This used to be my go to when I was craving garlic bread and a salad. This last mishap will be the last time I ordered from them because I don't like supporting businesses with lazy employees. My garlic bread came with the baguette cut straight through the middle in two slices with garlic butter on only half of the bread and the other half just bread barely even toasted... anybody that's ordered from this restaurant knows damn well that's not how their bread comes it's usually a loaf that has been sliced like Texas toast. I was specifically craving their garlic bread the way that it is usually made I have ordered it many times before and every time it's come the same except for this time. I also put in the instructions to add a side of feta cheese and an extra side of dressing for my salad and came with no dressing at all and no side of feta. Not only do they not know how to follow instructions but I didn't even get a single sauce to go with my salad I had to eat it like that and caviar wouldn't even give me my full refund this place is trash I will never order from here again. read more

Their "deep dish" is a scam. Not deep dish at all, all your paying for is higher crust.

The Pizza is good. However, I'm writing this review to draw attention to the Wings. They have two types they make, Buffalo and Barbecue. I have ordered both and both times been left disappointed. The chicken itself is not great, but it's edible, but the hardest thing to get past is that they "ALWAYS" drench it in the buffalo and barbecue so much so that all your struggling to do is get past the tartness of the sauce. My recommendation for this place would be to just re-access how to make wings, and stop adding so much damn sauce. It's not even fair, because people don't get what they paid for. I would order this more if there was less sauce, because the portions provided (about 8+ wings) is pretty decent. read more

Not sure about some of these reviews. Seriously, this is very decent compared with other pizza places that deliver in the area. They always delivery early and are very polite. High quality, fresh toppings. My only suggestion would be to let us know when you order pesto as a topping on the cheese pizza, they remove the regular tomato sauce. We received a coupon delivered to our door so decided to try Purple Pizza. I arrived to pick up our order and the pizza was hot and fresh tasting. For a little neighborhood place my husband and I feel the pizza is really good. We had stopped in one time and ate there. Wasn't the best but it was at the bottom of our hill and the closest. So we decided the other night to order a pizza and had it delivered. The pizza is always delicious! The Rockridgian is a favorite of our family. The big downside is location - East Oakland border. I wish they were further south on MacArthur or in downtown San Leandro. Definitely worth checking out. read more
