We had a terrible experience at this Red Lobster location. We ordered apps at the bar and frankly the service was slow, the staff didnt seem engaged, and the food was among the worst I've eaten at a Red Lobster. We tried a total of 3 appetizers and all of them were way off the mark. We ordered the lobster pizza and after noticing we had to cut it ourselves, found that the middle was very soggy due primarily to the amount of grease pooled up beneath it. The cheese and lobster smelled super funky and it was nearly impossible to eat so we sent it back. We also tried the coconut shrimp and the calamari, both of which were unbelievably greasy. The coconut shrimp was butterflied nicely and had good flavor, but the calamari was truly inedible. It was rubbery on the inside and breaded way too thickly on the outside. In addition to being oily, it had no flavor. We asked for the check soon after and the bartender didnt even care that we took less than 2 bites of the food. We ended up paying way more than it was worth, but were happy to leave and find food elsewhere. I cant say I recommend this red lobster location. read more

A friend and myself went to the red lobster on Broadway this afternoon. He was really craving clam chowder so we went. He got the clam chowder bowl when they brought it. It was a very small bowl and it was not hot at all. I got one of their margaritas on happy hour And I expect that happy hour. Margaritas are just gonna be the cheaper liquor, but the margarita was not good. Didn't even finish it. Then I asked for one of their pastas that normally has some vegetables and has lobster in it. I requested that they take the lobster out and replace it with chicken When it arrived. That only had they not given me lobster but there was none of the vegetables in it just the Cajun chicken, which was not fresh. My friend had their shrimp salad bowl, which for the price was quite small that he said was OK. As we know, their cheddar biscuits are amazingbut to pay $82 for some amazing cheddar biscuits isn't the way I like to roll. I have to say over the past few years all the times that I've decided to give red lobster. Another chance it has not worked out well. We were there at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Ordered a new Lobster Lovers Dream (very expensive @ $54.99), which was good taste-wise, BUT charged us for one of our 2 side dishes ($2.49 side salad), very tiny baked potato, forgot our 4 biscuits, and the extra cup of Classic Clam Chowder (a ripoff at $6.99) was small and had practically no clams, no potatoes, and no veggies in cream soup. Second expensive dinner S&T Strip Steak with Main Lobster Tail ($44.98) was served with very skimpy side of a few broccoli heads, no biscuits (suppose to have 2 per dinner). Our first trip to this Red Lobster. We each ordered the Fish and Chips and a side of Hush Puppies. Our server always acted as she was in a hurry, but she remembered everything we asked for. The fried cod was very greasy. The fries were very greasy AND salty. The biscuits were a little doughy inside, but arguably better than the fish or fries. The Cole slaw was okay. We were about 1/4 way through our meal when we talked about finding our server to ask about the hushpuppies when she brought food to the table next to us and tried to give them our hush puppies which we spoke up to let her know. Well, those things were no bigger than marbles! A lot of money for 5 marbles that were called hush puppies. What has happened to Red Lobster????? Based on this experience, we will NEVER be back. The greasy and salty food did not sit well afterwards. The price for the Friday Fish and Chips was $16 for a single piece of cod (?) sitting in grease (wished we would have sent it back) and rubbing the salt off each fry before eating it along with paying $4.49 for 5 marble hush puppies barely large enough to taste. What a disappointment. We cannot recommend this Red Lobster or the food we ate here and do not intend to go back. read more

This is not your average Red Lobster!! Clean, inviting, good food, great service!! My friend remarked that she had never seen such a clean lobster tank. Bryen is an exceptional server, prompt, courteous and charming, don't loose him! But, all staff that we interacted with were happy and friendly. Bryen suggested our drinks, guided us through the menu and recommended a dessert. The wine was very good and my friend enjoyed her Margarita. Appetizer was the mushroom caps, excellent! Lobster was exactly what we wanted and it did not disappoint. Dessert, you deserve an award, best dessert we can remember anywhere, fresh strawberries on a vanilla and cheesecake dessert. I use to scoff at Red Lobster as another one of those large chains, basically Olive Garden with seafood. But I was blown away when I walked in and saw the large tank filled with hefty sized live lobster. I ordered a two pounder to share with my dad and it was cooked to perfection and up to the "gills" with sweet tender juicy lobster meat. It had so much meat we were pretty full and yet had ordered another ultimate feast entree thinking we'd need it. We ended up taking most of the other entree home. It's definitely not cheap so be prepared to open your wallet, knowing it will be worth every penny. There you have it. I hadn't been to Red Lobster in over 10 yrs because I had goven up on it. I had some pretty bad experiences back then I can for New yrs day because they had a bloody mary special. I'm glad I came back! For one the lobster hloody mary was devine, the food cheddar biscuits melted in your mouth. The service was pretty good as well. I also tadted the lobster pizza which was good but could have definitely been better. The tacos also had good shrimp, but the tortolla was a bit too tough. My mamma comes from Red Lobster's Heyday Era, when fancy dress was a must. She loves the food and feels so special every time I take her. Naturally, when looking for a place to take her for an early Valentines lunch, I drove straight back to where we've had such nice service. Note this was not ON Valentine's Day but with gifts in hand we were clearly celebrating LOVE..... Sadly, our server was having a bad shift. I'm understand being busy but he was short and very close to rude. He wouldn't listen to what i actually wanted, so we ended up with one less side to eat. I couldn't get him to stop recommending my "cheapest route"even though it left OFF the broccoli...... but okay i dropped it...... at one point, I even mentioned that mamma thought he was having a bad day but before I could tell him that she wanted to help change that FOR HIM, he cut me off to point out all of his obligations at other tables...... that was my last attempt at niceties. We ordered the ultimate feast and fish and chips. Crab legs we sooo skinny. I can't believe that fishermen are harvesting these snow crabs. They seem too young. The fish was supposed to be cod. If it was it was old and tough and no taste. Only 1 piece. Rice pilaf was white undercooked rice. Our server was great. But I'm not paying $110 for serving poor quality food. Sorry. But someone needs to get in your kitchen and quality check your food. We used to go to Red Lobster once or twice a month. We hadn't been there in a year and it will be another year before we go back. I went here over the weekend to use a $25 gift card I received from work...unfortunately, I had to use my credit card in addition when the bill arrived. I love seafood, especially lobster, but this place is overpriced for the quality of food offered. Everything we ordered was a little bit more salty than they should've been. The biscuits were okay, they're fresh and warm but still very salty. We ordered the lobster and langostino dip and it was served on a tiny saucer - sized bowl with an unnecessary abundance of salty tortilla chips. The dip to chips ratio just wasn't proportional. For the entree we ordered the shrimp overboard to share and we didn't even order drinks and the bill still came out to $50+ for 2 people. Service here is atrocious at best. We walked in and waited over 7 minutes to be greeted along with another two parties behind us one of whom left after waiting so long. We were finally seated and our service took over 8 minutes to even greet us and say Hehe would be with us shortly. I knew we should have left at this point. Considering the restaurant was 1/4 full at most these times are unacceptable. The server finally came to take our order and after 20 minutes of waiting for our order my plate was completely wrong. I will NOT be returning here nor would I recommend the is location. I would give this location 2 1/2 stars if I could. First, understand that this is a chain restaurant so don't expect fine dining. We went twice recently with friends who love their whole live lobster. Second, live lobster is not cheap at any location so one should expect something superior to a frozen tail. On one visit the lobster was overdone for two of us.........not acceptable. One 2 pound lobster was badly undersized but they gave our companion a tail to compensate for this mistake when he complained repeatedly. All in all, we took it in stride with one exception. The pitifully small dish of watered butter or buttered water is not acceptable. Talk about misleading TV ads......! We will only return when our friends insist. Meat always ( either crab or lobster) feel dry and shriveled. Not moist and juicy. Not much to the flavor either. -Shrimp Fest is glorious!! Comes with 1 salad and 1 side and like I said before ..... unlimited shrimp!!! This year is the Shrimp Alfredo, Shrimp Garlic Scampi, Mediterranean Shrimp, Crispy shrimp, and The Nashville Hot. To be honest, not a huge fan with the Nashville hot, taste like crispy shrimp with drizzle of honey..... no hot or spicy effect at all. The Mediterranean isn't bad, but ask for extra cooked or charred. Taste bland and almost uncooked when it's not over done. Our favorites is the Shrimp Alfredo and the Garlic Scampi. I did like the Korean BBQ from last year (2016), but it's not on the choices this year. -establishment is kept clean -server was nice but inattentive -Food was spot on ( Hard to mess up Shrimp lol) -bathroom was clean -*** complaint ; hostess , don't know what's going on with that situation , but every time we've been in the host and hostess don't seem to want to sit anyone. I am very disappointed in Red Lobster. While dining with my husband we had the worst food ever from Red Lobster. I ordered a salad it was cold as if kept on ice to where it made the lettuce wilted, my knife was dirty and I told waitress about it. She took it and never brought another along with never bringing any biscuits after asking. The Alfredo Shrimp sauce was scorched and tasted awful. I've never had bad food at Red Lobster before this. Red Lobster is a tad on the expensive side, with which you'd expect good service and fresh food. Unfortunately on this visit that was not the case, when the cheddar bay biscuits were brought out they looked over cooked and tasted like they'd been reheated in the microwave. The waitress made very few appearances at the table and when the main dishes were brought out they too tasted like they'd been in the microwave. On top of that the dish I ordered( shrimp linguini) caused me to be sick to my stomach all night. This restaurant has very poor service. My order was wrong and Red Lobster would do nothing about it. They insisted that I had to call the delivery service, who had nothing to do with the problems. The bag I received was sealed and delivered perfectly by the delivery service. They wouldn't even talk to me on the phone about it, which made me really mad! Here is what was missing from our order: Green beans and brussels sprouts were both missing from the shrimp skewers order so one person had no side dishes at all. We were missing 4 biscuits. We had ordered extras and we only received 8 biscuits for our order of 3 meals, not the 12 we expected. We were missing ALL sauces. There were no cocktail sauce, no salad dressing, no tartar sauce, no drawn butter, no pina colada sauce, etc. This really spoiled our celebratory meal! I had an amazing lunch with my mother at this Red Lobster. It has been years since we have been to this chain, a chain that used to be a staple of celebrations back in our South Dakota times. Visited Red Lobster near Park Place for the first time in years. The three of us decided to go there for lunch. It was not very crowded and we were seated right away. All Covid processes were in place with social distancing and masking. We ordered up drinks and studied the menu - they have trimmed down their menu, but still plenty of options including lunch specials. We all ordered off the lunch specials menu - entree plus 2 sides. What did we order: popcorn shrimp w/ sides of clam chowder & fries, coconut shrimp w/ brussel sprouts & fries, and fisherman's platter w/ cold slaw & clam chowder. Of course, they kept filling up our biscuit basket - fantastic !! The clam chowder was some of the best I've had since the east coast. We were all happy with our meals and a great price at ten dollars each for the lunch specials. There were even some left overs for lunch the next day ! We were very happy with our meals - much improved since our last visit years ago ! Service was also very good all during the meal ! Definitely recommending the Red Lobster at Park Place ! read more
