Very disappointed this visit. My girlfriend and I got seated and waited 10 minutes before our waitress arrived. Another 10 minutes for bread and drinks. Ordered an appetizer and it arrived at the same time as our meals. She ordered the bacon potato soup and it looked like they just opened a can of soup and poured it into the bowl. No cheese and a very tiny piece of bacon. Tasted like it wasn't seasoned. I ordered all you can eat shrimp and waited 15 minutes between orders, and they only let you put one in at a time. This Dead Lobster isn't any shittier than any other Dead Lobster in America. High end seafood fast food. Better than Long John Silvers but dressed up to be more than it is. Caesar salads are pretty good. Liquid butter is always a bonus no matter what you are eating. Servers try and push all the appetizers and desserts on you like any other grubby chain place. Came in here Monday night. I have never been in a Red Lobster before except for once as a child and I don't remember a thing about it. Came in for dinner with a co worker who said he comes here a lot with his family and they do birthdays here because it's their favorite restaurant. I liked everything about it. The food was great and our waitress so nice and cheerful. I had coconut shrimp, which is the bomb, and we split the stuffed mushrooms. They are so addicting, but not as much as the little biscuits that come with the meal. I want me some more of that. I asked for a sangria from the bar, which was very good. My friend had lobster and a Sam Adams and he recommended I try the lobster next time. I will. Too bad he wouldn't let me even have a bite. I will be back. read more

My grandma treated me here for my birthday recently. The food was really good but for the price, the portions are tiny. For 4 people it was around $100 and a $25 meal should have been more than a tiny plate. The server was awesome and made the wrongs right and the experience excellent. read more

Came in for a late lunch, server was very inefficient bringing 1 thing at a time and then needing to be reminded of other requests. There were only 4 other tables in the place at the same time and took about 30min to get our food after we were finished with our salads. I seriously have not been to Red Lobster in more than 20 years. I just kind of brushed it off as not a place for good seafood. On this visit we patiently waited 40 minutes at 6pm for our seats. First impression was that the food must be good here because this place is packed. Our waiter had our drink order and salad order taken and quickly brought us our drinks with salads and their famous Cheddar Bay biscuits. Those bi suits are reason enough for another visit to Red Lobster. Buttery and delicious!! I ordered the shrimp scampi and the coconut shrimp. Everyones entree came almost as soon as we were finished with our salads. I was pleasantly surprised how many shrimp you recieve.Our waiter was constantly refilling drinks and bringing anything we needed. I really was surprised at how good my meal was. I went there for my birthday. Their were cob webs on the window seal. It was during the all you can eat shrimp fest. My dad ordered a lobster tail that they didn't bring out. The female who brought it out had a nasty attitude! I ordered the new salad and it tasted like straight vinegar. my food was not good. It was so dusty in there. I was so excited to go to red lobster until we got there. We were not friendly greeted by hostess. Then we were seated. We watched waiters all around us but no one came to our table. A young couple that came in after us got their order taken. We sat there for 21 mins.we got there at 2:40 not busy. We usually tip 50 -100 percent of bill. I guess they didn't want our money. Very upset with the service or in my case lack of service. Never will go back to be treated poorly. Used to be a nice place to go but today was full of young unprofessional people. One waitress overheard my conversation to manager and she showed the hostesses that they seated us 21 mins.ago. but they new that because the one hostess kept looking at us in the dining room. Garlic shrimp scampi was really good the the shrimp skewers tasted like gas and was over cooked

I brought home dinner. I went in ordered take out around 9:15 pm. I had to ask the bar tender twice for my drink while I was waiting. When I arrived back home at 10:15 pm the shrimp was soggy, the biscuits were cold. I found a lettuce core in my salad. There was no tarter or cocktail sauce for the fish or shrimp. My husband and I ate dinner here a few hours ago around 8:30pm. The only good thing I have to say about our whole experience is the bartender knows how to make a good drink. Everything else was terrible and we spent $100 including tip. The hostesses rolled their eyes as we walked in and didn't say hello just grabbed our menus and said "two". She showed us to our seats where the cold air was blowing and I asked if we could move down farther, she huffed and looked around the almost empty room (three other families were there) like it was a huge ordeal. I said never mind here is fine. I kept my winter jacket on until our food came. The food was cold and looked like it was set out for a long time, and my husband's crab was SOGGY..yes the SHELL. Our waitress ran the sweeper next to us as we were eating, and I overheard another patron exclaim it was too cold in there as well when they were being seated...right behind us in an almost empty restaurant. I don't know who ran that shift or hires those employees, but you can thank them for ruining Red Lobster for Flint! And yes we asked for a manager, we waited and my husband was getting to the point where he was going to start yelling and not pay (which we shouldn't have) but we did and left the waitress a $20 tip. Not mad at the whole place but every staff member but 1 I encountered was rude, starting with the host. Waited 25 minutes for a table only to be half-greeted by Matt (whose name I learned from another server), who never asked how we were or how the food was, never brought the next beer he offered or my water, and still hadn't even peeked at his 2 tables (in his 4 table section) 35 minutes later. My boyfriend got our bill from the manager who took my dry, undercooked steak off, not that I was even given the chance to complain about it because our server NEVER came back. Another table sat behind us for 20+ minutes before a different server noticed Matt hadn't been with them. My boyfriend & I are both in the industry so I try to understand the struggle but it's Monday and we're 1 of your 2 sat tables, where did you go for over half an hour?! If I could give this 0 stars I would. Let me start by saying I have been going to this restaurant for decades, and has always been one of my family's favorite places to eat. They have gotten pricey over the years, but the food and generally the service is worth it. Last night we ordered a take out order around 9:00. We walked in to pick it up and was greeted by a group of employees joking around, and overheard a comment that ended with "mother ******* gunna go home and cut up his bed sheets", which is an obvious racist comment regardless of who it was aimed towards. Very off putting, but whatever, wasn't going to ruin my food. Got out order which came to just shy of 70$, which for a family of 4 is a pretty expensive meal for takeout, but again, usually worth it. The waitress went through my order and was very nice. I then asked her if the coconut sauce for the coconut shrimp that I ordered was in the bag. She confirmed that it was in the bag along with other condiments. Got home about 15 minutes later to find no sauce in the bag whatsoever. Add to that the biscuits were about half the normal size and burnt. I could of lived without the biscuits, but without the sauce, the meal was pretty much ruined for me. I called to ask the manager the next morning, as I didn't want to go all the way back just to have my food cold by the time I got home, and I would have probably made a fool of myself by how angry I was. The only thing they were willing to do is replace my meal if I came back up today, which is not possible for me. Should of bought 20$ worth of pizza around the corner instead of wasted more than triple that on food I couldn't eat. Very upset that I have to boycott one of my favorite places to eat, just because they can't run like a normal business. Perhaps this is the reason they struggle as a company to stay afloat. More than likely won't be in business much longer with this type of treatment of their most loyal customers. read more

Visited the restaurant and three of the four of us ordered the fish and chips because we had ordered them three weeks earlier and they were fantastic, but not this time. They were terrible! While the outside was nice and crisp, the inside was soggy and the batter was uncooked. It was like a totally different fish this time. Also we noticed that the biscuits and fish were extremely greasy. One good note was the cold slaw. it was fresh and crisp. Very disappointed in the whole meal. read more

My first bad experience in all the years I've been dining here. I thought it'd be a good time to stop and eat on my way home from a long road trip. Hadn't dined here for over 10 years. Now I know why. First off, I ordered a Pina Colada. This was my favorite place to order this drink. They were always so tasty. BUT, this one was NOT! I took one sip and I tasted like Cinnamon or some kind of spice like that. I told the waiter that the bartender must have used spice rum and that a Pina Colada has no spices in it. The waiter returned and told me that's the only kind of rum they have is a spiced rum. OMG, are you kidding me?! Ok, cancel the drink. Then, I took about 4 bites of my Cole slaw when I found something that didn't belong. The hostess came over and said it looked like a crouton. It was puffed up and odd looking. To me, it resembled more of a "loogie" than a crouton. So cancel the Cole slaw. So far I was 0 for 2 and didn't want to take a chance with dinner so I told the hostess what all happened and that I'm leaving. I guess all them years of good service and good food with tasty Pina Coladas are over. I won't be back. read more

My husband and I stopped on our travels today for lunch. We hadn't been to a Red Lobster in years. I got the garlic shrimp scampi and and my husband got the shrimp salad and bowl of clam chowder. Tasty and of course the cheesy biscuits complemented the meal. Our server was friendly and efficient. Overall, a solid meal for the price. read more

On December 12, 2013 my father took my wife and me to The Persion Rd. Red Lobster. My wife and me had The Catch of the day Grilled Salmon. The salads were very good with the blueberry vinaigrette dressing. When the Salmon arrived we were kind of disappointed. It was not up to the standard we have enjoyed in the past. The texture and taste were poor. We ate it anyways and that was big mistake. My father has fried shrimp and took what was left over home. He his fine. That evening my wife became very ill with vomiting and diarrhea all night. I stayed up with her all night. I almost took her to the ER. The next morning I fixed her some toast and she was able to keep it down. Then the same thing happened to me. She had to administer a drug to stop my vomiting. The only thing I can say WE WERE FOOD POISENED! at this Red Lobster. How can I say that? My wife is a nurse practitioner and my endocrinologist confirmed it. I am now waiting to see the report from the Genesee County Health Dept. read more
