We had one of the worst experiences when it comes to dinner...first, they no longer offer a variety of fish choices which is what I was looking for...they only have salmon or flounder which we were told only came fried...I decided to order the sirloin with a pink center, not bloody just pink, broccoli and mashed potatoes ...my date ordered fries flounder, coleslaw, baked potato with NO SALT(what's with all the salt on baked potatoes?) and everything on the of the bake potato...by the way, their rolls are not what they use to be! Too greasy! My date ordered Diet Coke and received regular coke...I opted for water and lemons...finally the food arrived... my sirloin was overcooked which I sent back at this point I asked if I could get the flounder grilled and waiter said they could do that after saying they couldn't...the mashed potato was okay not great but the broccoli was good...my dates fish was very fishy and greasy like it was old sitting in old oil...coleslaw was good but the potato was a mess of salt and covered with everything! And the corn was nowhere in sight!!! I asked for the manager at this point as the whole thing was a bad experience...I finally got the grilled flounder and my date received the corn and a new baked potato...the corn was old as the it was hard to eat of the husk...it was really a terrible experience and I will no longer come to this establishment....the bill reflected the experience as it was vastly discounted...there's too many other restaurants around and this one is definitely off the list!!!! read more

HORRIBLE!!!!! Walked in and had to wait 10 Minutes to be seated and the parking lot is empty. While two servers were chatting it up, saw my fiance and I walk it. They finished there conversation and made no attempt to even greet or acknowledge us and the bartender walks up and says just a moment let me go get the host. THEN finally got seated, I kid you not! It took the waitress another 12 minutes to come to the table. When she finally did come, she brought biscuits which was great however we haven't even ordered our drinks yet. Well drinks took another 7 minutes. My fiance was starving and didn't want to wait and started eating then of course he got thirsty... but nothing to drink. I knew better but by the time I ate a biscuit when drinks were on the table they were cold. So the manager doing manager things is going to tables asking how things are and i told him honestly the service sucks and told him what i just explained. He apologized and got new biscuits himself immediately! BUT THEN! THE WORST PART OF IT ALL! We got our food. I got the choose 2 shrimp combo. I ordered two shrimp scampi's and fries for the side. As I was on my last 3 shrimp i noticed something black on a shrimp I was about to eat.... IT WAS A BUG!!!! I IMMEDIATELY THEW UP MY FOOD, TOLD MY FIANCE I NEED TO GO TO THE CAR BEFORE I SNAP. I WENT TO THE CAR AND THREW UP 2 more times!!!! My fiance ended up paying for his meal and 2 bottle beers and 20% off. They took my meal Off. Honestly you all are lucky i went to the car because if I had stayed in that booth, I would refuse to pay and wouldn't have. It's not like it was good food and bad service, or great service and bad food. SERVICE SUCKS AND THE KITCHEN!!!!! I AM SCARED TO KNOW IF IT IS EVEN CLEAN BACK THERE! Great location and easy to find a parking spot. We were seated very quickly and the service was excellent. Their food was average with their pasta looked a bit dry on top and not warm enough. Their roasted garlic crab fest plate was alright for $28 with lots of greasy potatoes on the bottom. Their biscuits were super delicious. Came here to grab a quick lunch today and when I came in there was no hostess. i waited 10 mins to be seated even though there were about 3 workers that looked right at me and kept doing what they were doing without even acknowledging that someone would be right with me. It took for me to flag down the manager to get some kind of service. The gentleman that came in behind me just seated himself and I did not want to do that. She said she apologized because she had just walked in the door and for "not having a hostess". offered me an appetizer which I appreciated. This manager has been here for awhile and this is not the first time i have had a not so good experience here or with her. For the beginning of my meal she was assisting me but then passed me over to Mike. The first thing that he did was apologize to me for my experience so far and that he would be taking over and be my server. I love that he did that and it did help my mood shift because I was not expecting that at all. He was very polite and mindful of giving me some space, while still checking on me. Food: I started off with the biscuits and the calamari, idk what RL got goin on but I only received 2 biscuits and back in the day they used to bring 4 at a time, maybe the rules have changed(shoulder shrug). My calamari came out hot and fresh with 2 dipping options. For my entree I got the lunch special...garlic shrimp scampi with a baked potato. It took me a good minute to get my food about 30-45mins so i just ended up taking it to go. It wasn't busy enough for me to wait that long, I ran into a friend of mine that came in way after me but got her food quick fast and in a hurry. All in all the service at RL has been going downhill for some years now but that doesn't excuse poor management and service. So my feedback would be to schedule your opening shifts accordingly because having a host is important to your business because this is one of the first impressions your paying patrons receive. And also having more than 3 servers working the entire floor. My rating is 2 stars only because my server did make my experience a little better. read more

Surprisingly they included about 12 biscuits instead of 8 which was nice & the food also came very warm. I'm giving 4 stars because the Cajun pasta was a bit dry and needed salt. Service was painfully slow. Not to mention when I arrived the doors were locked when the business was still open. It took ten minutes for someone to finally open the door. Then when I was finally let in, I had to wait another twenty minutes for an online order. I would not recommend coming in during the final hours of the restaurant being open. Crab fest is back and 20 dollar all you can eat shrimp too, so we decided to celebrate or anniversary here. Valentina greeted us on arrival and promptly seated us in a nice booth. I ordered a low sugar red Sangria and it was perfect. Kathy waited on us and was so welcoming and friendly, she has worked here for a number of years and she is very knowledgeable and helpful. I had the garlic butter crab and my husband had Walt's fried shrimp, some grilled shrimp and some scampi. All items were cooked to order and served hot and together. The crab were fresh and sweet, could not believe I had a pound. It was very good and crispy potatoes were the base. My husbands shrimp were also very good. The biscuits were also fresh and hot. The atmosphere was very nice, heard a few birthday songs. Michael who was shadowing Kathy was attentive and checked on us at intervals. Not overly but very pleasant. After we finished we were surprised with a fudge sundae for two. Topped of our anniversary in such a nice way. The cost was very reasonable. We really enjoyed the evening. I go here 1-2 times a year. This time we went for my birthday. Was pleasantly surprised with the awesome service we got from Jersey. She was so attentive and kind considering we came in at about 9:30 because I came from an event. They have a prefix meal during the week and it was a steal on Wednesday for 4 courses for $15! Can't beat that. This restaurant has been here since the 80s and hasn't changed much in appearance. The food is always decent and the dessert was awesome. We went on a Friday night. Oddly we didn't have to wait for a table, there really only was a few tables in the entire restaurant. The biscuits are the best! For appetizer, we got the lobster dip (amazing). Then for my entree I got the crab stuffed flounder. The sauce was amazing, but I didn't like the fish or the lobster. Drinks and our appetizer came out fast. 40 minutes later my man had to ask for the food from the manager because our server was on his avoiding us status. 15 more minutes with hungry kids and a visibly pregnant me starving me, our food comes out. Cold and ill repaired. Then when my man says something the rude manager comes and takes the plates like with the worst attitude I've ever seen in a manage. this place has the worse service ever. The place was totally empty on a Monday night. there were more lobsters in the tank than people in the booths. Therefore there should have been no reason for the service to be sooooo slow. I ordered the Seafood Trio. The alfredo sauce was flavorless, as well as the breading on Walt's shrimp. My husband got the Seafood Bake. It came swimming in butter and garlic. Hubs wanted #EndlessShrimp, so we visited this Red Lobster a couple of weeks ago. Everything was good... nothing outstanding, nothing terrible. For a Thursday night, we had a surprising bit of a wait (15 minutes). And a few more minutes before our server arrived. But, THEN, he was excellent - very attentive. And he made sure we had plenty of left-overs to bring home! Some of the shrimp entrees were salty... Ok for me, maybe even ideal, but hubs mentioned the Garlic Shrimp Scampi was too salty for him (I acknowledge that I have eccentric tastes). But, YES, the cheddar biscuits were incredibly delicious, as usual. My only food complaint was about the Teriyaki Shrimp Kabobs: the shrimps on each end of the stick were dry from being overcooked, but the rest of the shrimp in-between on the stick were amazing. I got a selfie with a lobster while we were waiting to be seated so that definitely spiced up an average evening. read more

Calamari was great but not enough pieces, veggies include red pepper strips and broccoli. Served with marinara and ranch sauces. Broccoli shouldn't be there, no flavor. Veggies like zucchini, mushrooms or long beans would work better. * Stuffed mushrooms: 6 pieces of mushrooms stuffed with their seafood stuffing, topped with cheese and baked. I still don't know what they had in the stuffing. I couldn't taste any seafood in that dish. Entree: * Endless shrimp: 5 different shrimp dishes and did I mention endless lol. First dish comes with 2 shrimp dishes and 2 side for $17. You can order another order of shrimp while you eat. Great concept but the dishes aren't that good. - pineapple habanero coconut shrimp sounded better than it tastes. Too crispy and sweet. - teriyaki grilled shrimp was also sweet. i was super excited to try the new menu and decided to go with the newcrab boil listed at $45. not only did we waited almost 45 mins for our food to come out!! my cousin literally walked back to the kitchen and asked what was going on with our food because we were nerver updated on the status! i started to walk out! i was highly dissapointed not only with the service. i was even more disgusted with the food!! not only the taste but the quality also ! the sauce i asked for was obay w garlic & butter. what i got was just butter and oregano!!! no sign of obay anywhere and it damn sure didnt have any taste of garlic atall! !! and the potatoes were cut really small and overcooked !! the only thing enjoyable was the cheddar busciuts, side sausage (which i had to order seperately because it wasnt included) ! and the margarita flights ..... passion fruit to be exact! to add insult to injury, after the manager asked about the food and i gave my honest opinion ! the most he offered to do was to bring out more seasonsing and replace the brocolli .that i added as a side. it was steamed w no butter or seasoning and was still hard / crunchy. this was an absolutely disappointing experience. and definitely not worth the total $88.00 i spent. never again! read more

Its easy to forget Red Lobster as they have been around for such a long time and we want to try different places. When we do make our way back, the food has always been tasty. My last two pickup experiences were excellent. The wait time was quick and the food was hot. The new Kung Pao noodles with shrimp or lobster was very good. Steady wins the race. I know I live in Tampa and that there are a plethora of amazing seafood spots using locally sourced seafood, but there's something about those cheddar bay biscuits. Initially my mother and went because this week was the last week of Lobsterfest. I had too difficult of a time deciding which of the lobster dishes I wanted so I didn't get one. Instead a few other promotions caught my attention. One was for their happy hour until 6pm Monday- Thursday, which features libations and appetizers starting at $3. The other was for a 4 course meal (soup, salad, entree with sides, and desert) for $16.99. There's a list of options for each and some substitutions for an up-charge. I got the 4 course meal with clam chowder, house salad, soy glazed salmon,green beans and mushrooms, and baked potato with an apple crostata. I did pick my entree and desert from the list of substitutions and paid a little more. I did enjoy my meal. The service was great and the manager stopped by to say hi. Will I come back? Absolutely because the cheddar bay biscuits tasted better at Red Lobster than they do when I make them. read more

Went there just to try for the first time and got the Lobster tail and Steak for $34, I ordered well done and when I cut into it, it was still red. Steak was surprisingly really good, the outside is like a sweet flake and it's nice to chew on. Lobster had a mild sweetness to it and it came with two sides and a salad, I just got mashed potatoes (loved it) and a baked potato. The baked potato was disappointing, not very good, should've just gotten more mashed. Service was alright. Server was really nice and wonderful but just took more than 30 min for a meal and the steak wasnt even well done. The cheddar biscuits though are wonderfullll. Our server Lee made the experience exquisite for family! The service made the tasty food taste great! His ability for great attention to detail made the whole family feel blessed it was so beautiful to dine together in comfort!!! I had the ULTIMATE and it was way more than I could eat in one setting especially after consuming; mushroom, lobster artichoke appetizers along with lobster bisque!!! I like mixing regular butter sauce with the buttered shrimp sauce to balance the seasonings, soO delicious!!! read more

It's red lobster so I feel like I shouldn't expect much here but decent food and of course the cheddar biscuits! We went on a Saturday night at about 8pm and there was no wait. The restaurant wasn't full at all and the staff all seemed to be lacking enthusiasm to be there. Our service wasn't terrible but our waitress did the least she could. She didn't introduce herself when she came to our table she just asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered shrimp linguini and fish tacos and I must say they where both delicious. I had a traditional margarita and a Mai Tai which where both what I expected, average. I felt bad because a couple sitting across from us was there before we where and we had a good for quite some time before they got theirs. Sad, things changed. Its been a yr for me but my mom loves RL AND I took her there yesterday. Biscuits no longer cheesy and were cold. Stuffed mushrooms were bland, had a few tiny shrimp but FAKE KRAB in it......REALLY R L.! We did enjoy the Crab Legs and Coconut Shrimp. Oh!! the untensils were filthy with dried food stuck on them. Notified the take out area and received a message that they would be coming out with my food. I waited 20 minutes in my car for them to bring my food out and no one ever showed up so I walked into the restaurant and waited another 10 minutes for someone to address me, no one showed up. I had to go to the bar for assistance. When I got to the to go window. The server looked at a bag sitting on the counter. I told her my name she said my food wasn't ready yet, she back to check, she went in the kitchen to check just to come back to tell me the bag on the counter with mine after all and she read the name incorrectly. oh, and my food was cold after all that waiting and they didn't even apologize! read more
