The Garlic Parmesan wings were the best I've had. The eggplant caprese was a first for us and it was yummy, the eggplant was battered and crispy topped with mozzarella, tomatoes, fresh basil and balsamic drizzle. The Red Devil combo pizza was topped with fresh veggies, pepperoni and sausage with a thin crisp crust. We loved everything and will definitely be back to try more. I'll put this simply. If you eat, and like Italian food, eat here. This is a comfortable Italian Restaurant that has amazing food. This is also the first time my wife and I have eaten here, but it was our anniversary and we had wanted to try this place for a while. I must say this to begin. We have found our Italian restaurant in the White Mountains. When we entered, the place smelled amazing, and since we had never eaten here, we ordered a lot of food, after all, why choose if you don't have too. Our server, Michael, took our drink orders and brought them and fresh ciabatta bread with real butter. Something to snack on while we looked at the menu. There were so many things we wanted to try. When he came back, we ordered Boneless Garlic Parmesan wings and the Spinach Artichoke Dip for our starters, but still had to look at the menu for our main courses. OMG! We could have just eaten just those with nothing else! Outstanding! Well, I finally ordered the Red Devil Trio because I still couldn't decide, and my wife got the Portobello Mushroom Ravioli. We also got the Red Devil Combo Pizza without green peppers because, you know, pizza, and leftovers. Michael was an excellent server. Friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I had the Mediterranean pasta with Fettuccine. It was, hands down, the best pasta dish I have ever had. It had a simple, super garlicky, perfectly balanced sauce that I couldn't stop eating. We used Yelp to find a good place for pizza while staying in town, which led us to this place. We ordered the boneless chicken wings, fried ravioli and a Red Devil Combo pizza. The boneless chicken was pretty good, ordered with the Honey Hot sauce. Nothing exciting, but definitely good to eat. The fried ravioli appetizer was really delicious! It came with 3 large cheese filled ravioli that seemed to be hand breaded and deep fried. This was an amazing dish, we really enjoyed this one. The pizza - well.... It was just A-OK. For the topping combination on the combo pizza, nothing really jumped out. After a couple slices, I was thinking something was missing either from the sauce or the crust. I'm thinking it's the crust, as the ravioli came with a side of sauce and that was pretty good. Overall, a pretty decent experience - I just wouldn't race back here for the pizza. Red Devil has pretty good food but the "pasta with a side of racism" review is correct. Sunday night dinner, 6pm after a day of skiing. We were happy with our food, but a food runner who messed up was reprimanded for her mistake in a terribly rude scene at our table. I was embarrassed for her and felt so much so I told our server, who happened to be the bartender, "be nicer to her", he replied saying they've worked together for 10+ years. Ok I can definitely understand coworker jibber jabber/ sarcasm. However he followed it up his response with racists comments towards her about the pandemic. "Chinese Virus" I quote from this bartender talking to me.....I would expect more from a coworker of 10+ years and can't believe he said what he said. Placed takeout order for a calzone. I am a calzone NUT!! Love a good one! Was not disappointed here (Pinetop location). Order was ready on time, as promised. Veggies were very fresh. Pepperoni and sausage were good, although I prefer more spicy flavor. Crust was good, but I wish it was crispier. Only complaint: it only comes with a couple tablespoons of marinara. Should come with twice that amount in my opinion. My personal preferences should not be construed as negative here though! Next time I'll request a crispier crust, and an extra cup of marinara. Family had a real nice dinner. Up here for the weekend, and Daughter wanted to go out. Most importantly, our 1 year old grandson loved the mac & cheese. I had the Diablo Dip, which is basically a prime rib beef dip. It was really good. Took a slice of pepperoni pizza from my wife. You can really taste the cheese, very good flavor. The pizza crust was just how non-NY pizza crust should be: crisp outside and chewy inside. The interior decoration was as expected for an Italian-American casual food chain. Coming in from a long drive, Southern California, decided on this place for dinner, immediately after we arrived to Pinetop, AZ. The parking lot was pretty packed, which meant it had to be delicious, or everyone decided on the same place, regardless we had take out. The restaurant smelled amazing as we walked in, it was nice & not too dim inside, cute small mom& pops feel to it. The bar was pretty busy with customers waiting on tables as they sipped on there drinks & chatted away. We ordered cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, Buffalo wings, Ravioli, jalapeño poppers, fried zucchini & fried mushrooms. The staff was friendly, from the minute we walked in, waitresses greeted us. The staff at the register were also very friendly & outgoing. The one thing that really stood out & I appreciated, was a table off to the side " Missing Man Table", it had all the touches the table should have & it definitely stood out. Thank you for this nice touch! Finally, we received our food, all was correct, went home, ate---everything was gone within 30 minutes! All the food was delicious, everything I was hoping for. This place is awesome. Some friends of ours eat here every time they are in Pinetop, and they have never had a bad experience. It is popular in the evenings, so there's a good chance you will have to wait for a table. Because we had a large group we called ahead. They don't take reservations but they advised us that it usually starts getting really busy around 6, so if we showed up by 5:45 that would shorten our wait time. And it worked - we were able to get a table almost right away! Our server was absolutely amazing. Since I have only been here once I can't speak to service in general, but ours was pulled off flawlessly. We were never wanting for refills on our drinks or bread, our salads came out quickly and at a good pace before the food, and she split the bill amongst the different families without a single mistake. And when our friend's two-year old started getting fussy because he was hungry, she brought out his spaghetti dinner early so he could start eating. They were very busy and we never felt like the service was slow or lacking. The pizza is absolutely delicious. And they have 10" pizzas which are really more of a personal pizza, so if your party can't agree on what type of pizza to get they can just get their own. The Greek and Caesar salads are also tasty, and large enough to split amongst two or three people if you're getting a meal too.
