What a treat Red Wagon Burger was! Staff is beyond friendly and helpful, checked on us to see how things were tasting. I mention this because this is a counter restaurant - order and find yourself a table - in most cases restaurants of this type don't give two craps how you're doing after you get your food. Kudos to the RWB staff! We ordered burgers, Hawaiian and a regular burger with fries. Hawaiian had everything you could imagine and was not skimpy on anything- burger, pineapple, cheese, tons of bacon and teriyaki sauce along with the regular fixings. Cheese burger was full of flavor! The buns are soft and fresh. Fries were hot and crispy. I ordered a shake on advice from other reviews- glad I did! So good and creamy! My only suggestion? A packet with a wet wipe for the yummy goodness gunning down your arms. Stopped by here for a quick bite and WOW! So good! It's clean and the self service kiosk was pretty cool, my little one enjoyed seeing the pictures of the food. Burgers/fish/fries were okay. They were hot juicy and had flavor but wouldn't get a second time. I thought the peach mango shake was way too sweet, my fault for adding two flavors. Our first time trying this burger place and we came all the way from Olympia. Once you enter the place, it's very clean. The food was Great! But, what really impressed us was the girl working there and taking orders. The whole time we sat there eating our food, she was cleaning the place. Wiping the tables, the door glass, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping the floor. You can actually eat on the floor because the floor was that clean.That place was so clean, you would be embarrassed to leave a mess. The meat was lean, thin sliced and well seasoned. My husband ordered the Red Wagon aka the house burger. The burger was big with plenty of toppings. It was tasty but we like our burgers seasoned. The fries were fresh and hot. The restaurant doesn't look like much, but it was clean. The only downside was the milkshakes. I was expecting fresh made but these were a pre blended shake with unreadable writing. Not exactly sure where these came from. So overall I give the food 5 stars and the shakes 1 star. read more

In my top three for best burger spots in Washington. Unsuspecting and tucked into a corner of a plaza but well worth it! Red Wagon highly recommended. My first time having Red wagon Burger and definitely won't be my last ! I had the Nashville Hot chicken burger and saying I loved it, is an understatement . From the first bite to the last, it was like fireworks going off inside my head. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. On the first visit our order was made exact everything came out well including our milkshakes unfortunately the next order everything was made correctly except for my burger and one kiddo's burger. I drove back and the person who took the order made them herself to ensure accurate. Much appreciation !!!! The last time it was an issue subbing a fish basket side with other sides they offer. We visited Red Wagon burger for dinner last night. We placed our order at the counter and found a seat. For a Tuesday night they were busy. They had a few din in customers but more take out customers. My husband ordered a hamburger combo and since I wanted to try something different than his I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with onion rings. There was a bit of wait for the food since they were busy but they brought the food to our table and were very friendly. The burger looked huge! The bun was toasted and buttery to perfection. The burger was delicious and smelled heavenly. I'm a bit picky about the type of pickles each place serves on their burgers and I thought it tasted really good. The only drawback was that it was messy to eat .... It wouldn't have been so bad if we had some wet wipes . Fries were delicious. Just the right amount of crisp on the outside but meaty on the inside. The onion rings were delicious. They were not overly battered and there were plenty. The cheesesteak was good but not the best I've had. It came with plenty of meat and it was cheesy. The bread was soft. But in my opinion the sandwich as a whole lacked in flavor. I thought it was good but it was kind of overkill with the breading on the fish, way too much for me. I would've liked more fish than the breaded part. Cherry peppers are a nice kick with grilled mushrooms and onions. Plenty of provolone cheese and tender angus beef. I'm not a huge fan of the fries with the crunchy breading but they are my daughter's favorite type. Maybe someday there will be an option to add Cheez Wiz to the Philly. Always excellent customer service with friendly, young staff. You order at the counter and pay before you eat. They also have four beers on tap and wine options. I previously gave a 5 star review to this place, because the food and service was spot on. I went there today with a friend to get lunch and the cashier was rude and disrespectful. My buddy doesn't like the mask so he wears a thick soccer scarf to cover his face, and thats thicker than the gaiter I wear around my neck to pull up and use all the time. He wears it everywhere and has never had a problem until now @ Red Wagon Burger. Well, he placed his order paid and then the cashier complained that he wasn't wearing a mask. He said he had the scarf on instead cause he doesn't wear masks. He then sat down and waited for the food. After 15 minutes and seeing someone that ordered after him leave the store he asked about the food he ordered AND PAID FOR! The cashier said it wasn't being prepared because he wasn't wearing a mask, yet she took his order and accepted his money, but said nothing about not making the food. Now this cashier is new, he and I have been in that establishment many times and I've ordered many times using Doordash as well. *We have never been treated poorly until now, and it's not just the rudeness of the cashier but the audacity to take the order and money then have us sit there (him inside and me in the vehicle) waiting for food she never intended to have made. And then the offer of a can of Coke for the inconvenience!* The owner came out and apologized, even gave up a free can of coke as a consolation after he had to complain and speak to the manager before he got a refund. A COKE? Are you kidding me? For your employee to intentionally waste someone's time and lunch hour because the scarf covering his face wasn't acceptable to her yet its been okay every other time. I would reconsider going her if the poor customer service continues. That marks the beginning of the end for a business. First the customer service, then the quality of product and then no more business. And this really pissed he and I off because we LOVE the food, but customer service like that will keep us away ALL DAY EVERY DAY. I hope the management of Red Wagon reads this and takes what I said to heart. I didn't write this for fun, I wrote this because I feel he was disrespected and the customer service had alot to be desired in resolving this issue. And again, we are both highly pissed off cause now we can't enjoy the food due to this. Have a great day, always choose happiness over suffering. I ordered the deluxe burger and my wife ordered the 2 piece fish and chips. The fish portions were huge. At first I wondered why they only had 1 or 2 piece options but as soon as I saw the size I knew why. I should've taken a picture of the burger before I started in on it. My picture below doesn't do it enough Justice. It was so good and one of the best burgers I e had in a long time. Wow! We ordered on Uber, and our food arrived within 20 minutes. Upon opening the boxes, we were in awe of the presentation and portion size. The fish and chips is advertised as having two pieces. I ordered the mushroom burger with provolone cheese and added bacon to it... because everything is better with bacon lol! I was not prepared for how big their burgers are! It was huge! I had one of those "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" moments but it tasted so good I couldn't stop! I also had fries which were pretty good as well. It took a bit for our order to be ready, but that's because everything is prepared fresh when ordered and not kept warm under a heat lamp. The fries were some of the very best we've had, and one order was more than enough for us to share (although we ordered one each). Everything was hot and fresh and delish!
