Let's start at the beginning. The biscuits that I usually love tasted like they forgot the seasoning. They were bland. My husband had to ask for a new bun for his chicken sandwich because his was burnt. Then the chicken was chewy. I ordered shrimp and crab linguine Alfredo, being crab fest I thought it was safe choice. Well I couldn't eat it because the crab tasted so bad. It tasted old and fishy. Or maybe expired canned crab. The waiter apologized and said the cooks only excuse was that they were busy. I had him take it off our bill. At no time did a manager come to apologize or try to make amends. My husband ordered shrimp linguine and I had Cajun chicken linguine. Nice portions, very good. I also ordered a side salad, the bowl was heaping with salad, plus ranch dressing. The ranch dressing was runny like it was watered down, no taste. Disappointed with the salad, probably won't order again with the ranch dressing, maybe try another dressing. read more

This place has great seafood and I love going here with my wife. She enjoys the crab legs while I like the fisherman's platter. The biscuits are awesome. My wife and I went here the other day and we were fairly happy with our experience! The service was very nice and they were quick too. We got bread and our appetizers quick and then right as we finished our appetizers the main course came out, so there was no awkward sitting moment with no food or drinks. My wife and I went here for lunch. It was not all that busy and we had about a 20 minute wait. The server was very attentive to us. I had the southwest style shrimp tacos and they were excellent, my mouth is watering just doing this review now. It had a lot of flavor to it, and just enough kick to it. It was wonderful and good. The rice on other hand didn't have much flavor. I can't remember what my wife had but she loved it and said it was just enough food. We will be back for you. Being that Red Lobster is nothing more than frozen, commercial crap, it definitely tastes like it. I got the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake. The shrimp is not mussels were delicious as was the linguine and sauce. I do have to compliment the chef as the bay scallops were cooked to perfection which is very difficult. On the other hand, the lobster and snow crab legs were horrible. Both tasted old and frozen and like the plastic they were probably wrapped in and the lobster was overcooked. Sad for the star of the dish. Even the melted butter had a weird flavor. This place has gone WAY DOWNHILL!!! Red Lobster in general has taken quite the downward drive. Went there yesterday for a late lunch. Do not order the Mozzarella Sticks. They were cool, rubbery, and had a very odd coating on the outside. Zero flavor. My worst experience by far at any Red Lobster. As a Platinum Rewards member I eat at Red Lobster about 2x per month. This was the absolute worst visit to any RL. I ordered the choose 2 for 19.99 and picked the grilled salmon and the scallops, both of which came with an upcharge. The salmon was burned to crisp on the bottom and was extremely dry. The scallops (only 4 on a stick) were hard as a rock and difficult to eat. So $25 for a tiny burned piece of salmon and 4 rock hard scallops, yikes!! read more

Probably the worst experience I've had at this restaurant. We waited 45 minutes for the shrimp that was overdone. They ran out of broccoli and green beans. My family and I went to the Red Lobster in Williamsport tonight, we had a waiter his name was Tony, he never offered us specials or red you anything from the menu he just came up and asked us what can I get for you then when our meal was served he didn't bring me drawn butter he noticed it wasn't there and said he would get it but never did. Then my husband and son-in-law ordered all you can eat shrimp he gave them their first order and never returned this was totally unsatisfactory and I had to speak to the manager regarding this very poor service not happy not ready to go back anytime soon! read more

Yeah, this is what I get for ordering a steak at a seafood restaurant, but Williamsport doesn't really have a good steak house and I have had the filet mignon here before and was pleased with the quality for the price. Tonight was a total fiasco. The evening started out on the wrong foot when they seated us all the way in the back of the restaurant making an 89 year old man (my father) walk a long distance to the table, and past rows and rows of empty tables they could have seated us at. The waiter Ryan did the best he could service wise I understand they were short staffed tonight. I got the filet and my dad got the sirloin. I always order the filet butterfiled because it's a thicker steak and undercooked unless they butterfly it. When I got the steak the waiter explained to me that they butterfiled the steak AFTER they cooked it. I have ordered steak this way for decades and never had anyone tell me they knew better how to cook my steak than what I asked for. Of course the steak was way underdone (I ordered medium) and they had to take it back, and it came back well done and ruined. My father couldn't even cut his steak with a steak knife! He only ate about half of it, and half of that he had to spit out because he couldn't chew it. When you spend almost $50 for 2 meals you expect things to be done right! Two stars only because Ryan really tried to do his best and get the order right. My dad came with me against his will because I was wanting a steak. We won't be back. read more

I've eaten here multiple times since the last review, and I never had a bad meal. Although, I did have a weird one, where the server sat our table not knowing that the table's waitress had just left. We sat for for maybe around 20 minutes or more with no service, before we actually had to call the front desk and ask them to send over a server. The manager was very nice though, and she gave us the whole meal (which was very good) gratis, so we just ended up giving our new waitress a nice big tip. My only real problem with Red Lobster, is that they change their menu too much. For Crab Fest, they had one of my favorite Seafood dishes I've ever had with their Crab Bake. It had two big sets of delicious snow crab legs, a bunch of shrimp, some scallops, crazy good red potato halves, and half a cobb of corn all swimming in a ridiculous garlic butter broth. I went there multiple times while this dish was running, but sadly it's no longer there. Just recently, they've released a whole new revamped menu, which seems to greatly increase the quality of food, while keeping lowish price (especially now as the new dishes are all 2-4 dollars cheaper then they will be). They changed their fries from the mediocre frozen shoe string, to what appears to be fresh hand cut fries. They added some steaks from the wood grill (which I haven't tried yet), and several other fish and shrimp dishes that sound pretty good. They changed all of the serving dishes to a classic white look, though the bowls are a little too big for the size of their salads. The only problem with the new menu, is that they got rid of my previous favorite dish, the lobster and shrimp pasta. On my last visit, everyone at my table ended up getting the 4 course meal for 15 dollars. The meal start off with a cup of soup, I had the Manhattan Clam chowder which was very good (as I generally like tomato base soups) but everyone else had the classic New England Clam Chowder which they enjoyed (although there were probably too many potato slices). Then came the salad and buns, which is the basic but very good fare every meal comes with. I was a little worried about the size of the main meal, but they were full sized. I had the shrimp and scallop Alfredo pasta, it was very generous with the seafood, but it was the generic Red Lobster Alfredo sauce, which is serviceable but a little bland. The other people at my table got Shrimp dishes, which had a lot of Shrimp, and they enjoyed them. I tried a few of the Fried Shrimp and they were very good. It was here that I noticed that the cocktail sauce recipe had changed much to the better. It tasted more fresh and very flavorful than the previous generic Cocktail Sauce they used to have. So overall, Red Lobster is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at in Williamsport, especially among the chains. read more

Our server was unfriendly and we seemed to be a bother to him when we asked for drink refills. When we tried to order he asked us to wait because he had to get salads for another table. There was too much dressing on the salad. Only once did he notice we needed a refill (otherwise we had to ask) I was never offered a refill on my water or alcoholic beverage. Our daughter's fork was beyond dirty it was unwashed. When refills of endless shrimp were ordered it took over 15 mins for them to be delivered and by my second refill my family was ready for dessert. My husband ordered the Admiral's Feast and the picture on the menu compared to what he ordered was incredibly poor! Went there tonight 11/5/2016 call a head for wait time and was told 50 mins to 1 hr. Reserved seating for my wife and our 3 kids ages 8,5,and 1. (So you know what task it is for them to wait) we arrived 5 mins early and were told it would be about 15 mins. Waited over 30 mins and asked how long we had to wait again we were told 15 mins. We went for a birthday celebration for my mother in laws 87th birthday. There were nine in our party. We started with brown lettuce in two salads and plastic in one other salad. It took over twenty minutes to get our drinks and longer for the rolls, although we got our roll plates right away. We understand we're a large group, so took out on stride . When our meals came, one was completely wrong, but the waitress insisted it was the right one, one did not have the correct food on it and one came out after everyone else was done eating.. She told us when she dropped off the eight dishes that the one was"being plated", but out didn't arrive until the eight guests were done eating. The waitress cleaned up others plates as she dropped off the meal that was late. There was no apology except one person who had bad got a free dessert.. Which she gave to my mother in law whose birthday we were celebrating. the bill came out and we had split it. The person who got the wrong meal was charged for the larger meal, the other who ordered shrimp with crab meat and didn't get it, was charged for it, even though the waitress never brought out the correct one. I have to say this we've eaten at red lobster before and have never been treated so poorly or served such poor quality food. With so many other choices in restaurants and red lobster clearly not caring about their customers, I do not plan to return. read more
