My wife and I stopped by this Raspado Xpress location because she wanted her Strawberry Raspado while we were in the plaza doing our groceries shopping. We found parking easily in the plaza this store is in. I also got their nachos with jalapenos. The lady working made our order quick and we took it home to eat. My wife loved her strawberry Raspado but my nacho chips were very stale. It was old or sat out for too long. They still give a decent amount of cheese and jalapenos but the main thing about nachos are the chips. They have outdoor seating here if you want to eat or drink your order there. read more

This place is horrible. The Service is horrible. The girls that work there have the worst attitude like they don't wanna be there. It's small very hot. You have to sit outside. Rain Sun or shine. I went through this past weekend. The girl that was at the registered did not even acknowledge me standing there. Preferred to take the Uber Driver or Uber Eats. Driver did not tell me to give her a second that she was. The only one in the store. Never acknowledge me after about 10 maybe 15 minutes that I stood there. I walked out. She didn't even apologize. Let me start off by saying I don't miss working in fast food at all. The ladies here deserve an award for patience. I am nine months pregnant and only want a chamoyada. But at least three different orders have been cancelled due to them not having the lime juice needed for it. I ordered while at a drs appt and it didn't get cancelled so I was excited to finally get it. I showed up to pick up my order. Again no lime juice and this baby inside me was pissed! I never voice how upset I am but I did today. I told them, specially the one helping me that I know it's not her fault I was just so frustrated. After choosing a different flavor for my specialty raspado and for my agua fresca I also ordered nachos. She gave them to me on the house, wow! A+ service, she didn't have to do that. So the few dollars I had I tipped them. It's never really the workers fault but they dealt with my little attitude gracefully. I wanna update my review this is horrible, I placed an order on grub hub and it said it was ready when I came, they said that someone came to pick it up already, but how if I bearly came. I believe they just gave my order to other people and didn't even bother to see the confirmation order or nothing. That's not right definitely not coming here again what bad customer service and back way to handle online. Worse experience ever. The service is horrible I ordered at 7:30 and got my order til 8 and the girl that was taking my order continuously rolled her eyes and was speaking under her breath towards me. The ambiance is definitely 1/10 cramped area. There was a lot of people and Julissa was in the back area and comes out when the girl taking orders was struggling . The food is a 6/10 only because I was charged for saladitos and did not receive them as well as my order. However, customers are not respecting the social distance or the signs that this establishment has places, but it's not like the employees are enforcing them. There is a sign 3 customers inside at a time, I counted 6 inside. There are stickers inside that say stand here, people are not using it. How annoying. This place seemed promising when it first opened up. I was here any chance I got for the raspados. My choice was always mangoneada, at first the mango bits were perfect and tasty and the ice was actually like a slushy and easy to eat. Time after it's opening the ice would come out chunky to the point where it was so hard to eat! The mango would either still be green with absolutely nor too ripe and disgusting. Quality is not there anymore so I will not be back. The space was also very small. It felt like standing in a hallway while placing an order and was very uncomfortable the longer the line was. UPDATE: I appreciate the your prompt and friendly response, I will not accept my money back, I enjoy shopping from smaller business' that aren't part of a corporate chain. Instead I will give this place another try and update my review if it's a better experience this time around. I'm just so used to the authentic raspados I grew up eating that my grandmother would make so I'm a harsh critic when it comes to trying to find that same quality. I found that similar quality the first couple of times I came here so I was upset when I realized there had been changes made. place is Awesome, I've been going here for a few years now and its always been great...staff is super nice, sometimes gets very busy but that shows and proves that their stuff is good, in my opinion its worth the wait. 12:30 to 4:30pm is probably their busiest times, if you go around 11:30am or after 6pm you'll be in and out. Service here blows. When I get a craving for my favorite mango smoothie tho, nothing, not even the horrendous service or the 30 minute line will stop me. After I get a taste of the service I'm reminded why I keep my craving to a monthly fix.(if even that) I will say if you can catch them on a good day with no line, get in there and try any one of their drink items. Menu is pretty straight forward and affordable. Very tiny inside but clean and fast service. I got a strawberry and coconut raspado with lechera. It was really good. I also got an esquite and thought it was a good size for price. Parking was easy, there's a big parking lot. Would recommend this spot if you are in the mood for something sweet. read more

The chamango is by far my favorite. The staff are friendly. Really dislike how it's super small and when it gets packed people who are waiting for their raspados are waiting inside when there is already a ton of people waiting to order. You don't know who has paid or whos been waiting. They should really find another location in Sylmar or at least expand the place. read more
