Took my in-laws here today for some seafood. we ordered the a couple meals. The service was great and the food came out promptly. Everything was cooked right and we throughly enjoyed the food. The Lobsters was cooked right and delicious. My son filet was cooked perfect and it was pretty juicy. Overall everything was great. The one thing that shocked me was the price. Red Lobster the last year has gone up drastically. All of our meals we about 45 bucks a person with the exception of my wife which we found was a great deal. Lobster and shrimp scampi for 19.99. It was the Monday special. But besides the steep price for a chain restaurant everything was great. Everybody did get atleast 1 lobster tail. 300 bucks for 5 people with tip seems kind of high for a Red Lobster! read more

The Friday fish and chips very disappointing. Two pieces of cod. Mostly breading. Hard, tough breading. I doubt there was 3 ounces of actual fish total. Coleslaw was ok to look at but two bites in I left it uneaten. The biscuits were as fantastic as always. No wonder these restaurants are going away. Service was very good. read more

Portio s where excellent. Un fortunately the salmon was so salty it was inedible. Sirloin was cook to perfection, unfortunately the was so tuff it took 3 min to eat one bite. Both dishes were lobster and came out with no butter. I had to ask for it. Upcharge for everything even the side salad. Stuffed mushrooms where cut in quarters so not 6 Stuffed mushrooms maybe 2 whole ones. The stuffing was mushrooms. They did retire a new salmon. Unfortunately no seasoning was on it. Ordered 2 Fish & Chips dinners, 1 Pepsi, 1 mixed drink:$43.91 per tip. Fish: NO flavor, barely cooked, NOT safe to eat Coleslaw: Stale, warm, NO flavor Mixed Drink-7 & 7 neat-Lemon SEEDS in it, mostly 7 up. While waiting for the check a large birthday party( 8 people) right next to us was told by some Black girl waitress with GLOW IN THE DARK LIME GREEN hair it was going to be 1 HOUR before their food would be ready. Cheddar Bay biscuits are bomb! Warm, soft and buttery. Yum! Best thing about any Red Lobster. This particular location is located off Kellogg and is generally busy. The staff is friendly and quick. read more

We waited about 15 minutes before getting our drink order taken. Then when asked if we knew what we wanted I asked if they had the unlimited shrimp because we didn't see it anywhere she pointed at the tiny spot it was on the table card and walked away, we were ready to order just wanted to make sure that was still available. She finally came back to take our order 10 minutes later and we still didn't have any biscuits. Th rest of the meal took forever as well. Even though we ordered our refills when the order came out. I know they want you to pay as much as possible and eat as little as possible but we were there for unlimited shrimp and hungry lol. read more

We ordered food from here to be delivered by grub hub. I can't say the food was terrible but rather ordinary. We ordered crab legs dinner and all we got was crab legs. No sides! We ordered a baked potato and green beans. They "forgot" to put them in our order. Way to go quality assurance! Called back to let them know what they had forgotten and were promised some compensation in the mail which or course has never arrived and probably never will. It was not Grub Hub's fault. They are just a delivery service. But Red Lobster could have sent the missing items over to us or tried to make our dinner satisfactory. Epic fail Red Lobster! My visit to the west location was fair at best. The wait staff was amazing. The flavor of the food was good, but the quality of the food and the portions lacked. I think they gave me a miniature baked potato. Not only was it super small, but the inside was dry and hard, like it had been under a heat lamp a few hrs too long. The shrimps on my salmon were scarce, the portion of my salmon was pretty inadequate. I know times are hard but to serve me a hard dry baked tater is disappointing. What happened to quality checkers. The west store needs Gordon Ramsay to to pop in and show them how to run their food service and quality. I think I'll stick to my usual RL which is the East location. read more

The service we received was horrible. When they did bring out the food my steak that I ordered was well done and not medium and they didn't bring all my food at one time. I waited 10 minutes for my shrimp skewer along with the 10 minute wait I had to wait those 10 minutes before sending my steak back for being well done. Finally after sending the steak back I received my meal 20 minutes later at which time I refused the meal as the birthday party I was with had all finished their meals. Another party member ordered decaf coffee as she can't have caffeine and they brought her regular coffee which she wasn't aware of until she had drank almost all of it. They charge you an arm and a leg for your meal and the only side that doesn't cost extra is broccoli! THAT IS RIDICULOUS!!! read more

Sitting here with hubby for the "Endless Shrimp Feast". The reastuarant is clean, cool and overall very nice. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. We had just about all the shrumps but the scampi and alfredo are to die for. The coconut is a gold one as well. The chowder and baked Taylor soups are rich and creamy they don't taste like a canned soup. Our server was a awesome, cute little red head named Shawana....sit in her section!!!!! This little gal is point on without being a bug on your but! Yep I'll be calling ahead to make sure I can sit in her section. It was very kid friendly as well. We sat where there were tons of new norms to toys and pre teens. It was awesome. The STAFF MADE IT SO. I would say this RED LOSBSTER is a big thumbs up. read more

Our service was excellent,so I'll start with that. However, the food was not that great. The lobster was too tough to eat and everything that should have been warm, was cold. The kitchen needs to do better. The dining room I was seated in was clean. The booth seat kept moving around anytime I tried to scoot one way or the other. That was annoying. There are too many restaurants in Wichita to keep going back to Red Lobster. I will try something new next time. read more

Atmosphere 1 star. It would have gotten 4 stars but the men's room was absolutely disgusting. It wasn't that someone had just stunk it up. Took our son here for his birthday dinner. He loved the fish kids meal. In his newly 7 years old excitement he commented to the waitress that today was his birthday. She surprised him later with a birthday sundae. He was thrilled and managed to eat all of it even after his big meal. He proclaimed that every birthday he wants to come to Red Lobster to eat fish. I really like Red Lobster, more so when they do Endless Shrimp, which is why we are here. It is however a chain so one must expect chain food and not super fresh food. That and we are in Kansas and not by the ocean so it's not like it's awesome. Got the Peach Smoothie and it was really good, I was wanting a mixed drink, yet decided against it, yet the last time I had one they were really good. Wife, daughter, and I met my sister and her family for a Saturday night dinner. We enjoyed our meals and our server was fantastic (Jamie). Coming from a full service restaurant background it is greatly appreciated to get that allusive server that is both attentive and fun. She talked two male servers into singing happy birthday to our group as we were celebrating four recent birthdays and even entertained the possibility of having our "Dueling Lobsters" do battle.....but food safety won out in the end. They need to completely remodel both Wichita locations. They keep the lights way to dim. Not everyone that goes to Red lobster is looking for that romantic theme they keep trying to portrait. Low review due to poor service, bland food and the restaurant was filthy. This is the second time we've been to this red lobster and will probably not go back. The only reason we were there those two times was because somebody gave us gift cards. It seemed like we hardly ever saw our waitress and she was not very personable. We noticed there was trash on the floor in several locations and saw several employees walk right by it and never pick it up. It would seem to me that this place needs a revamping of its personnel and some training as to what a service industry should be like. I would pass on this restaurant. First time ever at a Red lobster! Sadly I don't really see what the hoopla is all about. Ambiance: Like that of any other steakhouse with thick wooden walls and your standard seating. Place was packed on a saturday evening as you would expect although service surprisingly was good and prompt. We were seated with drinks in 40 minutes. Food: Caesar salad was overly dressed and very thick, it was far from a light refreshing salad. I got the Cajun Chicken Linguine and it was pretty decent flavor-wise. There was a very mild heat to the chicken and it was moist and tender. The problem with the dish was that the noodles were cooked a little past al dente (maybe for their older clientele?) and the cream sauce that went with it was more oil than cream, I mean I had a puddle of orange oil at the bottom of my plate. The best part of the meal was undoubtedly the cheese biscuits they serve when you get seated, they were warm, crumbly, cheesy and delicious. If I could, I would've just ordered an appetizer and gotten full off those biscuits. A general theme with my food, though, is that it is ALL overly salty which isn't helping the blood pressure of their clientele. I also snagged a fried shrimp from my mom and it was uninspiring even with the dipping sauce. They could really benefit from some creativity and more complex flavor profiles. Overall this place will win you over with their biscuits but their over-cooked pasta, lack of imagination, and high salt content were a major turn-off for me.
