To be quite honest with you, I've never been a fan of Food chain restaurants. I just think the dishes are mostly generic and the flavor just isn't there as much. However, my husband, father-in-law and I recently dined here and I have to say how impressed I was. Henry was our server and he did a fantastic job at tending to our every need. The ambiance was also nice considering it was an early Friday. I think my favorite part was the Shrimp Carbonara my husband ordered. It was so creamy and flavorful. The Brussel sprouts are also a nice addition to any steak you order. Next time you go to Red Lobster, make sure you order a watermelon Margarita, trust me on this! read more

Well to start I ordered a family meal for my kids to eat Dinner I was told my food would be ready at 8:06pm I arrive to the restaurant at 810 they tell me my food would be ready in 10 or 15 minutes !! 25 minutes go by now it's 835 stil no food they tell me another ten minutes it should be done!!!! Wow, this really blew me away. I never go to Red Lobster. I have only been twice as a kid, once in 2014, and now once in 2021. I got the Lobster Lover's Dream. It includes a roasted rock lobster tail, butter-poached Maine lobster tail, and lobster&shrimp linguini in a creamy lobster sauce with 2 sides. I got a baked potato and fries. A ton of food for a really good deal. It was high quality too. Wow, the lobster was just fresh. Every bite was fulfilling. The texture was meaty and felt like lobster. The taste was incredible. I would say that it felt fresh, but also had a buttery sweetness. I could not stop thinking about how good it was after I ate it. The linguini was super good. The sauce was rich and creamy. It was almost like an alfredo sauce. After a while, you do get sort of full and sick of it. However, not even bad. I want more now. The shrimp and lobster used in the linguini was really good. This review is not for the food because I got up and left and went to another restaurant to eat. I ordered the ultimate endless shrimp with a side of rice. Around 15 minutes later, the waitress told me that they do not have rice and that it would take about 45 minutes for the rice. I come here about once a month for lunch right when they open at 11am. I always get a side of rice and it's always available right away. I'm not sure what happened here. Not acceptable :( read more

My father and I go to Red Lobster from time to time, and we make sure to go before Lunch Specials end. The other location we go to permanently closed so we decide to go to this location. We asked if we could get soup as a side and the waiter confirmed we could. We finally get our order and see that it's a small piece of salmon with nothing else, no garnish, nothing. We also got the parrot isle coconut shrimp and it only came with 5 pieces. This all cost $57.04! Not only that but we were charged for the soups, which we were told we could have as a side. Never mentioned we'd pay the difference. A misunderstanding I'm sure, but it didn't make our experience any better. We were told they changed the menu to only one side. It's a Monday evening and doesn't seem packed, so that was nice. But it didn't matter. The service was slow. In that case, we ordered food and drinks as soon as our waitress finally showed up. My bowl of soup served first. I was done with soup before drinks, and biscuits were served. My husband ordered the unlimited shrimp but only ordered the shrimp once more, but he didn't get it until we were done with all of our food. So he took it to go. We were annoyed, and the guy kept coming to clear our table with any plate as soon as it was empty. Smelled like wet towel and that ruined appetite. I don't recommend. We ordered two plates of their special steak and lobster. It comes with backed potato and broccoli. They brought us one plate that didn't have the lobster or the broccoli. We told the server of what we ordered and what we got, she apologized. She brought us the lobster and the veggies. They steak was dry and tougher than dried cowhide. We ordered the Create Your Own Family Feast! You can choose 3 seafood dishes and two family Sides for about $50. A big plus: it also comes with their tasty cheddar biscuits! Yum!!! The best part of this is that it is a pretty good amount of food and feed a family of 5. Our order: Garlic shrimp scampi 10/10 Walts favorite shrimp 10/10 Wild-caught whitefish 5/10. I had a great experience at Red Lobster. I haven't went to Red Lobster for years. However, since moving into my apartment next to Red Lobster, I decided to try out this place. When I walked in, I was drawn into the ambience. While not necessarily sufficing as a fine dining restaurant per se, the chill, quiet, dim, and retro atmosphere was definitely relaxing (and great for introverts like me). Speaking of the food, my sister and I waited around 5 minutes for the biscuits and water and around 10-20 minutes for the pizza and additional entrees to arrive. The food was great. Everything was cooked well (nothing bland or under/overcooked) , and the serving sizes were great for two people. The pizza had lesser toppings than I thought, especially with regards to the lobster and langostino. Nonetheless, it works well as an appetizer for two people and was still delicious overall. The Shrimp Alfredo was amazing. Creamy with succulent shrimp in every bite. It is a bit on the oily side, especially nearing the bottom of the plate, so it helps to mix and distribute the oil evenly in the pasta before eating. This also prevents the noodles from tasting dry at the top. The popcorn shrimp was great. Some were more breaded whereas others had more shrimp; it was a mixed bag. However, the taste was great, either way, and I wouldn't have minded. The cocktail sauce was sharp at first but was packed with savory and tangy flavor. The server was also prompt, responsive, and polite, checking up on us often to ask how we were doing and asking if he could get anything else for us. We decided to come have dinner here for Easter and before baby arrives. We haven't been to Red lobster in a while. We were hesitant because of the 3 stars + bad reviews. But let me tell you we weren't disappointed! Everything was delicious. We started off with complementary cheese biscuits ( which they refilled) We ordered the pasta lobster Linguine, a la cart Sirloin well done & Rainbow trout with a side of caramelized brussels sprout & lobster baked potato. And it wasn't just once--I must have had the same thing at least 3 times there and the lobster was always so soft and succulent. Just pure and perfect lobster. Sure I've had some fancy-ass crap, but man, that Red Lobster was AMAZENUTZ! I should have known it was JUST THAT Red Lobster. Hell, the visit before this one after I moved to NorCal, not sure the location, maybe the same one?--I dunno.... but that one ended so miserably it put an ex into the hospital. Long story. But f that... Any, I got a new gf now, and as you can see we rarely go to anything that has commercials on TV.............. so here we are. Experience 'Murica!!! Well even Arcadia's roaster lobster sucked--rubbery like this one, but their poached lobster was amazing. Not here. Also rubbery, but at least not as bad as the rock lobster. Came in Saturday night after leaving another restaurant for bad service. Just wanted to take my girl out on a date. Waited a good 10-15 minutes before being greeted. Our server looked busy so I let it slide. Waited a while for our drinks. We saw them sitting at the bar top. Another server, who is Asian and had glasses. Saw the drinks while she waited a good couple minutes for her drinks. And left ours there. When we were just a couple feet. Other server saw us looking around, older Spanish speaking lady and ignored us. I asked her to help me pay my check and instead says she will get my server for me. Which of course I waited more. When I was ready to checkout he was in the bar cleaning or closing. Could care less on how we were doing and if we needed anything. Overall there was 3 servers who could care less about the guest and didn't even bother to help eachother out. To top it off, there was no manger presence on the floor to prevent this sh*t show. That sever standing in front of the drinks was definitely the worst one. She stood behind our booth printing receipt. She knew those were our drinks and chose to wait for her drinks. This place is okay. Nothing great and beyond satisfaction. If you crave seafood and pasta, it'll get the job done. But it's sorta too salty and it gets boring after a while. The seafood doesn't seem fresh. It seems like frozen. It's a chain so that is probably why. The lobster and scallops taste okay but it isn't the best. I've been here probably 3 times in my lifetime. I'm like 24, so I mean, it isn't the best place for seafood if you ask me. I'd rather hit up an Italian restaurant or some place in Santa Cruz. read more

So after being seated for ~30 minutes, no bread, no water, didn't even take our drink order. The only thing the server did was take the drink menu, I told my family get up we are leaving. My daughter was in shock as she really wanted the pasta but over half an hour and no service, barely a "be with you in a bit" as she passed our table again. From what I could see it was really slow during lunch and our server appeared to have just 3 tables one of which was already finished with their meal. The most upsetting thing to me was I liked Red Lobster in the past. It was our first dine in place after alpha wave but I don't think I can go back again. I have never walked out of a restaurant before but it was more than slow service on a busy day it was like our server didn't even care about our table. Late Monday lunch a day before Independence Day. Not busy at all. Seated almost immediately at a 4 person booth near the window facing Capitol Expy. Smells like what you'd expect at a seafood restaurant. AC was on full blast thanks to the 90+ weather. Charles took care of us and brought over water plus 8 pieces of those irresistible freshly baked cheddar bay biscuits. He made sure we had everything needed, including hot sauce and extra napkins. Started off with some white wine/garlic butter mussels. Grilled bread it arrived with soaked up the sauce perfectly. Dad ladled some of that garlic butter onto his rice pilaf, not that the rice needed anything extra-- cooked just right. Mom & I twinned (as if we look anything but) and both ordered half portions of simply grilled rainbow trout ($2 off for lunch!) with sides of rice pilaf and newly offered sautéed zucchini/yellow squash. Squeeze some lemon on that fish for added flavor. Sis got a lobster tail with shrimp skewer since they ran out of red shrimp. Dad ordered the same along with grilled salmon. Ooo grilled shrimp was so good. Caesar salad wasn't as good as I remember, too much dressing. Overall impressed with the experience . I stopped in Saturday with a group of 11 ladies. We were placed in the very back of the restaurant, which was for the best because my family gets LOUD. The waitress was friendly But assertive enough to make sure she got all of our orders down despite the constant chatter. We ordered a round of drinks, a few apps, and entrees. The lobster was shrunken and the food was cold. Thought the Brussel sprouts would have been great but it was also horrific. The only thing I enjoyed was the drink. I might as well didn't order any food and just have the drinks. When I told the server the food was cold and not good. The only thing she said was I could take it back and warm it up. Oh how the mighty have fallen. This place used to be the go-to restaurant of the century. It has now turned into an ant-ridden, bug infested rude and brain-dead employees galore. There was literally an ant trail right on the table where we were sitting. So, we asked management to move us to a new table. Whoops! Same exact problem at this table as well. (Ants) This place has been taken over by a new team and it shows. I ordered a well-done steak and what was given to me was a rare, almost raw steak. We have been going to this red lobster for about 25 years. At this time I would NOT recommend to anyone. I went with my husband and sister in law. They both ordered the endless shrimp and I ordered a house salad as I can't eat very much due to health reasons. I reached over and made the mistake of trying 2 of 6 grilled shrimp from my husband who kept telling me that they were delicious ( they were not). Too dry and cold for my taste. The owner or mgr came over to tell us that it was not shareable and that if he saw us again he would charge us for an extra dish. We felt threatened, embarrassed and humiliated.
