Now this is my second time in 2 weeks going here and ordering the same thing. The Tumbleweed Tuna is awesome! I absolutely love it. Now today when I went I called and the lady was the same lady who took my order last week. She was knowledgeable and nice the first visit and she was ok up until it came time for me to get my food this visit. Another young lady took my payment she greeted me asking me the name on my order. I told her the other lady over the phone didn't ask me my name. She said "ok what was your order? " I told her she proceeded to ring me up. She asked me how I was doing and she was just very pleasant. My order wasn't out yet so I sat down. Now back to the other lady, a woman walked in and paid for her order. A minute after that my order came up. The host reached around the lady and handed me my food. Then proceeded to open all 3 boxes for the other lady showing her each meal she purchased and being extremely courageous. While that was going on I put my meal on the counter and proceeded to check my food myself. When she saw me doing that she asked me was everything right and I said well you didn't open it and show me so I don't know. I was just confused as to why I didn't receive the same attention the other paying customer received. She then proceeded to walk over and we talked about how I ordered spinach and tomatoes but I didn't see the spinach for the lettuce that was on the sandwich. I made a statement saying I'm glad I liked lettuce because I didn't ask for it. She say that the sandwich already comes with lettuce. I said when I ordered it last week it wasn't on there. Ultimately I was really disappointed in the whole interaction because I do enjoy this particular meal and I really think it could've been handled differently. I think if it's common practice or protocol for you to show every customer their food once it comes out then that's what should happen. Thank you read more

The aesthetic was very nice & makes me feel very relaxed. When my family & I were sat we waited a bit longer than anticipated because no one knew we belong to their section. The food came out surprisingly fast which in most cases is what everyone wants, right? But when we got our food it was no wonder why it came out fast, our food was at room temperature. It seemed as if our food was just on standby until someone ordered the items waiting. The eggs had no taste & bacon was hard along with little to no taste as well. The pancakes were big & filling although a bit dry. Maybe on day we shall come back & try out different items on the menu or a different time of day. read more

I had my mother's day meal here, it was LOVELY! The service was prompt, the staff were all friendly and worked as a team to take care of their guests. The food was soo delicious. Even though the restaurant was packed, we didn't have to wait too long for the food. The only problem is the bathroom. There is literally one bathroom for women and one bathroom for men. Like one toilet in each bathroom. So only one person could go to the bathroom at a time.. they need to add another toilet in each bathroom. The wait for a toilet was ridiculous. I wound up going into the men's restroom. The restroom is unique because there are sticky notes all over the walls. Inspirational quotes, funny jokes.. but people shouldn't be hanging out writing on sticky notes while there is a line of people waiting to go. I mean it's an awesome idea, if you had more toilets. That's my only complaint. I will definitely be back, but I will try to empty my bladder before I go to the restaurant. :) read more

Yesterday March 28th we encountered some really poor customer service. I prefer not to be seated by the restroom- (I see that's where the host was leading us. I asked to be seated somewhere instead of by restroom and didn't mind waiting) the host said to go back to wait we will be seated next. Mind you there are several vacant seating. (Thinking that they those are not available because of social distancing) I'm not a fan of the community table - but they seat us there - thinking that's the only available seating- then Ppl come in (non minority) and the host greats them with a smile and seats them at those tables that I thought were not available. I look around and see how the other customers were greeted and served right away - as we wait wait and wait. The other ppl that were seated after us on the community table were waited on (Non minority) and we are still waiting.. I can't help but to think that race had something to do with why we were treated and thats why we continue to be overlooked. I look back to see if anyone is seated by the restroom and yes you guessed it - it was a minority couple. We had to get up and leave as we have the right to choose where to eat. This review may not make a difference anymore as I will not be back. However going forward they may inform the staff to treat all ppl of all races with kindness and fairness. Came in for lunch. Not overly busy. Sat down. Staff standing around chatting it up at the front. After several minutes, we had to flag down the only waitress who was busy minding all the tables. She was very apologetic for the lack of service. She took our order. We both ordered sandwiches. It was taking longer than usual for our simple orders to be prepared. I'm not talking by moments, but much by much longer. Our waitress saw how frustrated we were getting and said she would check on our orders. She came back with our food a few moments later. She was wonderful. She needs to be placed at the LC location so she can get more tips and more help from the rest of the waitstaff. To emphasize, the place was not hustle and bustle, but there were some folks eating. It took forever for us to get our sandwiches. Simple sandwiches. The kitchen can not say they were slammed. Don't count on the "Tired of waiting in line" yelp app. We used it and stood by watching the host skip our party and seat others that showed up after us because they couldn't get a bus on the table we were going to . Checked in on line. Waited patiently for almost 1 hour but yeah just kept skipping us.. Not even a large party. Kinda disappointed. Ok well the food finally arrived after 1.5 hour from when we checked in early. The wait time was supposed to be 25 mins but clearly that didn't happen.. when the food came it was not what we thought. To be nice id rather eat out of the dumpster at Kelley's than go back to this place. The grits were instant, the Texas Hash was just low grade cheese on potato's and the portions were not nearly with the 11 dollars a plate. The server had a hickey on her neck she was trying to cover with a bandaid, and after being skipped over before seating it took 20 mins just to get water and coffee.. also when you order food make sure you ask for silver ware cause they didn't have any when we were seated. When she brought us silver ware she only brought four sets for the 6 of us.. and placed two of the in front of a three year old who promptly started playing with the knife.
