Going here was not by my choice. I hate chain restaurants. A Sunday afternoon (1/21/18). A party of 10, and we called ahead. Waited 15-20 minutes until we were seated - in a room full of EMPTY tables and booths! Appetizers took forever to come out, and then after everyone else had finished theirs, I had to ASK where mine were (hint: if you want buffalo wings, go next door). I asked three times for a drink refill - never got it. My son got dirty silverware. Sub-par service (SLOW!). Sub-par over-priced food. Won't be back. Wouldn't recomend. read more

Went here after they announced a new menu with more lobster. Very pleased. The lobster linguini is fantastic. Other menu items were also good but you can't beat the taste or price of the linguini. Descent service and clean. I eat here when in town for business when I want seafood. read more

I'm very pissed off with this restaurant, we called to make a reservation not knowing they don't do it, they told us, call when you are on your way to the restaurant and we'll move you to the top of our list so we called on the day and they said oh we're not doing that anymore for the night, and they told us they had a 2 hour wait. read more

6/16/2019. Went to Red Lobster to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Things did not start out well as we checked in, gave them our name and waited a long time. I realized that families who came in after us were getting tables and we were still left standing. Checking with the host, who informed us he was not a host we discover that are name was somehow not on the list! After telling him I was going to have an old lady melt down he managed to find a table within a few minutes. After getting a table and server we were informed there was no hot coffee at this time but would bring some out when it was available. He brought biscuits. We asked for napkins and were told none were available!!!! really how can they have no napkins, impossible you say. Well they had no silverware and we were given plastic silverware, kind for takeout that break in a heartbeat. Waiter was obviously having a bad night as he brought one order that was ours but the others was totally wrong. thus one person had their food and rest of us sit there and stared at the plastic silverware for 10-15 minutes. At least when our food arrived it was correct but one of us had almost finished eating, who wants to eat cold seafood. No offer of drink refills, offered but check arrived just about at the same time as our food. We had to wait forever for him to pick up our credit card we were totally done and had to linger for our credit card to be returned. This was my first visit to Red Lobster and I dont believe I will repeat the experience again. Horrible service. Went to the bar to wait for my date to arrive. Apparently bothered the bartender when I sat down for a drink, while on the clock employees sat in a booth and held loud personal conversations behind me. The drink was horrible. The place has gone down hill. Service was terrible. I am not sure if she was new or just overwhelmed. We wait for service and had plenty of time to look over the menu. We ordered when she gave us attention. Took the order. Our drinks came. We waited for biscuits. When our salad came we let her know we did not have utensils. But hastily told it would be a minute. And proceeded to take the order of the next table. Our appetizer has a shrimp tail in it( it was mozzarella sticks and chicken strips). The utensils were spotty, The food came and I needed a refill of my drinks she took my glass and she served another table food before bringing back my drink. We were done and had food to take home we waited for containers and check then asked for a bag to put it in and she had someone else bring it to me. Amazing experience! I was with my parents a few nights ago for dinner and we received stellar service from our waitress Cumanda. It is evident that she absolutely LOVES her job. We also met the GM, Mike N who started as a server directly after college. He takes such great care of the restaurant. It was clean and our food was delicious. In fact, I thought it was better than Legal Seafoods in Boston. Cumanda brought us extra cheese biscuits and she helped my father out the door with his walker. This was the first time back to Red Lobster in a few years. We were all pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious! My lobster tail was best I've tasted in a long time. Our portions were generous and our waiter was very attentive. I don't mind paying a little more for a exceptional meal. read more

I live in Rhode Island, where there are no Red Lobsters, but I see commercials all the time for them. My man and I went to a concert in Waterbury, and upon trying to decide where to go for dinner, I realized hey, we're in Connecticut, let's take this chance to check out a Red Lobster. I don't think the service could have been any slower. It took 20 MINUTES for one beer and one mixed drink. It took HALF AN HOUR to get two cups of chowder. The waitress never apologized for the long waits, never explained why we had to wait so long. I was just about ready to ask if they were in the kitchen shucking the clams. Also, the waitress brought our salads a little before we finished the soup, and when we were ready to eat them, we realized.... we had no silverware at all. After a few minutes we were able to get her attention so we could get some. Eventually the entrees came, and they were delicious. The coconut shrimp was outstanding. Overall, I was so, so disappointed. I had been so excited to try Red Lobster, and the longer I waited, the more that excitement died. read more

My daughter and I stopped in late tonight, Saturday night, and ate in the bar. We met again Marcela S. she was working both the bar and the seating area around it. Marcela is our favorite, she is beautiful, articulate, attentive and really made our experience fantastic. Our food was exactly as ordered, the drinks were on time and refilled without delay. We observed Marcella working so hard, taking care of the drink ordered yet attentive to her own tables. It was a great dinner, fun experience and we adore our server. I have tried many times in the past to order takeout from this place, and every time I got placed on perpetual hold and ended up ordering elsewhere. I even called and asked to speak to a manager, and nothing changed. They probably lost at least 50 meals from me over the last 3 years because I stopped trying. Not a big deal for them I guess, but I wonder how many other people have done the same. Then, a few months ago they finally got on-line ordering. I gave it a try. Amazingly, the food was ready for pick up on time and was good. I was shocked based on my previous experiences with this place. I again ordered online a couple weeks later when I was in the area on business again, and the same result! Amazing! If they keep it up, I will keep ordering. read more

Service is great, our waitress was very sweet and thorough. We were seated quickly on a fri night. Place is filthy dirty. Look around . All I could do was try not to think about how the kitchen might look. I was with a friend and didn't want to ruin the evening so I kept quiet. I will never go there again though. read more

The food was just OK. I ordered the grilled lobster, shrimp and scallops. It comes with broccoli and is served over rice pilaf. I didn't use any (extra) butter but I'm sure all of the seafood was cooked in butter. I agree with the other reviewer, they use a lot of salt. Overall, the dinner was nothing to rave about. They do offer some pretty good cocktails and desserts though... I've had lobster that was far better, but of course, other restaurants charge about 50.00 for loster tail (or more) and red lobster charged less than $30.00 for most of its lobster dishes. I think the food is overpriced for the quality. Service was good. We will most likely not return due to the quality of the food and the greasy salty way in which it is prepared. I hadn't been to a Red Lobster in probably ten years and I don't expect to go back for another ten...good thing we were in good company or the night wouldn't have been too great. read more

Came here last night with a friend. We had a great time with our waitress, April C. She was extremely friendly and very outgoing. She made our experience wonderful. The restaurant was a bit empty when we went, it was around 8pm so there were no wait times which was really good. The biscuits tasted very fresh and April just kept them coming! Our food came very quickly too. I ordered the Cajun chicken alfredo linguini and it was delicious. Just the right amount of spicy. Would definitely recommend trying it out. Don't expect the "King Crab" in Crabfest to be at all like the large king crab served in high end seafood places. Red Lobster king crab leg is more akin to snow crab. read more

I haven't been to Red Lobster in such a long time, but I love their cheddar biscuits so my boyfriend and I decided to go for dinner. Per usual the biscuits were amazing. My boyfriend and I ordered the Ultimate Feast which was not a disappointment. For a reasonable price we got, crab legs, fried shrimp, shrimp scampi and a lobster tail, all cooked perfectly and tasted great. I was hesitant to come here due to the low scores, but I had a good experience last time I came, and this visit was even better. My parents and I got the endless shrimp, and our waiter was very helpful. Sometimes waiters can be stingy on specials like this, but our waiter made sure the shrimp kept coming and it was a great experience. read more

I am new to town and my boyfriend and I wanted to try this Red Lobster location last night as the one in my town is usually really good. After we walked in, we stood at the hostess desk for about 4-5 minutes, without being acknowledged. There were 3 employees that walked right past us and looked us in the eyes. Each one just kept on going and did NOT even smile or say hi. I don't expect special treatment, but at least acknowledge us or grab someone who can help us. They place was empty as well, so not sure where they were all rushing to. After we waited, we decided we'd take our business elsewhere. As we were walking out the door, one of the waiters who had seen us moments before decided to finally ask us if "we were all set." We were already disappointed in Red Lobster service. We went next door to Olive Garden and racked up a good bill and left a very generous tip. At least their employees were very friendly and we enjoyed a great dinner and drinks! read more

My wife and I have been to other Red Lobsters and have NEVER been treated this bad!!!!!. We entered this red lobster and as we were walking to the table, my wife asked this young woman who was seating us where the restroom was. She disgustedly said " in the back " and promptly tossed the menus on the table and left . After waiting at the table for about 10 minutes the waiter finally came over and asked if we wanted a drink. We placed our drink order . I have been getting over and upper respiratory infection and there's no way anyone in that place could not hear me cough, yet after 15 minutes we still had nothing to drink, not even water . Never in my life have I been to a restaurant and got this bad service. We decided at that point to leave. The kicker of it all, as we were walking out quite heatedly discussing the horrible service, the door staff told us to have a nice night !!!! This is one place I will never come back to, and will make sure everyone I know never comes to the place at all !!!!!! Stay Away from here !!!!!!!!!!! read more
