We've actually been to several Red Lobsters, but this one is very good, food was excellent, the service was excellent. The only downside is their parking situation which is not that great and they were very very busy when we arrived on Valentine's Day 2019, with a 1.5 hour wait, we kept telling ourselves it would be worth it, and yes it was but; also knowing that every restaurant in St George on Valentines Day would be super busy. So we hunkered down in the rain, Connie waited inside, with what seemed like a hundred other people in a very small waiting area and I went back and forth from sitting outside underneath a covered porch in pretty comfy chairs but a little chilly to standing inside with her. I've been to a lot of Red Lobsters and I can say that consistency is lacking in the chain. My wife and I drove a couple of hundred miles last Friday to meet relatives and have lunch. The place was clean, and the service was better than most. But my meal was awful. If I hadn't been meeting people, I would have sent the food back to the kitchen. I ordered the Lobster Lover's Dream, which includes two lobster tails and shrimp/lobster linguine, as well as a side (in my case broccoli). The lobster was over done to the point of being tough, and it was barely warm. I suspect the food was under a heat lamp for some time before we were even in the restaurant. The linguine was watery, and so was the drawn butter. I suspect the "butter" was in fact something else. The broccoli (how can you mess up broccoli?) was scraps from the bottom of a pan and had black ends denoting that it was old enough to be going bad. The bill for four people was $113 and change, which is what I would expect for a decent meal at Red Lobster. I have to wonder if the wait staff is trained to look at the food they serve. The young lady waiting on us was friendly and charming, but it is her responsibility to see that the food served is to standards. We arrived just a bit before the noon hour for a quick brunch while in St. George. Due to its location, I've seen parking here a bit tough to find but parking was no problem at this time. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately at a table rather than a booth (requested). Our server, Jenn, arrived in short order introducing herself and letting us know of the specials going on at that time. After reviewing some of the lunch items and specials, she returned with our drinks a few minutes later. Jenn was amazing and very friendly. She returned to check on us from time to time and kept our drink glasses full. After ordering, our food was delivered approximately 12-15 minutes later. The food was very hot and was very good! Personally, I chose the Petite Red Lobster Roll and Fries and it was fantastic. Two rolls with a generous amount of lobster meat but the roll, awesome! Fries were hot (enough I needed to let them cool a bit) and the serving size was just right. I think this is now a new favorite of mine. My wife chose a chicken dish and she loved it as well. Jenn made our visit very pleasurable and she was simply great. It's a tough job but she took pride in her work and greeted us with a smile and was very accommodating. The table and area were clean and the other staff we interacted with were also very nice. I did notice an elderly gentleman eating a few tables away and staff treated him very well. So, not only did we get great service here, we observed it as well. I did see the Manager walk through a few times inspecting tables and overseeing the operation. We went to the St George Location on a Friday at 5:15 PM. The problem began the young man who took our name did not ask for the information needed. We were told it would be about 1/2 hr. After 1 hrI inquired at the check in desk and determined that the young man had not entered us into the waiting list. We were seated at a booth and our waitress contacted us after being seated for 15mins. We gave her our drink order. After another 20 mins we got our drinks. We then ordered our food. I ordered a fish and chips meal. In about 45 mins the food finally came. I had one piece f cod that was taken off the back of the fish. It was 1/4 inch thick and clearly overcooked. We skipped lunch and were very hungry, but waiter forgot to bring us our appetizer. Jade the manager made it right! We eat out often and this will stay with us. Sirloin and shrimp was delicious, thought the shrimp are a bit lean. Sirloin seasoning was fantastic. Mashed potatoes were very good, they may have a dash of cream in them. Green beans were plentiful and fresh. Salmon was flaky and seasoned evenly. Broccoli was fresh. The rolls, what can I say? You already know. They are a delicacy for the rest of us! Has really gone downhill... Service was poor, they've taken our favorite appetizer off which were the sweet chili shrimp, waitress didn't even know they had been removed from the menu. Said that the new replacement was essentially the same thing, not close or nearly as good. Ordered our regular oh, the Parrot Bay coconut shrimp. They've gone too much smaller and thinner shrimp, and these were substantially over-cooked, tough to bite and chew. The last time we went was a marginal, this time was just plain bad. The food was decent, probably deserves more like a 3.5 star rating. But the whole customer experience was HORRIFIC!!!!!!! There was an out of control customer, screaming and shouting profanities, being loud and belligerently drunk, and staff brings the table more alcohol-shots! And then the lady starts going crazy and going off about who knows what. And since we are out for a late family dinner with my 5 year old, we asked her to please be mindful of children ears...(staff hasn't asked them to keep things down at all) and that set her off and she went from being a loud drunk to being an enraged drunk, rude, disrespectful ignorant woman. Who WAS VERBALLY ATTACKING MY 5 YR OLD FOR BEING "white" and privileged??! We did not engage or provoke the situation, just sat and let her go off ***The fact that the staff took more than 45 minutes to get her out the restaurant is absolutely APPALLING! During that time and she continued to yell and verbally attack our whole table, and a CHILD! It's really disappointing that the staff and management would allow that to continue for over an hour. This only deserves 1 star because my coconut shrimp was really good. We came here for my dad's birthday...It took our waiter 15 minutes to come over and introduce himself and take our drink order and we made him take our food order too because we knew what we wanted. 10 minutes later, he brought our drinks and salads at the same time. All of the salads were under dressed... there was literally no dressing on them and the lettuce in the Caeser salad was brown. And we had to ask to get the cheddar bay biscuits. We weren't even 3 bites into our salads when he brought out the soup and biscuits. He only brought 3 biscuits for the 4 of us. So our soups got cold while we ate our salad... We only had a few spoonfuls of soup and we're done because they were all too cold to eat. 3 of us had the lobster bisque and my dad did the clam chowder... Seems they don't put anything in the clam chowder because it was all liquid... No clams or potatoes... We asked for more biscuits and drinks. 15 minutes later he brought our entrees, biscuits and drinks. While my and my mom's coconut shrimp was good, my dad and husband said the shrimp Alfredo was bland and the noodles were mushy. And not 5 minutes into our dinner our waiter brought out the desserts. The brownies had completely melted the ice cream before we finished our dinner. This was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner for my dad... We all agreed that this was the worst service and food we have ever gotten here! We will never come back to this location! read more

There's plenty of other restaurants in St. George to go to. Unfortunately, good seafood is virtually non-existent down here. Red Lobster is a crap shoot for good dining. Either the service is bad or the food is bad. Fortunately, in the three years we patronized this establishment we've never experienced both problems at the same time. The BEST Red Lobster of them all. It is VERY hard for me to go to any other Red Lobster now, because of the quality, service, and food at this location. I have NEVER had a bad experience here in the last 10 years. My favorite food items are the surf and turf, the coconut shrimp with pina colada sauce, Shrimp Scampi, and their biscuits. I always order extra coconut shrimp and tons of the sauce (I could eat it plain). The best part about this location is that even the leftovers taste good the next day, which is very hard to do with fish! Would give 10 stars if I could. read more

We love Red Lobster but all Red Lobster's are not created equal. But in St. George happens to have one of the best. We are creatures of habit and usually order the Parrot Island Coconut Shrimp. Next time we go we will request Chris as our waiter. He was hands down better than anyone we have had in a long time. Right to begin with he brought out rolls and our drinks. Diet Coke and water which he kept filled up. When dinner came out he brought out extra sauce for the shrimp. We usually have to beg for that stuff. The shrimp was large pieces and 9 or 10 of them. Red Lobster has done a brand new fresh facelift, and boy it's looking rather sleek and upscale. The remodel gives out a more inviting feeling. The before and after, really is dramatic! People that know and love Red Lobster are quite versed in the delicious menu they have and the cheddar bay biscuits, so I won't bore you with that. Very disappointed. We were 20 feet from the ocean but the mahi-mahi was frozen and tasted like you should get it at Denny's. Ambience was the highlight, beautiful location right on the Pacific Ocean. The filet mignon was tough and the asparagus and the couscous we're not even close to being good sides. The service was very spotty. Servers would ask if we wanted more coffee and we said yes but they would never bring it. Had to wait often, especially for the bill. read more

AMAZING! Loved this place! We came here for my husbands birthday. And Jordan was the best server we've ever had! I was nervous to come because I have Celiacs and trying new places is always nerve wracking. I wasn't a huge fan of their "nutritional menu." When I ask for a gluten free menu, it is so obnoxious to be handed a giant binder with all their items listing al the ingredients. However I did like that they actually say whether there's a chance of cross contamination due to the way things are cooked, or not. Jordan was extremely helpful. He wasn't sure if the balsamic glaze was gf or not so he brought it out and let me look for it. My husband and I googled it and found out it was gluten free! So they were able to add it to their gluten free menu too! Jordan brought me a giant serving of the caprese salad as well as a bit of a larger portion of the garlic shrimp scampi and rice since there weren't a ton of other options i could eat. But man it was SO GOOD. I honestly was not expecting it to be that good. And they brought out a free ice cream sundae with a candle for my husband. Everyone else absolutely enjoyed their food as well. It was brought out quickly and piping hot! Ambiance was chill and relaxed. We were travelling through and thought it would be a nice lunch. We arrived about 2:52pm. We were never greeted until 3:03 and didn't get seated until 3:10. We ordered th lunch special, but because it was AFTER 3pm, it was no longer available but we could purchase the items separately. Server was very disengaged and was just going through the motions. My husband and I came in 4/14/19 for lunch and the restaurant was rather empty so we were seated right away. However, with all the empty tables, she tried to seat us next to the women's bathroom and I asked if we can sit somewhere else. She looked at us and said, "This won't work?" So I had to clarify, we don't want to sit by the bathroom doors. She then said "Oh! I'm trying to understand.." But sat us elsewhere. Food service was slow and their soup upgrade for your entree is the equivalent of buying the soup bowl as extra. Anyway, this is the only place we ate at on Sunday. I don't have words for Red Lobster, it is my number one restaurant in the US. Maybe it is because the lobster and scallops are sooooooo expensive in Belgium. Here you get an enormous entree for 24 dollar, in our country we pay more than the double. And it is soooooo delicious, from the garlic breads untill the rice and vegetables. I give them 3 and 1/2 stars. Stopped in on the way to Richfield to see the in-laws. (We just weren't in the mood for fast food burgers and such).The service was good. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was as expected. I mean, it is Red Lobster and a chain so everything's pretty status quo as far as that goes. But we were seated at a table in the back, and if you closed your eyes and listened you could hear the ocean..... Oh wait, that was the flushing of the toilet directly on the other side of the wall. Although it did kind of give us the willies listening to that all during our stay, it made for a great story later. Oh where dio I begin. The waiter we had was either new, overwhelmed, or just plain poor, as in reallly bad. Most restaurants bring water without having to be asked. We had to ask. They advertise unlimited biscuits. They weren't brought to us first. We had to ask. We waited 45 minutes in line to get a seat. The special ended at 6:00. We were seated at 6:15 I asked if the special price was valid because we had waited so long. He said no. We got the four course dinners. Usually you serve one course then the customer finishes, then the server takes the plates and brings the next course and so on. NOPE NOT HERE. They bring it to you ALL AT ONCE. The soup portions were embarrassingly small and quaint.the Caesar salad was merely moistened with dressing. I want to be able to see it at least. NOPE. NOT HERE. When the biscuits finally arrived we were mostly finished with our food. I wanted a box too take home my dessert. The waiter simply set them down and left. The server's service manner was completely unacceptable. Not professsional at all. A rank amateur! For as much as we paid we should have expected MUCH MORE. Must be a night for incredibly poor service and reflected very poorly on the management. We tipped 10% and felt that was too much! All in all. Subpar food. Subpar service. Food was what I'd expect of a Red Lobster. Fish was cooked well and had good flavour. Staff were accommodating as we had an infant and were super friendly. Big props to them having a change table IN THE MENS ROOM! You have no idea how great this is for us fathers who do the diapers. Would recommend to others.
