DELICIOUS BOBA!! Located right next to the harkins with a spacious parking lot! I got the Brown sugar boba and it was incredible! the perfect ratio of liquid, ice, and yummy brown sugar boba! Every time i've been there the staff have been super friendly and know the drinks very well. it's also a nice and quiet place to go and chill!. ps: the drink in my photo is just a black tea, i drank the brown sugar boba too fast to get one lol

I was craving Boba and this was the only location that was open so we made the drive out. We arrived about 20 minutes prior to closing. The staff members were super friendly. I ordered a coconut milk tea with brown sugar Boba. The drink portion of my tea was delicious, I will say the Boba tasted as though it had been there for quite a while. It was mushy. But then again it was closing time. My husband had the mango green tea with crystal Boba. His tea was delicious, with vibrant mango and fresh green tea flavor. They had a few seats inside as well as seats and tables.

I loooooove love love this spot! The boba is always the perfect amount of chewiness, and has a great brown sugar flavor. When you ask for things half sweet here, it's actually half sweet (I feel like some boba spot's "half sweet" still tastes extremely sweet to me!). The strawberry berry tea is my go-to. The drinks also come out super fast, and the interior is very modern and clean. The staff is always very kind, and will give you recommendations if you ask. So much parking, and it's also conveniently located right next to a korean BBQ spot... which I always have to get a sweet treat after! Whenever I'm in the area I definitely make a stop here.

Got two drinks here. Strawberry cream & lavender jasmine milk tea both at 50% sweet. The lavender jasmine milk tea is nice at 50% though perhaps I could go for 25%. I think the strawberry would taste better sweeter so i'd recommend 75% next time for myself. Clean interior and two comfy couches up front to sit on.

9/27/25: I confess, it's been so long since we popped in here, I cannot remember what we ordered. Mine was not bad, but my sister dumped hers when we got home. It tasted like soap. What I do remember is the young dude that was working this particular morning. When we walked in he was on his phone, not a huge deal, since no one was inside & we needed to look at the menu before deciding. What do you expect him to do, stare at the walls? :-) As we approached the counter, however, ready to order, his face remained planted in his phone & despite us starting to place our order, he was more concerned about finishing up his text (or whatever was so engrossing on his phone). I do like that they have compostable (small) straws; that they ask you not to take more than you need. We didn't take any! We have boba drinks so frequently we have multiple sets of steel straws. :-) Will we return? Not a snowball's chance in hell.

A cute little boba shop, located conveniently close to the movie theaters! This indoor cafe is very cute and has ample places to sit and chat. The staff was very helpful and they had samples available. The boba balls were a little bit cold and the flavor of my taro boba left a little to be desired (for the price...in this economy). I would still come back again if I was in the area for the vibes!

Ordered the roasted oolong milk tea (50% sweetness). I generally like that particular drink here, but be warned when coming here closer to closing as many of the popular drinks will be sold out. The milk tea definitely tastes more on the tea side, but can be masked if the drink is too sweet. The steamed bun and shumai are satisfactory for items outside of a dim sum establishment. If you're craving it, I'd say they're good enough, but you're going to be disappointed if you're expecting dim sum restaurant quality.

Two boba milk teas with no boba! Amazing!

lied about being out of boba because they were closing in 20 minutes. They were disrespectful when I tried asking about getting my drink in the first place. wasted my money and my time.

This is a very nice tea house near the Harkins theater. We've been here multiple times with friends. They have a lot of different tea options. I feel 7-8 bucks for a cup of boba tea is a little pricy, but it's close to our house, so we come here when we are craving some tea. I like the mango passion fruit tea, but 50% sweet. The duo grape tea is also pretty good.

Grabbed some boba with my family after dinner, and it definitely hit the spot. I chose the strawberry smoothie with lychee jelly, and it was a nice and refreshing treat. I would say the drinks are a little overpriced (I paid over $8 for my drink), but maybe that's just the new norm now? There's a nice seating area with a couch and coffee table, and everything was nice and clean. The service was good; we were greeted immediately upon walking in. The servers didn't talk much, but sometimes that's not a bad thing. Overall, I enjoyed this boba place and would revisit.

Clean, quiet, boba shop. There seemed to only be one woman running the store at the time I went, yet service was fast. She was flexible and met my unusual request of leaving the cup half empty (I didn't want a full cup of such a sweet drink). The Uji Matcha Latte had a pleasant balance of matcha and sweetness. I see myself coming back to this location in the future.

Happy National Bubble (Boba) Tea Day (4/30)! We came here when they first opened on 11/27/21 and have been coming back ever since. I tried Rare Tea back in California so that was my baseline to compare this location. There were a lot of drinks to choose from on their menu and my go-to drink here at Rare Tea would be the Okinawa Milk Tea with boba. The tea flavor was good and the boba were always chewy. I've tried a number of other drinks here like the Jasmine Green Milk Tea, Mango Passion Fruit Green Tea, Black Milk Tea, and Rose Spring Tea. They all tasted good to me but my go-to was still Okinawa Milk Tea with boba. It tasted the same as the Rare Tea in California so it was consistent. I should really just finish up the rest of the menu since I've tried almost everything on the menu. The staff here are friendly and you can even order online to come pick up. We've done that quite a few times since we don't live down the street from them anymore. We have gone to their Queen Creek location too but that's for another review. Rare Tea was great and one of our go-to places for boba! We'll be back!

I never write reviews BUT my family and I die for this Bubble Tea, its the best in AZ by far. I get Taro tea with boba at least twice a week. My family likes the Okinawa, Thai Milk Tea, and Caramelized Brown Sugar boba. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly too. Stopped in for their grand opening today and am glad I did! I've had boba before, but this place gets five stars because their menu had so many options. They had a wide variety of different teas (some that were sweet and others that were tart), including one with a rose flavor. You can choose if you want fruit or boba inside the tea and can also let them know the level of sweetness you prefer. I had the matcha lychee tea with boba which was perfect for an afternoon drink. If you are in the area and craving some tea, this is the place to go! read more

I've been to RareTea a bunch of times since I moved to the area and it's the closet boba shop. My normal order is a Thai tea with boba (which you really can't mess up) but every other order my friends and I have gotten tastes like soap! Not sure if this is because they clean the machines and don't rinse properly or it's just the products. But literally all of it tastes like soap. The cherry on top was today when I went and got my regular Thai tea with boba and they forgot the boba!! It was pretty busy so I didn't say anything but every time I come here I wonder why I keep coming back. read more

My absolute favorite boba spot close to home. The brown sugar milk tea is delicious, boba is always perfect and chewy. For the money, you get the larger size drinks which is great. The green teas are super sweet, so I would recommend 50% or less sugar. The store has online ordering which is always perfect for us on our way home from lunch!! A family favorite! read more

Came here during opening weekend. The tea is pretty good, boba has great texture. Biggest gripe is the price here. It's pretty expensive compared to other places with very similar drink experience. Close to $6-8 for a drink with boba. Otherwise not bad! read more

My son went to Rare Tea to grab us each a Taro boba drink. He brought them home, we shook them up and stuck in the straws to taste the goodness...guess what?!?! NO boba and NO taro. Both of our drinks were just milk with ice. So disappointing. We won't be back. Moral of the story: taste your drink before you leave to ensure they got it right. read more

Not bad. My caramelized brown sugar boba drink was HOT. Not warm. It came piping HOT, without a warning or notice to stir it first or mix it around. Even then, still didn't give enough ice. It was delicious though. The Okinawa tea was also not bad, and not enough ice. If I'm in the area, sure I guess I'd go back but nothing special. read more

My son and I tried the milk tea with boba today. I ordered a regular black milk tea with boba plus added foam and my son had a milk tea with boba with oat milk substitute (both orders 1/2 sweetness). My drink was tasty and satisfied my bubble tea craving. My son liked his as well. It's a plus that they offer non-dairy milk for those who have milk allergies or intolerances. my friend/coworker and i had seen rare tea on Instagram and decided to try it. I could come here everyday! The atomosphere is amazing and the boba is perfect. My favorite is the Caramelized brown sugar milk tea that comes with Brown sugar boba it's so amazing and perfectly sweet. The boba is always hot and fresh. Hands down, love Rare Tea now! I got their coffee milk boba tea before going to work. I wish I got more than just one! Definitely will be coming back for more and even try their other choices. Their location is by Jollibee and a Harkins Theater. Fun! Place is spotless clean. Staff are friendly and attentive. Do they offer milk alternatives or sweetness levels to choose from?

Yes; a lot of their teas use no dairy, or almond milk. There are notes on the menu about which teas have milk in them. I believe I saw three sweetness levels - I'd recommend asking about your sweetness level up front though, they normally don't ask.

I did decide to try a potato samosa which I really enjoyed (I've had many samosas before). Quiet a few of the drinks interested me and I finally decided at 9am I need coffee. The woman working helped me decided on mixing a couple flavors which ended up tasting great! We had mixed the pistachio and spain lattes (warm). It wasn't overly sweet but had flavor which is my vibe. My friend got the Dubai Chocolate Latte and enjoyed it. Customer service was good not necessarily great! This specialty Yemeni Coffee chain opened this Chandler location about two weeks ago. Twenty four locations were opened within 24 months with nine more in the works. Heavily present in Michigan and New York, other locations are popping up in Illinois, Georgia and now Arizona. We placed an order at the counter, sat down then took in the pretty and bright surroundings. I just love the Qamaria (half moon) arches that stand out among all the modern Middle Eastern components. The crown molding supported the beautiful detailing along the ceiling. Now for the coffees. The Saffron Latte $8 was unique to me. With added sugar, it was okay. The Cortado $6 + $1 sub for almond milk had bold, roasty and earthy tones but a tad of sugar had to be added to balance it. I would order something else next time. We didn't try any of the baked goods in the case but they looked delicious. Today, Sunday at 10:20 am there was one group in line ahead of us. When leaving at 10:50 am there were eight people in line. Parking was easily accessible with a small parking lot on the west side of this building, and there's also a parking garage. I got a…read morehot caramel/vanilla latte (it was nice and hot!) and my boyfriend got their caramel wave iced coffee (very tasty and perfectly sweet!) They actually make their ice cubes using their American Blend and Espresso coffee blends (coffee ice) to make them. It makes sure that when your ice starts to melt it's not as "watery" in taste - so smart and would definitely say that makes them unique! I've been to many coffee shops and they don't do the same. Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is a franchise, so locally owned by individual owners. If you are one to support local or just want a good cup of coffee, would definitely recommend checking them out! Note, they are located inside the Palette Collective so you won't see their sign at the top of the building.

First off, they use coffee ice cubes for their iced coffee, which is such a game changer--it never gets watered down. The flavor of their coffee is bold yet incredibly smooth, which is hard to find. You can really taste the quality of the beans. This spot has officially become my go-to for coffee. Definitely worth checking out if you're tired of the usual overly sweet, watered-down drinks.
