Great food and great service. Arrived right at 6:30 had a bit of a wait but sat quickly and greeted by Doherty at our table. Started with an order of hush puppies, pipping hot and with a green chili honey butter!!! Hubs got the smothered chicken dinner and a side of red beans & rice. I got the shrimp and grits.... The food is some of my favorite. The gumbo is the best I've ever had. The bartenders and the servers that aren't managers are wonderful. I took a date there Wednesday night. It was our second date. We walked in around 8:35. There was no host, so we walked towards the bar. The manager on duty, an overweight effeminate male just walked up & said, "we're closing in 30 minute" in a way that sounded like we'd have to leave the restaurant by then & we might as well just go. There was no "hello", no greeting, just a signal that we weren't welcome. I said, "we'll get appetizers here & our entrees to-go?" He said "you may do that." So we did. The bartender served us & was wonderful. He has a great memory. They brought back the blackberry bread pudding, which is my favorite. It's perfect, but don't expect the effeminate manager with the burr haircut to be hospitable or to serve you well. read more

Let me tell you this place is so appealing to the eye, can't even express how fancy and lively it was in there. We went on a weekday where it wasn't so busy, having seeing a post about this place me and my boyfriend decided to try it. I got the shrimp étouffée while my boyfriend got a juicy medium rare steak burger both was very flavorful with nice consistency. The service was nice and very friendly! They had a bar section with a perfect outing for friends or family! The booths were comfy and it felt warm in there! Would totally recommend this place if you haven't gone yet! Food was alright, there were some standouts, the asparagus mainly. It can be good with some more seasonings. The drinks were not good for the price. I sent mine back and kept my husband's although he didn't like it. Felt bad to return both. Our waitress was attentive. The front desk was tiny with 2 hostesses who barely acknowledged on entrance and nothing on exit. Probably wouldn't return. read more

Seriously difficult to know where to start- but I'm starting at the end of the meal because the bananas Foster's is literally life changing. If you are just wanting something sweet, consider visiting for just the BF. If you are looking for a full meal then try any of their favorites. The seafood sauce is amazing and adds to any dish. The appetizers are hard to pick one as the stand out, but definitely worth trying as well. I'm working my way down the menu and have yet to find something that isn't repeat worthy. read more

We were excited to try Red Door Grille as the reviews were good. Our experience was different. Our assigned waitstaff , when he finally came, was disengaged and disinterested in what we wanted to order. Luckily another waiter got our drink and appetizer order so we didn't have to wait on him. The food came out slightly warm with the green beans on two orders cold. Our waiter seemed put out about the complaints. He did have the chef remake the dish and put it in a to go box. We were planning on trying a dessert but couldn't get the waiter to keep drinks filled so needless to say he didn't ask about us wanting dessert. We probably won't be back as there are other tasty places for Cajun food in Tulsa. read more

Arrived here on a Friday, 2:30, plenty of parking. Immediately greeted by hostess and waitress Ashley. Very pleasant and attentive. Soft jazz playing in the background. Art work on the walls was fun to look at. We sat in a booth and perused the menu. Not a very big beer/wine list. I got the Marshalls Big Jamoke Stout ($6). She got the Barefoot Chardonnay ($7). She got the entree Brisket Au Jus with mashed red potatoes and green beans $21). I got the sandwich Brisket Open Face which comes with cole slaw, but I substitued french fries ($14 plus a $2 upcharge for the fries). Both meals were very good. I got plenty of fries but they were excellent. We got the Blackberry Bread Pudding for dessert ($10). It was not crowded. They had only been open one week. We'll be back. read more

Outstanding customer service!!! The food came out hot and looked delicious! The environment was welcoming and the pictures on the walls sparked great table discussions. As far as taste...there are some minor adjustments that would kick this place up a notch or out of the solar system. The burger was too salty! Its patty was shaped perfectly as if a mold was used or it was purchased frozen. I say purchased because at first bite it reminded me of a school hamburger l...just a thicker. As I ate it, the salt intensified. I like the toasted buns. Actually, I loved it. As for the fries, I prefer hand cut over battered frozen fries. The wings also were salty. While eating them I couldn't help but think that these tasted like Walmart windings. If you having had Walmarts fried chicken wings, go try one and then try the wings here and see if I'm wrong. The difference is that the cook sprinkled additional seasoning salt on the wings making it even more salty. If it hadn't been for the excellent customer service, I probably wouldn't return...but seeing that the restaurant is relatively new, I'll be back to support local one last time and update on the experience. read more

Amazing service by Angel. He was great, upbeat and impressive service. The food was yummy and perfect for a relaxing dinner.

First of all the service was terrible here. My party of 5 all ordered cocktails and it took nearly 30-40 minutes to get them with a not even full house. The bartender was behind the bar just chatting with other workers. Secondly, the food is atrocious. My etouffee was so thick and syrupy. It was just so full of some type of thickening agent and was terrible. It felt like it had been sitting out for days and they just reheated it in the microwave. More importantly though it was unbearable to eat. It tasted like they dumped a pound of salt in it. I had to go home and chug a bottle of water because it was so salty. I do not recommend this place. If you want to eat good Cajun food there are better places in Tulsa. read more

We eat out a lot. My wife and I, and "we" as a family. We eat out at least twice a week and really enjoy local cuisine. We were excited to try Red Door Grille for the first time. Side note: we have walked out of two restaurants in this town. The first was Chamber and the second was Red Door Grille,, last night. Let me explain. In 50 years and probably 5,000 restaurants, we have never had the following happen: we came in and were greeted and seated promptly in a booth to the right of the entrance. The booth was comfortable - the atmosphere, lively and casual. We were brought silverware and water and menus. As we discussed appetizer and drink options, an employee came to our table: "sorry, you were seated at the wrong table, I'm going to need to move you." Not: "is it ok?" "I'm going to need to move you, come with me." Rather than make a fuss, we got up and were moved to a TINY straight-backed two person (barely) booth by the kitchen. And by tiny and straight-backed...think Spirit airlines. It was literally the most uncomfortable dining seating we'd ever experienced. After sitting there for a few, we left. We went to Bistro South and had a terrific meal at a grown up sized table. Bottom line: if you seat someone, you should never move them after they have their menus. A new restaurant for me, starting off with a nice bright red door! The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The menu had a variety of good selections. Good service but left hungry. 1. Shrimp and grits were tasteless. 2. The blackened red fish was again tasteless and dry, the shrimp was rubbery, and the mash potatoes were room temperature. 3. The aviator drink was up there in price and small on size and not there on flavor, the bees knees was again $12 and maybe 3 drinks in size and ok taste, had the $7 margarita.
