Updating My Review! I have returned the Red Lobster at least 4-5 times in the past two months and I am happy to update my review to 5 stars. We have been dining in the bar area and the service was amazing. the food was amazing and the young man (whose name I forgot) who served us and made our drinks restored my faith in Red Lobster. There also seems to be a new manager. i did speak with him to ensure that he acknowledged the great work that the team is doing in the bar area. I have rekindled my relationship with my beloved cheddar bay biscuits and enjoyed the most delicious strawberry spritzer and lobster punch! read more

This place was trash. Pretty empty and everything still took a long time. My wife waited 15 minutes from ordering her beer until she got one. I ordered the unlimited shrimp, was there for almost 2 hours and got 1 refill of 6 shrimp. My wife ordered bbq bacon shrimp, and she got no bacon. We told them about it and our waitress said she would make it right, she brought us a small bowl of bacon bits lol. I will 100% never go back here. Came here for Endless Shrimp last night around 4:30pm for $20pp. We chose to sit at a booth in the main dining area since they didn't have any available in the bar. Brian P. came by about 5 mins after we were seated to take our drink order, & brought us some yummy Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I got the 20oz Blue Moon $9.99 and my husband got a 12oz Voodoo Ranger $8.49 I went with Endless Coconut Shrimp, & Walt's Favorite Shrimp, with a baked potato as my side which was all yummy. Walt's Shrimp were a bit salty for my liking. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits were definitely smaller this time, and also quite salty. My husband enjoyed his Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, Grilled Skewers and Crispy Brussel Sprouts for an extra $3.49. I should probably rethink the Endless Shrimp for $20pp since I can't really eat much more then the first plate, especially with a side. The only problem is I seem to recall their Broccoli being salty, & the Mashed Potatoes probably would be too. Brian P. came by several times to check on us and get us more shrimp. We decided to order our New Year's Eve dinner at Red Lobster. The staff was overwhelmed by the number of online orders, and when we arrived for curbside pickup, there was a whole line of cars! People had been waiting at least an hour for their food. Despite the long wait (it was an hour for us as well), Red Lobster continued doing their best to finish all orders & get them out as quickly as they could. They actually REIMBURSED our entire order due to the inconvenience. The cheddar bay biscuits had the perfect seasoning & texture. The fish in the fish & chips had a nice batter to fish ratio. Such a bummer. New Year's Eve at 4pm. We were the only ones in the lobby as staff walked by several times... took a while for anyone to welcome us but ok, maybe a shift change? Totally wrong entree for mama, hubby's steak was way overcooked and teenager's crab legs were dropped on the floor by staff. I had ordered grilled salmon with crab legs and got salmon with pico de gallo, shrimp and lobster?! They took my dinner and dumped it (what a waste) then brought me my dinner piecemeal. First my crab legs, then some veggies, then finally my salmon, which was raw inside . My husband's medium rare steak had zero pink and was bland. Our poor server reportedly talked to the manager twice but we never saw them. We weren't charged for my raw food and received a 10% discount. $150 (with no alcohol) later and half of us were utterly disappointed. I did not have the best experience during my last visit. It took over 40 minutes to get our food. The waitress kept forgetting our refills and our side dishes. It wasn't very busy on a Monday afternoon so I don't know if the kitchen was short staffed or if there were other factors. This is very interesting writing this review, because i love this restaurant chain. It was date night so my girlfriend and i came in. The services was good , no complaints about the workers. We got our table and began looking at the menu, I did express my disdain for the last time i ordered 1 pound of crab and received less. I normally get 3 order of fries (2 sides , and 1 extra order instead of salad). when my plate got to the table it was not the right serving of fries, as you can see i like fries! When it comes to the crab it did not seem as fresh as all the other previous times i have eaten here. This review is for the prejudice food runner working today around 6:00-7:30pm. My wife and I sat down and ordered the Ultimate Feast and the Grilled Lobster, Shrimp, and Salmon - a large feast for us we were excited to dig into. Our server took our order, after 30 minutes, a white couple sat across from us. Our food still had not came, but that was okay/understandable. The food runner, young woman with long brown hair, came with our food. She put the food down on an empty table, ignored me and my wife - and went straight to the white couple across from us that just sat down and asked them "Is this your order?" The couple said no. She continued to ignore us and not ask us even though we were right there. She took our food and walked back to the kitchen. I understand if she was confused but why would she go straight to asking the white people and not us? We were the only ones there in that section with the white couple. Why not ask the brown couple, and only ask the white couple? We've been seated for over 30 minutes. She came back after several minutes and handed our food - she didn't say a word as she dropped it off. No apologies, not even "enjoy" etc, nothing. But remember, she was cheery to the other white couple right next to us minutes before. At that point, I had lost my appetite. I voiced my concern to our server but I wish I took it to the manager. Prejudice and micro aggressions from that food runner definitely ruined our time there. read more

I finally have learned my lesson. If you want Lobster or good seafood stay AWAY from Red Lobster or at least the one in Pittsburgh. Horribly slow service for a Wednesday night, didn't realize Chickens had nine lives also, my Chicken was as tough as a rubber ball it was inedible, the waiter wanted to bring me more! I said hell no and quite loudly. He then told me to enjoy it!! WTF? The best thing out of all of our entrees was the free bread they gave out. My Mom's Lobster was tough, and the only reason we went there was because she was feeling a bit better from her virus and was craving Lobster. Then to top it off the waiter never checked back we had to wrestle him down for the check, and he was hovering over me with that computer they use to pay and he kept pointing out to me how to leave the fricking tip. I left him a tip, I said don't smoke in bed face down! And not to mention the Men's room had feces all over the toilets and it was extremely dirty. Never again. read more

We ordered food here the other night through door dash and it was pretty disappointing. We had fish and chips which was 2 small pieces of fish which was soaked in grease. The fries were wet and soggy from the condensation in the container. The shrimp scampi was a small sad portion, seriously 4 shrimps. The coleslaw that came with the fish and chips was 3 bites. Not even half of a small container. The cheddar biscuits were dry and just not it. The salmon was okay but they put my salad in with the salmon and Brussel sprouts so it was completely ruined. The side Caesar salad ($2.99 upcharge) was loaded with an odd cheap Parmesan and rock hard croutons. Our baked tiny potatoes were the best thing about this meal at $17.99 for the Fried Shrimp & $14.99 for the Scampi - not worth it. Service was fine but the receipt machine was covered in greasy finger muck, I'd suggest not touching it. Disgusting. We won't be back for their expensive low-quality seafood lunches. Fish dinners start in the $30's, for Red Lobster? Nope. Too many other nice restaurants to choose from at that price point. read more

5 stars for the wait being an hour less than the place next door. Other than that, everything was just ok. Waitress took our drink orders and took too long to come back for our food order. I selected the shrimp 3 ways. The coconut shrimp was a punch of coconut in the face and just too sweet for my taste. The popcorn shrimp tasted frozen. The shrimp scampi was my favorite of the 3. If I return, I will just order that. The shrimp tasted fresh, wasn't over cooked, and had a little kick. The baked potato was cooked properly. People rave about the cheddar biscuits but I don't get the hype. The serve wine at exactly a 6 or 9oz pour, zzzzZZZ. Our food took quite awhile to arrive, as did our check. 3rd time giving this place a try in the past year. Unfortunately the main dish lobster always looks like a dehydrated jumbo shrimp that is 50% blackened. It's been dry and chewy. When asked why it looks that way they say it was on the fire grill.Cant they cook it without the flames getting to it or overcooking it? They offer to do it again but I'm a firm believer in getting it done right the first time. New calamari is terrible, served with nothing but batter and bananas peppers. Bland and needs more. It's just an ok place to go. Nothing great and presentation on those plates looks nothing like the photos. You literally have to look twice to confirm if that is the order you wanted.
