I remember when I was a kid, and going to Red Lobster was a treat! From the moment you walked in throughout the whole experience, you felt like you were being treated like royalty. The food was always great, and the service was spectacular. I get the impression that these days those things went by the wayside in the interest of higher profit margins. We came in on a Sunday evening. It wasn't very busy, and we were seated right away. It took about 10 minutes for our server to come by to take our drink orders. That set the stage for slow service the rest of the evening. The food was mediocre. We ordered calamari for the appetizer, which did NOT come with any lemon. I ordered the fish and chips, again, no lemon. My guest had clam strips, that did not come with ANY cocktail sauce. Just these little things that didn't make sense, I've never seen this at any other restaurants. It's not like these are expensive items... we didn't dare ask for these items, because the food would've been cold by the time these items arrived. You can't exactly say that red lobster is cheap, so I expect the simple things to be included. There are LOTS of other seafood choice around Spokane, we'll be spending our money at those places in the future, and skip Red Lobster. read more

Was expecting more in everything at this place! The only thing that was more was the price and I definitely won't bug my wife to eat there. Ate here with my husband and was highly disappointed & unsatisfied. First of all our waitress took forever to get to us didn't even bring us biscuits, asked for all the waters without ice and she brought it still with ice. Second she took forever to take out order we were waiting there looking around but never saw her two other waitresses said that they were going to go look for her. Third she was very rude to me when I asked her why the fish I got looked like fish sticks? The plate itself that I got was not in my opinion worth $21. Just had a meal at the Division location in Spokane, WA. Disappointing service would be a very mild way of stating this. Waitress failed to enter and deliver a drink order not once but twice. 15 -20 minutes is way too long. Appetizers took 25 minutes and the main dishes did not hit the table until 35 minutes after the appetizers. Then after asking for our military discount the waitress did not apply it to the bill. I had never been to red lobster until tonight and I honestly thought it was just going to be an okay-ish meal but the food was pretty good! We started the night (my boyfriend and his parents) with the seafood stuffed mushrooms and some coconut shrimp, which were to-die-for, especially dipped in red lobsters piña colada sauce (the shrimp that is). I got the seafarers feast which was butterfly shrimp, shrimp scampi, grilled lobster and grilled scallops and to top it off mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad (I didn't even come close to finishing all this ). My eyes have always been bigger than my stomach! The food was pretty good and I'd recommend this location to anyone but the thing that really sold me about this location was an employee who worked here. His name is Deanthony and I cannot express how much interacting with him made my, and my boyfriends family's night. Deanthony was the most sweet and genuine person. Uhhh what to say about this place... well, there's a reason chains like Red Lobster, Olive Garden and Applebee's are shuttering across the country. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon because hubby wanted the biscuits. That's the only decent part about this place, and it's evident to see why there were only boomer-aged diners in here when we walked in. We ordered "create your own lunch" with shrimp and scallops. Should've taken a picture at the start of the meal, but you can see how tiny the "scallops" are in comparison to the lemon wedge. The wood-fired shrimp were similarly small and disappointing. Broccoli and seafood were clearly defrosted from frozen. I feel like these types of restaurants have failed to adapt with higher quality and fresh ingredients. Everything comes out of a freezer box and it's reminiscent of the packaged food obsessed 1990s. Our server, Michelle, was super. My family and I went on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated, our waiter came by and asked for our drink order. I asked for a minute to look it over and he said he will come back and check on us but just in case he forgot about us to track him down. Really? I should t have to track you down to let you know we are ready. 15 minutes later I flat him down and give him out order. Food comes and he puts hot plates in front of my 10 month old son. I ask that he doesn't do that and he said oh I am too busy right now and sits the rest of the plates down and leaves. His section appears to have 4-5 tables all of which were seated before us. How he was busy is beyond me. I would not recommend this place due to slow service we had. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. read more

We went with family for my wife's birthday. Will not be back. Ever. How can you mess up fish and chips so badly? Somewhere in the middle of a really large, over fried piece of beer batter there was some fish. Not much of it and it was pretty hard to find. Would have been much happier to have frozen fish sticks for the money. Like a whole lot less money. But the fries were ok I guess. Beer selection was not great. Oh and my wife's once per year lobster treat? Mediocre at best. Food for the others was so - so. Overall, 1/5 rating for the food/value. The servers tried really hard and were very sweet, so that was pleasant. They were obviously a part of a hard driven corporate machine though. Strangest experience - no one at the host station for almost 5 minutes when we walk in - bartender looks at us, but said or does nothing. Ordered the ultimate feast, stuffed shrimp & coconut shrimp for delivery. Spent over $90 on the food and delivery (delivery fees ended up coming up to over $30!!!) We were staying at a hotel- had to come to Spokane for appointments for my high risk pregnancy. They didn't give utensils, napkins OR BUTTER. How can you receive an order for crab and lobster and not send butter?? How can you treat a customer who spent over $90 on a to go order this badly and not give utensils, napkins or butter? I gave three stars because the food was good but it's fresh seafood.. not like you can really mess it up if you're a seafood restaurant. That being said, the coconut shrimp was good. Won't order stuffed shrimp again- It wasn't great.. and if I just have unbearable cravings for seafood again in Spokane & there are no other options.. So I decided to come for lunch today. What drove me in was a Facebook ad for their new crispy fish sandwich. Sadly it was nothing like the 'picture' implied. The roll/bun in the picture was not the same, in fact what I received was simply a grilled and smashed run of the mill cheap hamburger bun. Also the cheese was virtually nonexistent. I ordered this through Uber eats and here are some pictures of the food that I paid $33 for. As you can see they served me a ridiculous amount of fries that didn't even cover half of the plate (if you don't want to put too many fries at least use a smaller container), a huge full PLAIN potato that supposed to come with sour cream and butter but obviously didn't (at least take the time to cut it c'mon) "complementary" biscuits were EXTRA dry, and I supposed too get crab legs how the description of the plate said butt instead I got 4 tiny pieces of crab on a stick... the only good thing of the plate was the sautéed shrimp and thank god because if not I'll be starving still. Three stars! Good location, good food (served warm), nice atmosphere. Music is not too loud and warm inviting interior. I had the shrimp and chips lunch special. Fries are like homemade with skins still on. Shrimp was a little small. Service was horrendous. Our salads where brought to us without silverware or napkins. Took 20 min for our main course to be delivered after our appetizers where brought. We never got a request to refill watered down soda. All and all only three stars! read more

The only thing edible in this basket were the fries. Whitefish was same heavily oiled fish jerky. Lobster was cold and overcooked. Shrimp Scampy was way overcooked... shrimp jerky. Scallops tasted good... but, we're cold. To top off this visit... the "Manager" was telling folks at the table next to us all about his divorce, and how he got stuck with child support. What kind of manager is he?... a jerk. The host was the only employee that was on top of his game here. Super kind and helpful. Server... she was crappy... forgot requested items... was more concerned about taking care of the loud folks at another table. Coeur d'Alene Red Lobster has better service by far... and edible food! Due to the Corona Virus we were unable to dine in to my mother once favorite restaurant. I was never a big fan but this was her day. We decided to use the delivery option and it was a mess. Not only did the food smell bad, was unedible and cold, the entire order was wrong, the desert was not what we ordered, there was 1 biskit in the basket when the menu clearly said 4. Our entrees were wrong and I even tried calling the location, tweeting them, emailing them and calling hq with no response from anyone. To say this was a dumpsterfire would be an understatement. Attentive and friendly service staff. Good lighting at the tables, dimly lit walkways. Makes the table feel isolated and cozy from neighboring tables. Seasonal music play playing overhead loud enough to mask neighboring conversations, but not loud enough to disturb your conversation.
