Wow how disappointing..This morning was my second visit at around 830 am..whice is hard to explain .my friend ordered house steak and eggs , medium rare steak whice was more on the well done than medium side so it was sent back the next steak was on the really rare side so it was a loss ...i had the chili burger medium and it was well done .it was suppose to be red bean chili whice is standard on any chili burger I have ever had in the usa..and I did see one or two beans but it was mostly hamburger very dry tasteless meat the was not only on my burger but all over my fries .I guess I missed reading that on the menu ( smothered fries ) whice im not fond of ..i tryed adding Tabasco and ketchup to the chili but it didn't help..i ate about 1/4 of it .and couldn't go it..( the waitress took off $4.off the check whice should of been written off ...my friends potatoes were kinda of dry and over cooked ...2 weeks ago I was here for breakfast ,chicken fried steak whice was very tasty .but the gravy really needs some work...in the top 2 worst gavies ive ever had...my buddies steak on this morning was really good .whice is why we came back the 2nd time .but ,he and I both agreed there will be no third time .it's to pricey for the quality to take another chance ...TRY MR EGG ,on 73rd and Washington st..its always awsome! read more

There was a lot of food. It was reasonable price and the servers kept hubby's coffee cup full. Had huge sausages wrapped in my pancakes.

My family and I visited this restaurant on our way to Denver one Saturday morning. We chose the restaurant because we had not been there before, and because it had a 4+ star rating. We left wondering how in the world they had ever received a rating over 2 stars! The staff appeared to take the order, and then again to bring it to the table, but we had to ask the person busing tables to get our ticket. The food was cold, dry, and every bit of it overcooked. The noise level was also an issue. The place was crowded and no effort seemed to have been made (carpets, drapes, etc.) to dampen the sounds of the conversations, scraping chair legs on the tile floors, etc. This is definitely one place I'll not be returning to. read more

I get downright excited whenever I'm in this area. This is a no BS, give em what they want, down to earth food establishment. It's all about the food and value here. Employees are always happy and ready to refill coffee/water. You can't beat their Greek menu items and burgers are fantastic. I bumped this up from four to five stars because they have taken a 30 breakfast burrito order for me on the fly and had me out the door in under 30 minutes. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE & this is coming from a girl who works in the service industry. My fiancé and I are in town and found this place. Pictures looked good and we were excited to eat here but after the waitress brought us our wrong drinks she completely ignored us! She kept telling people to sit in her section and would start taking their orders before ever coming to check on us. After waiting 30 minutes we got up and left! Awful! Stay away! I went here based on the great yelp reviews and I have to say the food was awful! We got seated and were able to order right away. We got our food pretty quickly and the waitress was nice. My husband ordered the lunch special steak sandwhich and had to send it back because it wasn't cooked enough. It was very rare when he had ordered it medium well. I had the fish and chips and the fish had an order to it almost a bleach-like smell. I tried the fish and it was rubbery and tasted like chemical. I couldn't eat it. I told the waitress and they took it off the bill. I was very disappointed in this restaurant and will NEVER go back! read more

The food here is very good i had just a regular hamburger with an order of fries. The fries were seasoned perfectly not too salty but they were cooked perfectly. Some of the staff is not very english friendly so bbe sure to say your order clearly. But all in all a very great place to get a quick meal that is tasty. read more

I love this place. My fiance and I have been coming here for years. Their breakfast food is delicious and plentiful. I tend to stick with the skillets (the "shooting star," specifically) but I have had their other dishes and they are just as good. I took some friends to the red rooster for lunch and Was told Never to come back since I did not want to pay for a meal I was not satisfied with. I've been to this restaurant before and never complained. The food was good. I've taken friends and family there before as well. I could not believe it. This is what happened. I ordered the new york strip steak medium well and eggs. I asked if I could have grilled onions added to my potatoes. The meal also came with two pancakes. The everything was delicious, but the steak was too pink in the middle. It was medium rare. I asked the waitress if she could have to chef to cook it just a little more and that everything else was fine. ( seemed to have a bad attitude because I asked her to do this.)She really did not want to take it back. She brings it back and it was over cooked. It was well done and chewy. They gave more potatoes without the grilled onions. I tried to eat it. I put pepper on it to try to make both the steak and the potatoes taste better. I mentioned it to the waitress who offered to take back the potatoes. She brought it back a minute later and said the potatoes had onions, but not the grilled onions I ordered before. I could not taste the onions. My friend who was with me suggested that since I was not eating it, just pay for the pancakes. We called the waitress over and asked her if she would take off everything, but the pancakes. She took the receipt and said I need to talk to my boss. She comes back and said he said since you ate half you have to pay for half. I said I did not eat half. She took my receipt again and came back tore the receipt up and front of my face and said he said not to come back to the restaurant. I could not believe it. We were very nice to the waitress and never said anything out of the way. Why did they tell not to come back? Is it because I was not satisfied with my meal. I've been to this restaurant before and never had problems. I will not go back ever again! Please beware! Please beware. I did let others in restaurant know what happened. I did get an apology from a couple of workers and the manager in the restaurant. It doesn't help. I've never told never to come back to any place. They have lost three customers! So sad! read more

One of the beat places ive had the luxury of finding on a accident, fist off im with my Friend Loso, driving to grab a bite an he says Mcdonalds. I told him he was better off smoking illegal drugs, with that being said he points "how about that spot , get some brekfast burritos" ? I love this place. I have been there only once but became a fan after one visit. The food was amazing. The pancakes were fluffy and big, their home fries were very crispy on the outside, a piece of ham that came with my order was gigantic! Everything was so good. Old fashioned Diner food at it's best. I have eaten here a bunch of times and prefer their lunches/dinners to their breakfast but their breakfast are really good too as long as you have nothing to do the rest of the morning because they will put you into a coma. The portions are huge. Burgers are good and so are many of the sandwiches I really like the cheese steak. But what I usually order when I go here it the BIG GREEK SALAD with chicken. It is the standard to which all Greeks salads should be measured. They even put a couple dolmas in there and top It with a grilled peppers onions and mushrooms, a bunch of feta and it has a ton of fresh vegetables in it, served with pita bread. Home made Greek dressing and tzatziki.... It is huge and oh so good. A little off the beaten path but I tell you what this salad alone is reason to take a ten minute drive from the city into Denver's industrial district. The place is usual pretty busy as it has been around forever and has many regulars but you wont be waiting for an hour.. Try it out...While your Hipster friends are still waiting in line at Snooze, Jelly...ect ect you will be on your way back to town and glad you made the trip. read more
