bit more firm then soft, then these are for you. #2: the frosting on the chocolate donut could've been a bit more chocolate-y for my taste, and a bit less sweet, but other then that, these are pretty good donuts! read more

I visited Randy's Donuts on Van Buren Blvd and these donuts taste nothing like the Randys Donuts in Inglewood. This franchise is owned and operated from from some very nice and welcoming people from India. But they cannot make good donuts. The donuts were nasty. The dounts look dry and taste dry. Not light and fluffy. No flavor at all. The glaze was so sparse, you could barely see it and definitely could not taste it. There were these ugly donuts were they had added fruit loops cereals to the donuts, making them look like giant colored pimples. My 10 year granddaughter questioned why someone would do that to a donut. There was the donut with triangle pieces of Oreo cookie on top. Nothing cute about that. I thought when you franchised you had to follow the company recipe. This franchise is doing it all wrong and don't deserve to call themselves Randy's Donuts. Garbage. Good customer service thought. My Wife and I went there on 12/08/2022 at 4:45am, most of the basics, glazed, chocolate glazed, chocolate bars, etc, were sold out. 85% of the Menu was sold out. The person at the drive thru was not very friendly. My Wife ordered the Chocolate Devil's Food Cake and the Glazed Crondy, I ordered the Chocolate Cruller and the Glazed Buttermilk. We paid over $7.00 for these donuts. Once we received our order we could not smell the freshness . When we got home, the chocolate cruller, which is normally soft and fluffy and the glazed buttermilk was not cruchy and soft. My Wife's Devil's Food Cake and her Glazed Crondy were also hard and we took 1 bite of each and then threw them away. Hard and Nasty. I feel like we were given Donuts from the day before that didn't sell. We could see thru the drive thru window all of the fresh Donuts sitting on the trays. So Why is your Menu Board Saying "SOLD OUT" on Popular Items and we have to CHOOSE FROM THE STUFF THAT IS LEFT OVER FROM THE DAY BEFORE. NOT VERY HAPPY AND NEVER GOING BACK. read more
