Tony asked me on a date, LOL ONLY because he wanted to go to Red Lobster to get some Shrimp...but Hey I wanted some too so I accepted. We got there about 1pm and it was busy but not overly crowded. We were greeted immediately by the Hostess and seated in the back of the restaurant. I always prefer this, I hate to be up in front I always catch a draft from the door. The waitress was very friendly and took our drink order. Tony went with Bud Light Big Draft Beer and I had Unsweetened Tea with Lemon and Lime. We both ordered the same thing, we normally do!!! Or we share but this time we were both greedy and wanted our own platters. Our choice included Butterfly Shrimp, Bay Scallops, Clam Strips and Flounder with Cheddar Bay Biscuits, we both Chose the Broccoli but Tony went with Cole Slaw and I went with the Quinoa Rice. We chatted while we waited on our food, She brought the yummy biscuits and Tony's Cole Slaw which I had to taste it looked so YUMMY, I love the big Shredded Chunky Slaw and it was delicious so He gave me some...YUMMY~~~ While waiting for the rest of the food I used the little monitor on the table and signed up for their Free REWARD Program..Shortly our Food arrived and OMG it looked wonderful. A beautiful Golden Brown Crispy Color and it was so delicious. We both could tell the grease used was clean because it had such a fresh taste to it. The flounder was my favorite but it was all good. I got filled up and had to get a doggie bag which made my leftovers my evening dinner..Total with taxes and tip was only $60 with $7 of it being her tip. My server was excellent kept my tea glass filled, and brought the food promptly. The food was tasty unfortunately I had no room for dessert. I always fill up on their biscuits. I was excited because I haven't been here in a long time and I mean years. It was a Saturday so there were no specials like M-F. I decided to get steak and lobster with broccoli and a loaded bake potato. The waitress was good. She kept our drinks filled and checked in on us. It was freezing in there, and I mean cold. It is sad when it's actually warmer outside than inside the restaurant. Anyways, on to the food. Since I'm older now I know how to cook and what I like. I don't like old broccoli that was like chewing leather. I like to taste the flavor of the meat. My steak was so salty, it was unbelievable that we were at a top dollar restaurant. This Red Lobster just doesn't hit the mark with me. I tried. I really did. I wanted to like them. I generally love Red Lobster. I mean come on, 2 words...Cheddar biscuits. And the jumbo coconut shrimp with the pineapple sauce is the bomb! But I have never had quality food at this location. Maybe they're too far from the sea? The service has always been great, but it's the food that's lacking...dry, overly seasoned or in the case of our veggies...undercooked. For a chain, they sure can get pricey. And this is not exceptional seafood dining. In addition, the place looks a bit ran down and could use a face lift. My opinion? Move on. The waitress was very nice and the area was clean. Ordered Walt's shrimp with baked potato and slaw. Everything was good. i'm more of a sweet slaw person than a vinegar, but over all good. Not a fan! Ordered the burger requesting cajun seasoning however, when it came out the burger was so bland and dry I was unable to eat it. The service was an area they needed to work on as well. It came down to the point I was ready to call the restaurant and ask for my waitress while I was still sitting at my table it had been that long since I had my waitress come to my table. It wasn't even busy in there for there to be an excuse as why it took the waitress so long to get back to my table. The restaurant looks as though it needs scrubbed down and cleaned as it was rather dingy and outdated. Really just seems to be the average Red Lobster. However, our waitress was awesome. She really just had an ability to create a cozy environment. The steak my wife ordered was one of the best steaks we have ever had anywhere!!! I was there mainly for the All you can eat shrimp special. It's a date we have every year. It's expensive, but good. I love the food here and the vibe of Red Lobster could mentally transport me to the beach. The atmosphere is good and my all-time favorite item menu is the coconut shrimp. The sauce is so much better than the sweet chili sauce that most places pair it with. Not to mention the cheddar biscuits, which I could call a meal! read more

I have worked for Red Lobster for years and the food was disgraceful. I've always been a huge fan but now I doubt I'll ever step foot in one again. My salad was odds and ends of old romaine. The cheese was all at the bottom. I ordered a $32 plate and the lobster tail came to the table grey and was upside down. The shrimp was barely warm and the tails were scattered in the butter sauce that was burnt along the edges of the dish. The broccoli was carelessly scattered around with lots of negative space around the dish. We raised our concerns to the manager and she started to argue with us asking, "well, is it missing anything??" But, our concern was the plate temperature, ITS SEAFOOD and I'm pregnant, and the messy presentation. She eventually just scratched the bill and we left, but not without her insisting we just eat the food anyways, despite my concerns. Pitiful. I'm surprised this place is even allowed to be open. The phone started ringing and a couple walked in behind me and the younger girl with short reddish hair walked right to the phone and answered the phone and then proceeded to seat the couple that just walked in the door without saying a word to me. I do not even know how this red lobster stays in business. My friends and I went for lunch one day. I had the pick two lunch. I chose shrimp scampi and wood grilled shrimp. Now the cheddar bat bisciuts are always good and plentiful but other than that it was horrible. The shrimp were so small you needed a magnifying glass to see them. It was very busy the night we stopped in, so maybe they were a bit overwhelmed. The couple across the way from us had numerous issues with their food , the manager came out twice to apologize...not a good sign considering it took much too long to get a glass of water. I decided to get the endless shrimp. A big mistake, due to numerous reasons. First, one of the two shrimp entrees was cold. The second was good and hot. With the endless shrimp they bring you another small sized shrimp order after you finish the first two. Sounds good in theory but not so good if the waitress only comes back once and never returns. The third was the pasta...terrible and tasteless. Basically some cooked shrimp thrown into a tasteless "Alfredo sauce". I would strongly advise against "the endless shrimp" special. I didn't expect it to be great but was hoping the offer was decent, I was very disappointed. The wife got the dragon shrimp and it was very tasty. This is like Outback running out of steak or McDonalds running out of hamburger. You would think the management would know how much stock to order to make it through the weekend.
