A buddy of mine showed me this spot and it was really good! I tried the Pistachio Cream Top and Lavender Matcha. Both of these drinks had great matcha flavor. Re Coffee definitely focuses more on the matcha than the sweetness which I appreciate. The cream top for the Pistachio Cream Top was perfect and smooth. The lavender in the Lavender Matcha was prominent yet still allowed the matcha to stand out. The service was great. Orders were taken fast and drinks came out in a timely manner. Drinks were made with care; presentation alone speaks for itself. Ambiance was nice! Indoor seating with a modern/ clean coffee shop vibe. Overall , would come back again and try more of their drinks!
My favorite coffee shop in the Valley! Drinks: - Peanut Cream Top: my favorite since finding peanut butter items is difficult. The peanut cream has a deliciously strong peanut butter flavor. Unfortunately, if you drink the peanut cream first without mixing the drink, the rest of the drink is a little bland
So delicious and I understand why there's always a line. When I went in it was later in the afternoon so there was no wait. The place is a little small and not a lot of seating and parking is shared in the back. But honestly the coffee and customer service makes up for it. Definitely will be coming back again.
One of the best matcha and hojicha I've had so far! Perfectly creamy, with a good balance of sweet. We waited around 20 minutes to order, there was quite a long line. Parking was easy to find, they have a lot and there are several surrounding free parking lots. The cafe inside was clean and well designed with several tables - by the time we got out drinks, a table had cleared up and we sat down. We ordered the matcha einspanner and the hojicha einspanner. The matcha was high quality, very rich and strong. The cream added a nice sweetness, but it wasn't overall sweet or bitter either. I love hojicha and always recommend it as an alternative to matcha or coffee at cafes. The hojicha here was chocolatey and smooth, absolutely amazing! Very well balanced and well made drinks - and they are absolutely photogenic as well ;) Highly recommend!
Been back several times in the past year, including during the holidays, and their seasonal holiday drinks are delicious. I don't know what the calory count is but calories don't count during the holidays, right? Their EINSPANNER is super delicious. That dollop of cream on top is insanely good!!!! I don't always order sweetened espresso drinks, but when I do, it's Re's Einspanner! I think they use the same cream topper for their MATCHA which is also super delicious. Dude, the line to order does NOT go down. It goes fast but with the constant influx of customers, the line doesn't actually shorten. They use their own beans now too and they use DARK ROAST. They no longer use Canyon Coffee. Though the space is small, it instantly relaxes me. There is a free parking lot behind the shop accessible via the alley. Street parking is available on the streets surrounding too if you can find one.
Stopped by because this shop is right next door to the UPS store but wow it was crowded. It's a very small space and there were so many people crowded in there. The coffee seems to be amazing that there's so much foot traffic here! I don't personally drink coffee but I love the smell, the non coffee menu has a few things to choose from! Parking is in the back and I easily found parking today (saturday) at 930am
I finally get the hype around this coffee--especially that cream top! I tried the caramel crème top, pistachio matcha, and their einslatte, and everything was delicious and full of flavor. The pistachio matcha really stood out; it tastes like creamy ice cream. The caramel crème top was just as good and super fun to drink. I also love that you can customize the sweetness of your drink. They have an amazing selection of pastries too. I tried the Dubai croissant, and it was absolutely divine. On top of that, the service was excellent--the staff were very friendly, made great recommendations, and explained everything clearly to us.
Surprised I haven't reviewed this golden spot yet but the drinks here are always well-crafted and worth it if you see the line short! Lol. The matcha here satisfies one's craving and they use ceremonial top grade matcha. They also offer their drinks in regular, almond, or oat milk ($.75 more) which is always a plus. Unfortunately I did see prices go up a dollar from a $6 matcha latte to $7 now compared to last year but it's definitely not breaking your bank if you get this and it's definitely worth it as it's a great blend of matcha/milk. PSA: On busy weekdays, I've noticed a parking guy in the back lot ensure that people can't park at the Habit lot and walk over! Just something to note so make sure to park at the correct lot right behind the cafe/UPS location. It's a small lot also but this spot is more of an in/out situation. Wouldn't recommend studying here since it's loud and super busy but some still do with headphones
I really enjoy coming to Re Coffee. Their coffee and pastries are always delicious and definitely worth the stop. Every time I've gone, there's usually a line, but it moves pretty quickly so it's never a big deal. My only wish is that there was a little more room inside to sit, relax, and chat because the space can feel a bit tight. Other than that, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. read more

Been here about 3 times and will keep coming back. I have yet to try pastries but their drinks are delicious. I've gotten a matcha and a pistachio cream top(coffee), both hot and both were delicious. Service was quick even when I came once and there was a long line outside. Definitely recommend to try read more

tried both the matcha latte & einspanner latte (the only diff is the cream foam if you're wondering) line is always out the door for this little shop but the ceremonial grade matcha is well worth the wait! love the drinks don't love the prices :) read more
This is my new favorite coffee/matcha shop in the northridge area. Everytime I go or drive past Re Coffee, there's a line out the door! The workers are kind and will help you pick out a drink. I tried their most popular drinks: the Einspanner latte, matcha einspanner, and caramel cream top and they all exceeded my expectations. I wish the matcha in the matcha einspanner was a bit stronger though. My favorite part of Re Coffee is the presentation of all of their drinks. They add a thick amount of cream to the top of their drinks which makes it look very presentable. I highly recommend Re coffee to anyone in the area. However, this place is more of a takeout coffee shop than a sit down because there's limited seating and it gets pretty crowded. read more
I ordered the pistachio cream top latte and it was absolutely delicious--creamy, nutty, and so flavorful. Probably the most tasteful coffee I have had in a while! The staff was super friendly and kept things moving even with the long line (about a 20-minute wait). I also loved the interior vibes--very modern, stylish, and perfect for enjoying your drink. Re Coffee was one my list to try for a while. I finally gave it a try on a Saturday at around 5 pm. I was genuinely surprised to see it was very full. There was a line that went out the door from the time I order until I left. I needed to wait 5-7 minutes before I could order. Once ordering, it also took 5-7 minutes to get it as well. I was looking for something not too sweet for the afternoon. I decided to get the Einspanner black. I would have preferred if it was slightly sweeter. But it was exactly what I was looking for. Inside, they had a decent amount of seating. However, my party had 9 people, so we needed to split to two different sections. For parking, we were able to find some street parking right in front. I always see such a long line here! So since I had a slow start on my weekday I was able to stop in around 10:30am on a Thursday and there was a very short line. The drink options offer alternative milks and sweeteners. I got my drink in 5 minutes! I was worried because I always set my expectations pretty high due to yelp star reviews and RE:COFFEE did not disappoint. I've been a big fan of Starbucks' Cream Foams since they came out and this is a big step up! The coffee is so rich and the creamy cloudy top is heaven! The Crème Brûlée croissant is pretty huge and delicious. Looking forward to coming back to try everything! read more
I went back to Re: Coffee hoping they had their matcha back in stock, and they did! I ordered the Iced Matcha Einspanner with no sweetener ($7), and my order came out pretty fast. First impression--the presentation was so pretty. I personally don't like sweet matcha, which is why I requested no sweetener, and it did not disappoint. The matcha flavor was rich and prominent, unlike some places where it just tastes like milk. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back! read more

I got the caramel cream top less sweet with oat milk it's amazing. I'm sure full sweet is even more amazing i'll definitely be back to try their Matcha and the pistachio cream top, I hear a lot of good things about. The Creme has a slight denseness to it and kind of reminds me of marshmallow cream. I love that it does not melt in your coffee really fast. It sits on top so you can enjoy the coffee flavor also as it very slowly melts. They have an option of oat milk, milk, and pistachio milk. My bestie recently took me to RE Coffee after raving about it forever, and I was absolutely shook by my matcha drink. When I say it was the greenest, most beautiful matcha I've ever seen, I mean it. This is a small little matcha spot located in the Northridge area. I visited half an hour before closing which made my matcha super fast to grab. I ordered the Matcha Einspanner with pistachio milk. I will be honest I didn't taste the pistachio milk at all but maybe that was the charm of how it balances the bitter matcha taste. The cream on top is what you'd expect--thick and creamy. Stopped by real quick during the week since my sister had mentioned it's good. I don't live in the valley anymore so I had the chance to when visiting. It was around noon to 1 when I went in and I thought it might be busy since the college campus is close by, but I was able to order right away. Staff were friendly. The woman who helped me asked if I wanted anything for my toddler like hot chocolate or milk. I opted for the smallest cup of strawberry milk.... That ended up being $5.50 or $5.99.. what?!?! Insane. The matcha was alright, not the worst and not the best matcha I've had. Strawberry milk was good but for the tiny cup we got, ridiculous. read more

Second time visiting Re Coffee and it hit! The matcha was giving and the croissant was delicious with fresh fruit. Despite the long lines, our drinks were out fairly quickly. There are a couple of tables and luckily we managed to get one! Busy ambiance with good vibes! read more

I really wanted to like this place. The space is clean and nicely designed, and the drink menu sounds creative and fun. I ordered a caramel cream top and asked for no ice, expecting a fuller drink, but the cup came barely half full. For the price I paid, it felt disappointing. The flavor was okay but nothing special. The coffee had a bitter aftertaste and the cream on top did not balance it out the way I hoped. I also noticed other reviews mentioning the same issue, so it does not seem like a one time thing. Service was polite but a bit disorganized. I have seen comments about billing errors and I can understand how those happen based on how my order was handled. I think this place has potential, but right now it feels more like style over substance. Hoping to see improvements because the idea is there it just needs better execution. read more
That matcha here is absolutely delicious! We enjoyed both the matcha lemonade and the einspanner. Perfectly crafted with high quality ingredients. It does get extremely busy here but the line moves quickly and is well worth it, highly recommended! read more

Came back again! Tried the caramel latte and it's delish!! This is a great little spot to study but usually busy and filled with CSUN students. Parking is also not very accessible, which is my only complaint. Really good spot for a chat as well!! I came here with my cousin for some gossip. read more

I got the caramel cream top and asked for no ice. I was expecting that the volume of my drink would be lower, but I was not expecting that my cup would actually be only 50% full. I paid $7 for four mouthfuls of coffee. I thought the flavor was just alright and the cream topping was pretty good. Also (not that this is the fault of the establishment) but there was a line going out the door yet the shop itself was very cramped, making waiting in line a generally awkward experience. read more

I have been wanting to try this place forever!!! There's always a huge line and I hateee waiting in line but I got lucky yesterday! Only one person ahead of me and I got my drink within 3 minutes! I tried the Pistachio Cream Matcha and I'm speechless! 10/10! Soooo delicious! I am looking forward to trying other drinks on the menu but of course, when there's no line. No more baked goods towards the end of the night, be sure to get there early. Got a hot chocolate for my little sister and an Iced Pistachio Cream Top for myself. This drink is Americano, pistachio syrup, pistachio cream, and pistachio crumbles on top. Pistachios all around baby. Creamy coffee pistachio goodness. so good! This was my second visit to RE Coffee in Northridge, and overall, it remains a clean and cozy spot, clearly designed with a to-go experience in mind. I ordered the Pistachio Cream Top and the Peanut Cream Top. The staff were friendly, and my order was prepared promptly, which I appreciated. In terms of taste, the Peanut Cream Top had a strong peanut flavor, but it was a bit too sweet for my personal preference. I also found the coffee flavor to be quite muted. As for the Pistachio Cream Top, the pistachio was very subtle--almost more of a light pistachio milk than a true pistachio latte. Compared to similar drinks I've tried in Koreatown, this one lacked depth and a distinct coffee presence. RE Coffee is a nice option if you're looking for a quick and smooth drink on the go, but if you're seeking bold coffee flavor or rich nutty profiles, these particular drinks may fall short. read more

Matcha einspanner: Ok. Ong might be #1 for matcha einspanners in LA right now. Considering the price, amount of matcha itself & the whole drink, quality, and cream top this a W for me Service: Worker was a little short with us even though we had some questions. Drinks came out fairly quick as well! Ambience: Seems like a good place to study. I don't know if there are any outlets or WiFi, but there's a good amount of seating and seems clean. There's also a parking lot in the back, but seems a little crowded so may be hard to find parking. read more

Re Coffee has been one of my favorite cafes over the past few months, and I can't get over it! I've already gone through three stamp cards alone. Some of my favorite drinks are: 1. Matcha Einspanner 2. Caramel Cream Top 3. Mocha Cream Top All of their drinks are just the right amount of sweetness and the flavors do not lack at all! Will be going to this cafe forever read more
A cute coffee shop with a variety of specialty drinks! I tried the matcha einspanner and the pistachio matcha latte. Both were very creamy, but because of how rich they were, I wish the matcha flavor was stronger to really shine through. We went on a Sunday morning and the wait was around 10 to 15 minutes, but it was hard to find parking near the shop. read more

The worst drink I've had in years. I ordered the matcha latte. 1) It was warm, not hot. Just slightly more than lukewarm. 2) The menu says either vanilla or agave, my drink was barely sweet when I chose agave. 3) This version of matcha tastes grassy. Not good tasting at all. 4) The menu is only in front of the register, it needs to be hung up in large letters so you can see what you want ahead of time. 5) If there's a special description to how the sweetener works, then explain it fully so the barista doesn't have to. 5) The inside is sterile looking. No personality. No pictures on the wall. The seating doesn't make sense. Worst use of space. It's not a comfy place to be. I hated everything about this place and this is the first and only time I would say that about a coffee shop. read more
