I have eaten at this Red Lobster for over 10 years and in that time the food itself has not really improved or changed. It is mostly what you would expect from a large chain type restaurant with the food being noticeably bulk generated with premade items. With the shrimp being I think their shining jewel, the Lobster is always insanely overcooked and almost inedible no matter how you get it cooked. AS far as their pasta dishes go, other than like the shrimp or crab alfredo anything else seems like its pasta in a bowl covered in a premade glob of scampi butter than just allowed to melt. The top 3/4 is just dry flavorless pasta with the bottom soaked in fat. Just feels rushed. Having been going here for a while I have learned how to manipulate my food from the normal to make it enjoyable, but if you are unaware of how or what to expect then prepare for a mediocre experience. Cheddar bay biscuits are on point though, when you can get them brought to you more than once. The all you can eat specials are usually pretty decent with new items as they seem actually prepared except for the crab which really just feels frozen and old and is usually dried out and overcooked. Most of the appetizers are very good like the lobster pizza and dip, and the desserts are fantastic, as well as the chicken dishes. If you want seafood, there are better places to go, but for convenience and knowing what to expect I continue to go. read more

My child wanted nachos. He also wanted the popcorn shrimp. I said "you can only get one thing from the menu please." So he asked the server if he could order the nachos with the shrimp on the side AND if the shrimp on the side could be changed to popcorn shrimp. Guess what, they said yes! If you want an adequate meal Red Lobster will do. The service tonight was good. I had a three shrimp platter. The shrimp were as small as any I've seen in a restaurant. The Shrimp in Alfredo sauce was basically pasta paste with mini-shrimp. Blah. My wife enjoyed her selection. We only went because friends gave us a gift card. We won't be back. When going to a place like Red Lobster, set your expectations correctly and you'll be happy. We live in the middle of the country, so we can't expect to get this super fresh all kinds of local sea food. We are only going to get mass fished/farmed sea food that is prepared in way designed to please a large seafood eating portion of our population. Nothing to exciting, nothing to special. With this expectations set, we go to Red Lobster and we rarely if ever go away disappointed. This time was no different, we got good prompt service, they have a good selection of beers (including Sam Adams seasonals, and Guinness), and their seafood is as fresh as can be expected 1000 miles away from the ocean. Both the wife and I got the Snow Crab & Roasted Garlic Seafood Bake. Plenty of crab and shrimp, but only 2 scallops - bummer. Was cooked right, the crab wasn't over done and mushy. Again, we have reasonable expectations on the food, and normal expectations on the service and the several times we have been to this Red Lobster they have all been meet. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather be sitting down on a restaurant in the Gulf some place eating some fresh Gulf shrimp or what ever is fresh, or out on Pier 39 getting some dungeness crab and clam chowder or where ever I can see and smell the ocean eating what was swimming just hours ago.... but I can't do that in Colorado so I go to Red Lobster and get reasonably good generic seafood. read more

Well priced lunch menu, quick and pleasant service and a satisfying meal all happened today at this Red Lobster. I met 2 friends for lunch here today and although Red Lobster is hardly on the top of my list when it comes to seafood, I was happy with todays experience. Don't order delivery at this location! I placed my order online at 10 AM and somehow they couldn't have it ready by 2:15 PM. And they couldn't even bother to let me know that my food was going to be late. When I called to complain the manager said they got busy preparing food that was ordered after mine so they weren't able to get mine done on time. I like reb lobster. I am not big on seafood but they have a variety there that accomidates everyone. The two downsides is my boyfriend knows every server we have gotten. And two the hostess. We were disappointed with Red Lobster tonight. We were on the waitlist and it was a five minute wait. However, when we got there it was now a 20 minute wait and we had to go sit in their car until they sent us a text. When we finally sat down to eat we looked at the menu and the prices were ridiculously high. My wife ordered one of their platters that was now almost $40 and I just ordered fish and chips. My meal came with one piece of fish and a small plate of french fries. Now, to be fair, they did offer coleslaw as well, but I am not a coleslaw fan. When I commented on receiving only one piece of fish, they said that's the way comes and said it's quality why they charge so much for such a small portioned meal. My wife's lobster was over cooked as well. We finished up our dinner and left. We probably won't go back. I really like Red Lobster generally although I know it's not the best quality food or anything. But at this particular location, I've asked to make the shrimp pasta into cajun shrimp pasta on two separate occasions, and both times they forgot and brought the cajun spice out separately afterwards. But I thought maybe it was the lobster tank or something. The booth we were sat in was broken and the walls were not very clean. Once the food got to our table so did two fruit flies... Someone needs to go into this store and kick some serious ass. I am so pissed off with how BAD the kitchen and front of house work together in this store. We took my grandson (6) to the restaurant because he loves seafood. We got seated after waiting about 10 minutes. Once seated we ordered 2 Margarita's & a lemonade it took 15 minutes for these to arrive. About 15 minutes later the waitress asks for our orders. My daughter asks if the Ultimate Feast has rice because my grandson does not eat rice but he would like to have fries instead. She says there is no rice so we say ok he would like fries and a side of coleslaw. My daughter and I order 1/2 lobster alfredo and she says we can substitute the side salad for lobster bisque cup instead. I ask for grilled shrimp as an add on. 20 minutes the waitress comes back and asks us what we would like to drink so that she does not have to interrupt us before our dinner arrives. I ask her Don't you have those cheese biscuits anymore? She says they come when the salad comes. I say oh well we did not order a salad. But we go ahead and place a second drink order, which she brings out about 10 minutes later. Finally, our food comes out. All they bring out is my grandson's Ultimate feast and my daughter and I each get our 1/2 plates of alfredo BUT I get crab and she gets lobster. And there is NO shrimp. In the meantime, my grandson cannot get to his crab because he has no claw tools. Finally, after about 10 minutes the waitress comes back. She goes to fetch him a crab cracker. I am flipping ready to get up and say something, but because my 6-year-old grandson is with us my daughter says mom lets just eat and go. But I ask the waitress - where are our soups - where is my grandson's salad - where is my shrimp and where are the cheesy biscuits. She says it's her fault she forgot to add my shrimp to my order and she disappears we had already gone through 1/2 of our food when they bring out our bisque and my grandson's salad and biscuits and about 10 minutes later they bring out my shrimp. THIS IS MESSED UP. What really made me angry is my grandson got RICE with his Ultimate Feast and NO FRIES. I am very disappointed and it's not like we were asking for a favor we just wanted a nice dinner. Honestly dinner last night was a terrible disappointment and I AM NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. This restaurant is a waste of time.
