Typical Red Lobster. They were out of the dish I wanted. They said it was really popular over the weekend. It seems like that happens a lot at every Red Lobster so they can get rid of the other food. I remember when the wait staff were professional and the chain was upscale dining. Bad taste all around, literally and figuratively. I went there on a recent night for dinner at the bar and it was just all around horrible. Starting with the service, I sat down and was met with a cold stare like I was salesman before I heard a grumpy "can I help ya!". I asked for a menu and some water which I got 20 minutes apart. After I ordered the food came out and was placed damn near 5 feet from me (no joke) and I had to beg for utensils and remind them of the water I asked for. It was so bad I didn't even finish my food. Clam chowder was mostly potatoes, milk and a very few small, terrified clams. Canned is better.. Our server was nice, but overwhelmed. All food was served at the same time.. If I could I give them 0 star its a disappointment to come to a seafood restaurant and they can't cook the one thing there named after. Having the server tried to defend the food was not smart he should have taken the comments to the cooks sent it was way over cook, all the food was. Not only that he never came back with what we ask before leaving, shouldn't have even payed for any of this I will never be coming back and will tell everyone I know not to go sent they can't cook and was poor service. Terrible and damn how can you even say that the lobster you serve is from Maine...whatever? If in fact if it is lobster from Maine you sure as heck don't have a clue how to prepare/cook it!!!! I order a bowl of lobster bisque with a half dozen of their signature biscuits. I like to dunk the biscuit into the bisque. Very tasty. The quality is fairly consistent. Every now and again, I will order a shrimp or seafood combination entree along with the soup & roll.. It's obvious the shrimp (seafood) has been frozen prior to preparing & serving, which is a shame. Seafood tastes so much better when it's fresh. When I am in the mood for lobster bisque, Red Lobster is the only place I've found that offers the fare on a regular basis. In terms of freshness, taste and quality, each item listed rates 2.5 stars - fair at best. I would not recommend Red Lobster to friends, family or strangers due to below standard seafood. read more

Went to Red lobster for dinner a few days ago and had a great experience while there, from beginning to end! We were craving crab and seafood, decided to go there since it's a chain I've gone for years and I've always enjoyed it, this was our first time at this Vancouver location, the hostess was friendly and had a warm smile when we walked in, our waiter was GREAT!! His name is Ben, such a helpful and professional gentleman. Ben thank you for the great service and advice :) We ordered the crab's dream, plus a crab cake, stuffed mushrooms and crab dip!! Out of those mentioned above, everything was delicious besides the crab cake, I didn't really feel it, that delicious crab taste just wasn't there, the other plates however made it up for it quite nicely! Yeah I took one star away just cuz the crab cake!!! Hopefully next time it'll be on point Overall we had a great time, the place was clean, the food was really good, some plates delicious, the mushrooms and the crab dreams Good variety of drinks, and a super cool waiter!! Opened it, and 1 of the 2 sauces that came with my order seemed to be non-existent. Brought my order back, then was shown that the sauce was in the bag and not in the container like the other two times I ordered this same order. Ben some sort of seafood platter with lobster and scallops and such. The mac and cheese arrived. It was disgusting. Clearly microwaved. The lobster was chewy and uneatable. They literally were charged almost $30 for this. Get out. I had a couple bites and ignored the rest. Ben's plate was ok. Not good. Just ok. The waitress saw that I barely touched the mac and cheese and asked if I wanted something else. I declined. I had filled up on biscuits and Caesar salad. She removed the mac and cheese from my bill, even though I didn't ask her to. Respectable. I can't see myself ever going back. So I don't need to tell you how great my food is because we all know! Those biscuits and that shrimp scampi! They never fail! We came in for the endless Shrimp! It was about 7pm. We sat in a cozy booth in the bar! There were 5 different Shrimp items you could choose from and you order two at a time. It came with a side item and a salad. What a deal. We stuff ourselves to the rim! We left needing a nap! I always have great food when coming here! This place is great for lunch too! Keep up the great work Red Lobster Team! I have always been a fan of Red Lobster. When the family and I think of seafood "Red LOBSTER" is the first name that comes to our mind. We have always eaten at this location over the past 6 years and the food has always been good We are not sure if it was one of those fluke nights, the stars were night aligned or the cooks were just not having a good night. I had the lobster Bisque bowel. The cost was $8.99. The bisque was extremely thick, It should be a silky and luxurious soup - not chunky. Sad to say it was chucky but also extremely salty. The family and I ordered the calamari appetizer. If your a fan of calamari you will be disappointed. I posted a picture for views to see. The cost of the plate is $11.99 60% of the plate if not more is deep fried veggies. The batter on half of the calamari was not fully cooked. If your looking for a true calamari plate this is not it. The dinner biscuits were also under cooked, you could see the dough. I had the seafarers feast. I attached the picture, it looked great, but looks can be deceiving. The first shrimp I bit into was under cooked. The tomatoes were delicious, the pasta had no taste at all, bland as bland could be. the base of the bowel was drowning in grease and butter. The other dish ordered was the Bar harbor Lobster Bake. I am happy to report the dish tasted extremely well, worth ordering again. My son had the chicken fingers and fries and he reports "Yummy". It appears the restaurant was trying to maintain a fast service to its customers and in the process rushed out the dishes which were not prepared properly. A balance between ensuring food is served in a timely manner is achieved but never at the expense of comprising the quality of food you are serving. read more

I order 2 cheesecakes every other week for pick up/take out. 5 weeks ago I picked my order up and found the next day that they charged me for 4 cheesecakes. I called the restaurant and they stated that it would take up to a week to see the refund and that she wasn't exactly sure on the process. 3 weeks later I am still waiting. The following week I ordered again. I always order my cheesecake with NO BERRY sauce. One out of the two had sauce on it so AGAIN I had to waste my time and call the store to see if they could credit me. I talked with a manager(if that's what you want to call him). and he was clueless as to how to handle it. He would look into it and get back to me. Now it's 2 weeks later and I just got through speaking with him. To make a long story short he basically called me a liar and stated he has no clue how that could have happened because they don't put the sauce on the cheesecake. This guy needs to be fired. I know Darden (whom I work for) no longer owns the restaurant chain and it shows. I will never be going here again nor will I ever speak anything positive about them. Red Lobster is our go-to seafood restaurant when my husband is craving coconut shrimp. A lot of seafood restaurants offer it but none also offer the pina cola dip with it. So, we were close and this is where we went. It wasn't the lunch hour and it certainly wasn't the dinner hour. Matter of fact, very few customers were inside when we arrived. So, why did we wait to get seated? Where was the hostess? Once seated we noticed the loud couple behind us. Perhaps, talking loudly on the phone wasn't anything they were aware carried into close booths. We were thinking about being asked to move. After all, the dining area was near empty but decided to stay put. We didn't wait long for our server, Shelly, to arrive. She took our drink order, had a "lively" and "loud" conversation in the next booth and then went after our drinks. We were ready to order and she was ready to take that order. However, not so ready to turn it in to the kitchen. Another lengthy conversation with the table behind us and then on to take the order of newly arrived guests. By this time we were calling her "Chatty Cathy" and wondering when our order would make the kitchen. We had to admit that the chatting wasn't just at the tables, kitchen staff's conversation carried over into the dining area too. I guess that's what happens when there's not much going on. When our meal was served we asked the server for ketchup. I use ketchup on my catfish. While waiting I finished off the baked potato and even grabbed a couple shrimp off my husband's plate. Still no ketchup so he decided to go ask for it. Shelly met him half way. Now it was time to pay ..... you guessed it. We sat there and sat there wondering how long we'd wait. Food was good. Server was nice and friendly. However, she wasn't efficient. I understand trying to save steps by making one trip for several guests and it's okay if I'm not the first one and waiting the longest. A server can turn a nice meal into a special one. She can also ruin the experience. She didn't ruin it but she didn't add to it either. Thought we'd give them another chance, two hours after eating, major diarrhea.....course, Clark County Health Department would blame it on the patron.......I point to tainted food. It's almost impossible to get a good meal that settles right in Clark County anymore......unless you want the ultra-processed stuff some call fast food and that feels like a rock in my gut afterwards. Pretty dang good, actually. We ordered the Create your Ultimate Feast and the Ultimate Feast. Dinner started with drinks and Cesar salads. The Amoretto Sour was delicious but the Oldfashion tasted like it was made with fireball... which is not what we wanted nor what we ordered. The Cesar salads were perfectly dressed and tasted authentic. It was a bit salty so taste it before adding salt and pepper. Then came dinner. The lobster Mac is a MUST. It was delicious with large chunks of lobster in a creamy cheese sauce The petite lobster tails were were incredibly tender and delicious. The shrimp scampi was tender and cooked perfectly. It's easy to over cook shrimp, but these were perfectly cooked and tender. The garlic butter sauce was perfect and tasty! I used it to dip the lobster tail in... and those perfectly fluffy cheesy biscuits that RedLobster is known for. Oh! And the shrimp Ragoons.... Omgosh, they were so incredible! The spicy dipping chili sauce was way spicier than I expected. I LOVE spice so this was a fabulous surprise! They were so good! First time dining at this location. It was overall an excellent experience. We went there to celebrate my wedding anniversary. The waitress, Shelly, was very friendly, nice and attentive. We ordered two menu from the crabfest special. All dishes were good with the exception of the King crabs which lacked saltiness. My daughter had the $18 4 course special which was very good.
