Very cute little space with chill relaxed vibes. Tables are spaced well and the decor has a mellow pastel theme. The workers are overall very nice and helpful, kept the space clean and neat. I just tried the earl grey latte with oat milk. I love how it's not overly sweet and the drink is very smooth. I wish it had a slightly more prominent earl gray taste. Right now it's somewhat muted and it's more of an aftertaste. They also put too much ice in the iced drinks. Anyways a good latte overall. Price point is on the high side but it's a good quality drink (8 dollars for a standard 16 oz drink). read more

This bakery is such a cute spot. I tried two scones and four cookies. The ube Oreo one is the winner. It's the best ube cookie I've had. I usually don't like them because they lack flavor but these were delicious. The grey and grain cookie was good. I didn't really like the pineapple cookie. It's new but lacks pineapple bun flavor. The matcha scone was a bit dry which was disappointing. I would come back for the ube cookie. I wish they had a black sesame cookie like the ube one. So ecstatic for more coffee options in the area; Re Bakesic opened up a couple of weeks ago and they're already popular! I wandered over after a Sprouts run, on a weekend afternoon and they were already sold out of their pastries. I managed to snag an earl grey cookie, which was good but not AMAZING (probably one of the reasons why there were a bunch left!). Decor and inside are cute and there were plenty of tables to sit around and relax. We got the gone nuts and brown sugar lover drinks, and both were solid. I wasn't blown away by either of them but the gone nuts was unique with the sesame and peanut cream on top. Very helpful service, and my drinks were out fairly quickly. Will have to make it back out another day to snag a some of their pastries! read more

Lovely new addition to the neighborhood! I've been here a handful time already in the last month and each time, every staff member is very friendly. I've loved every drink so far. There hasn't been any inconsistencies in terms of taste. I will say, if you love really strong coffee- this might not be the place for you but I've enjoyed every drink. their speciality drinks are not over sweetened which is a plus for me. On a Saturday morning in late May, my sister and I decided to visit new scones bakery in the new apartment parking lot near Sprouts. Inside, the staff are nice as we looked at the Asian fusion scones and drink menu. The interior is nice and calming with a communal table and small little tables. The was free water jug with small cups. The osmanthus mochi scone and hojicha pistachio scone tastes good and I can taste the tea inside. The ice oolong tea was refreshing. read more

I really want this place to succeed but their menu is really hit or miss for me. I've come here many times now and ordered a variety of items. I think their strawberry cream hojicha and blueberry matcha latte are decent, but some other items on their menu just don't quite work. They previously had a fig matcha latte summer special drink and I was really surprised that they just put essentially what looked like fig jam (from a jar - not sweetened at all) at the bottom of a matcha latte. I attempted to mix it in thoroughly with a straw but even then, I didn't get any fig flavor. Same with their earl grey matcha latte - barely any earl grey flavor. Their pastries are hit or miss as well for me. I'm normally a big scone fan, but don't really enjoy theirs as I find it way too dry for my liking. I find the matcha red bean one kind of gross. Their pineapple cake cookie is decent, but their black sesame banana bread was just fine (a bit dry and didn't get too much black sesame flavor). After my 5th time coming here, I decided I don't think I'll go back. The quality just isn't worth the money they charge here and I just don't think that a lot their items taste like what they advertise. read more

A new cafe to the Alhambra area! There was plenty of parking and the cafe itself was very cute. I ordered a Strawberry Field and was very happy to hear they offered decaf options. The drink was not super sweet, with a strong strawberry flavor from the puree. My boyfriend got the On Cloud Nine, which he said was very solid. I also got to try the black sesame banana bread and blueberry lemon matcha muffin, which were all really good, but make sure to go earlier since they sell out of their pastries fast! Stopped by around 8 AM with my group of three. The place wasn't busy but already had a few people inside. They had a big selection of baked goods that looked really appealing. Unfortunately, looks were deceiving. I ordered a matcha latte, ube s'mores cookie, hojicha pistachio scone, matcha red bean mochi scone, another cookie (can't remember which one), and a blueberry matcha muffin. The only item I liked and would get again was the blueberry matcha muffin. It had a nice matcha flavor, and the muffin itself was moist. Everything else was disappointing. Most of the pastries were very dry. I know scones are typically on the drier side, but even so, the flavors weren't there either. However, the sweetness level was good, everything was "not too sweet." The girl packaging my pastries dropped my hojicha scone and the pistachio topping fell off and then proceeded to scoop it up with the spatula and put it back on top (lol). The matcha latte was watered down, and the matcha had an earthy taste (more like dirt). Would not recommend. read more

Cute bakery in Alhambra! There's some parking in the garage behind the bakery, which is very much appreciated. There are a lot of unique baked items and drinks at this cafe. We ordered a matcha blueberry muffin, but we were tempted by the black sesame banana bread and the various scones that they have. We also ordered the Strawberry Field and the Kinako Matcha. The strawberry field lives up its name, with a lot of nice sweetness from the puree and the strawberry cream. The Kinako Matcha was also solid, with a strong matcha flavor and earthy nuttyness from the soybean. There's a good number of tables for those wanting a space to study. Went on July 4th morning and lucked out, only 2 parties ahead of me. I picked up Matcha Red Bean Mochi Scone, Hojicha Pistachio Scone and Grey & Grain Cookie. The lady who helped me was pleasant and handed me the goodies right away. The hojicha scone was a bit dry, but I really enjoyed the matcha with mochi inside. The cookie was good too. The flavor was subtle and not too sweet. The area is spacious and comfortable. The bakery is part of the complex building, and there's ample parking inside the building for customers. I got the pistachio hojicha which did not have mochi inside, but the scone itself had a nice roasted flavor and the pistachio topping on top had a nice crunch. I was genuinely thrilled when I heard Re Bakesic was opening a storefront in Alhambra! I first discovered their baked goods at a pop-up booth outside a community coffee shop in Irvine, and I was immediately impressed by how unique and delicious everything was. Their pastries had such a creative flair and flavor that I followed them on Instagram right away to keep up with their latest offerings. When they announced the opening of their brick-and-mortar location, I knew I had to visit. I stopped by during their opening month and tried a drink and pasty (forgot the names sorry). and neither disappointed! The quality and originality I first experienced at their pop-up carried over beautifully into their new space. The bakery itself is just as charming as their treats. I absolutely love the clean, "pretty in pink" interior, it's bright, inviting, and makes for a lovely spot to relax and enjoy something sweet. Just seemed very meh compared to the other flavors. Osmanthus oolong mochi scone ($6.25): not bad, can really taste the tea and I liked the mochi in the middle. Not a favorite, but decent! Ube mochi brownie ($5.25): another limited edition item for Father's Day - I love how chewy it is! I think it's pretty pricey for the size but I'm glad I got to try it. Grey & grain cookie ($5): pretty tasty black sesame cookie. I like the little bits of sea salt on top. I usually don't like thin cookies but this was pretty good, it was crispy and chewy. Black sesame banana bread ($5.50): I like getting this for breakfast. Very nutty and tasty. Not overwhelmingly banana sweet either. The great thing about these is that the cookies usually are still good after a few days so I like to buy a couple for the week as a daily treat. Wonderful place to chill and hang out with friends! When I found out there was a bakery and coffee shop opening right next to my apartment I was so excited! Love being able to walk down the street to get my daily dose of caffeine and a bite of their Asian inspired pastries! The first two times they sold out by the time I got there, but the third time's the charm! The Vanilla Latte was great, not too sweet so I could still taste the coffee. Unfortunately, by 12:30pm, almost every pastry was sold out :( If you want to try a pastry I recommend getting there early. The latte with oat milk wasn't very good, it seemed watery and in need of a better coffee to milk ratio. 5/10 The strawberry cream hojicha was so good though. It was my first time seeing a cafe offer hojicha with a different flavor / add on. The cream wasn't overly sweet and did have a very fresh strawberry flavor. It paired really nicely with the hojicha. Nothing worse than having a huge craving for a specific treat, seeing there is one last one left, ordering it (and repeating myself twice) only to get rung up and given the wrong item... But then you realize too late and the person behind you got the last one :( and I think they put the wrong milk in our drink. (Not their fault entirely I should have doubled checked) but the incorrect scone I was given was very dry and bitter (double disappointing). The cookie was nice but just tasted like a plain chocolate chip. My husband felt bad that he had his drink and treat so I ordered AGAIN. I got the matcha scone which surprisingly had a matcha taste (matcha loses flavor baked) and a nice chewy mochi center. It's on the drier side so of course you need a matcha to wash it down so I happily got their Banana matcha on their "4th of July weekend special" menu. Matcha has a strong delicious taste, creamy and just enough banana. I would come back for the matcha 100% I think it's worth it... scones is 50/50 but go early as they have limited selection. Came here on a Monday afternoon. Scattering off groups and individuals on their laptops. Parked across the street at the shopping complex and walked over. Very clean and minimalist dining space. Ordered the Gone Nuts and Kinako Matcha drinks. I really enjoyed the Gone Nuts - black sesame and peanut flavors. The kinako could've used more soybean powder. Also tried the black sesame mochi scone. Very crumbly and flavorful with a touch of frosting on top - plus a chewy mochi center. Delicious! Would definitely order again. They were out of the pineapple cookie pastry so I'll have to come back to try that. Very friendly service, helpful in answering questions on the food/drinks. Lots of tables if you want to linger. Finally a brick-and-mortar store! I had been following their journey ever since encountering them at their pop-up booth in Pasadena. They were selling these different flavors mochi scones that tasted so good and unique. I'm so happy that they have an actual store now and still have their mochi scones along with all these other baked goodies and drinks. I tried their Lychee Oolong Nojito and it was very refreshing and light. I liked how it was the perfect sweetness to my liking. I usually adjust my drinks to the lowest sweetness level but for this, I didn't need to at all. I also ordered the On Cloud Nine and Brown Sugar Lover for my friends and they loved it! They were telling me they craved for it the next day. For the baked goodies, I got the matcha blueberry muffin, osmanthus oolong mochi scone, and the black sesame banana bread. Cute aesthetic cafe with a good amount of seating. The day I went, it was pretty noisy inside so I personally wouldn't come here to study. I tried the americano and the thai matcha latte. The americano was below average. The thai matcha latte was pretty good, I would decrease the sugar levels a little bit if I were to get it again but I believe it was a limited time item. I've heard mixed reviews of the baked goods so I opted not to get any. But they do look delicious! read more
