We were told we would have a 15 minute wait for a table. It took over 30 minutes and they weren't busy. That's fine. However, once we finally got seated we prompltly got biscuits and drinks and placed our order. Another 30 minutes go by with no food. This is not ok. It was officially past my kids bedtime and still no food. Some lady came to our table and said she noticed our 30 minute food ticket and asked if we wanted to talk to a manager. I said no,I just want to pay my bill and leave. After another 5 minutes wait still no bill. I just got up and left without paying. Never done that before but I had wasted my dinner night with my family. My kids were starving and crying. This was the best restaurant ever till they sold it. Tables can be empty and you have to wait 20 to 30 minutes to be seated. The Clam Chowder taste like can and is more milk than chowder. The salad is much less than before the Business was sold. The main dish is good, but prices are to high for what you get. We had all you can eat Shrimp and we asked for a refill and waited 20 minutes to get more Shrimp. The waiters don't seem to like their job there anymore. We do not go there any longer. read more

I called ahead to the Red Lobster on North Division in Spokane (509 489 2777) and got the automated message. The message stated, and I quote, "Did you know you can join our wait list in advance?" There followed directions on how to enter your name on the wait list online. I followed the directions and received a text message as follows: "Thanks for joining the Waitlist-can't wait to see you." A 40 minute wait was quoted. We drive down and arrived 14 minutes later, then waited for our name to be called. After about 15 minutes my wife suggested that I double check to make sure my name was on the list. The hostess then informed me that she was not honoring the online waitlist. I told her that was not fair. She brazenly replied that it wouldn't be fair to all the other online reservations that she had turned away that day to change her policy and honor mine. I told her, no, what is not fair is to implement an online waitlist system, encourage people to use it when they call, and then inform them later that you have arbitrarily decided that you will not honor your own system. This is absolutely unacceptable for a business. You cannot operate that way. We left because I refuse to patronize a restaurant that treats its customers this way. read more

I have never left a review before but our family had such a negative experience dining last night it had to be done. The server was so focused on upselling, she was borderline deceptive. Management more or less argued with me when I questioned the bill and the way upgrades were sold to me without my knowledge of ridiculous prices and he only slightly adjusted my bill which took him 30 minutes. Not a memorable night out. We usually arrive early 4 pm kind of our senior hour. This seems to be the shift change time we had two different servers doing a tag team but still were not properly attended. My wife ordered a shrimp style 20 minutes into the wait our server brought the menu over and asked us to point that out on the menu. When we did so he took the menu in to the kitchen to prove we were not making it up. There were no biscuits cooked we waited 20 minutes for those. My ice tea was refilled at their own good time despite the empty glass being pushed to the edge of the table for good viewing. The food quality was as always good I paused eating my coconut shrimp for a 20 minutes for the twice requested Pina Colada sauce. We were sat right away and then got to stare at our menus for 30 mins. Our waitress kept walking by saying she would be back... 30 mins. Then we get the endless shrimp and didn't even finish the first plate. Shrimp was either over seasoned past edible or cold. Rice was undercooked. Mash potatoes were so salty I only had one bite. Alfredo is lacking flavor. We paid 50 dollars to be hungry still. We wanted to complain to our waitress, but we only saw her when she dropped off the check. The manager I believe was bussing tables and we tried to flag him down when our waitress was no where to be seen and we were told to wait a moment and he would be back... never came back. This is a restaurant that I would definitely come back to. It was quite a long wait for me to get a table, but they were very good at recognizing that it took long and gave me a free appetizer. I didn't need it but it was nice of them to do. The service was very good and our waitress was excellent. The food was enjoyable and was cooked nicely. Tonight I ordered the all you could eat shrimp. The Parmesan crusted, garlic butter, and coconut shrimp were very good. The saracha shrimp was just OK. I had an awful experience at the Division Red Lobster. The kitchen manager was extremely rude to me and my family, I will not be back.

Christmas Eve 6:30 p.m. I ordered 3 NY strip steak and rock lobster to go from the Spokane WA Red Lobster. $150.00 and a $30,00 tip and icy roads later at home I discovered there were no biscuits included. (Adults are big crybabies about no biscuits.) I called and told them the problem and was offered no solution except to drive the icy roads back and get there before 8:00 when they closed. I couldn't do that. January 10th I ordered one steak & lobster to go and told them about my previous experience. When I got ready to leave I looked in the bag and told them there was no salad included. So I waited...and waited and finally got a salad. No apology, no offer of any compensation. Why oh why did I go back to Red Lobster, I gave up on it about 10 years ago when I lacked the pallet of a 6 year old. I gave it a whirl with my husband because it's been so many years since we're been and I immediately regret it. If I wanted microwaved food I could have had a child make a better seafood dinner at my house for a quarter of the price. The staff is nice so that's a great benefit, plus the biscuits are always okay. I should have known better on this one. Pleas don't waste your time or money! Shop and eat local! Took my wife and daughter the other day for endless shrimp. While we were seated quickly, we were repeatedly passed by several of the wait staff. When our waitress finally came over it seemed as though we were hassling her. We ordered a two sodas and water and this is where the problems started. The waitress forgot the soda and to take our order. We had to ask for the Cheddar Bay biscuits and about 10 minutes later 4 came out and we had to ask to order. Eventually we ordered and about 20 minutes later our shrimp came out cold. Not able to eat most of the food, we let the waitress know it was cold and tried to order more. Apparently this was a huge undertaking as it took another 15-20 minutes and the food was completely inedible. Thank goodness for these biscuits, but nearly an hour in, we needed more biscuits and were never brought any more. Eventually, I went to talk to the manager and she must have said something to the waitress as her attitude went to 11. I could go on and on, but the gist... stay away. Bad food and worse service. Had a date night with my wife last night after watching Captain America 3D. The meal was much better than the movie. Service (by Jessica) was outstanding even at 8:30 pm. We expected they might be out of a few things, but just the talapia and salmon, which we were not interested in. We started with an appetizer of a variety of seafood. Each was fantastic. Then came the biscuits. We ate the whole basket!! We shared the Dueling Lobsters. Each side was stuffed with crab or shrimp and each was excellent. The four stars instead of five was for the salad, which was swimming in dressing and the asparagus, which had a odd taste. Went to Red Lobster (Northtown) last night hoping to enjoy a wonderful birthday dinner for our daughter ~ WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Took minimum 20-25 minutes to get a drink. Ordered appetizers & meals. AFTER we finally received our appetizers, it took minimum 50 minutes to get our main dishes, which were cold, and we had to ask for! I asked for a manager, but no manager on premises. A cook finally came to our table to indicate that they were short staffed, which he did say was not an excuse and not our problem. I informed him that tables around us had been seated after us, had their meals, already left, with the tables then being refilled with new customers, who had already their meals. While they did deduct half of our bill for our "inconvenience", we decided to not leave a tip! That is an earned benefit! WILL. NEVER. RETURN. read more

This Red Lobster just opened in Spokane and is a hot spot. I hadn't been to Red Lobster since I was younger and figured I would try it. Since when did Red Lobster become so pricey? Anyways, because it just opened and it is so popular, my friend and I waited for at least 30 minutes for a table which I would usually not complain about because this just means I can go to the bar and enjoy a drink while I wait. Well, we did this and order a Mango Mai Tai which tasted like juice and which I seriously doubt there was any alcohol inside. When we finally got seated, our waitress was a little slow at getting out salads and taking orders. In her defense, it was extremely busy. I ordered the choose two combo and got seafood stuffed sole and snow crab legs. The snow crab legs were great but the I couldn't even force down the seafood stuffed sole. The cheddar biscuits were really good though. I would go back for crab legs and a non-mixed drink and hope that I got a different server and that the wait would be shorter...For now I am just going to stay away until things settle down there. read more

I took the time to ask tonight, he is so quick friendly and helpful looks like he is a man wearing many capes quick to fetch refills extra plates bus tables help seat expedite food, shorter gentleman with a goatee hopefully I have the right name he deserves kudos. But I reduced one star because the girl who was taking our order misleads do us toward adding extra food. The other missing star was also because of the same girl, who was not acting courteously, and she was ignoring my child whenever he tried to ask her about the food and menus. This location has really gone down hill. Our family had been to both North Spokane and CdAlene locations, feeling that the CdAlene location was not worth going back to; however, the North Spokane location had always been good enough for a return visit. This is no longer the case. We went on a Wednesday at 6:30 pm and shortly after ordering our meals we were told they just sold out of the salmon - of which both my husband and I ordered. So we got new menus to try again, choosing between different sides because the original meal came with two but the new choices only had one. It was nutty. The food came, it was ok but not the quality I expect for the price and one of our side dishes was forgotten. The service was lacking. The hostesses (3 upon entry) were all too busy talking with each other to greet us upon entering. They noticed us, we were the only three in the lobby, they just weren't quite ready for the interruption. One went to look for a table for us, apparently the perfect table because it took a good deal of time and there were several empty tables. Upon her return, another host asked if we were "ready yet?" Our server was friendly, but we sat for awhile with empty glasses. We chose this restaurant for our daughter's 14th birthday dinner before a game at the arena because it is moderately priced, we wouldn't have to mess with downtown parking, and they're food had always been satisfactory. With our previous experiences at the CdAlene location and this recent experience, this will no longer be a choice to be considered. read more

Proaly thee only place I've gone this year that had great attentive friendly staff. We visited in early April on a slow afternoon. The portions are big and the food great. I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. This was my first time here although I have lived in Spokane for over a year now. The service was good and pleasant, from the hostess, person who took us to our seats to server. The food prompt, hot and good from Caesar salad to main course. Had to share our experience from today. We sat there for 15 minutes no one ever came and offered us drinks, two or three people walked by and said nothing, I got up to go to the front area to ask for someone to help us I came back to the table and the waitress was telling my friend that she was to busy chit chatting with another customer and was sorry.. My friend had a few things to say to her and she said she go and get someone to help us and after another 5 minutes no one ever showed up... After that we decided to leave then a another waitress was coming towards us and said you leaving, well of course we're leaving. Went to the front desk asked for the manager and he took 5 more minutes to get up there and they weren't busy.
