Stopped there today about 1:15-20pm. I ordered a Philly and shake to go. Kid behind counter said, "we don't have shakes right now". I asked why..he said. "We're busy.." then he says, "uh..machine is not working...". So I get Philly to go. There was 3 tables..1 older couple and 2 other moms with kids..all had drinks and waiting for food. BUT... I noticed a guy came in(maybe door dash or other) and he had no problem getting his order INCLUDING a milkshake. So the guy just lied to me..nice way to do business. After reading rave reviews on Facebook about the burgers, my family and I had to give this new location in Puyallup a try! For a Saturday afternoon, it took about 15 minutes, maybe less to get our order. Warning! The burgers are messy -BUT- are VERY tasty and filling!! The Red Wagon Burger is packed with so many sautéed mushrooms and onions, but the bottom part of the bun gets soggy and falls right apart. Not a total deal breaker though. Just be prepared for a LOT of toppings and have napkins handy before digging in! The Mozzarella Sticks were just okay. They also do not come with any marinara sauce. The onion rings and fries are delish! You get quite a few for the price. One order of either could easily be split between two people. Will definitely try this place again! Have eaten here several times in the last few months. Unfortunately after tonight, we won't be returning for a while. If at all. If tonight is any indication of how the owner treats customers, no thanks. Tonight we came in and ordered our meal for 3. It was almost $60. I tipped $14. My boyfriend asked for a burger and onion rings then was asked if he wanted a drink. He said "yes please". Fast forward to the food arriving. 2 of the meals came out several minutes before the 3rd. *No big deal. It finally comes out but with fries. *No big deal he says I wanted onion rings. Waitress takes food away. Comes back with the same plate, and receipt and rudely tells us we didn't pay for onion rings and it's $1 more. *Again no big deal. She takes the food away again. It's been several minutes now since the first 2 meals were dropped off. He still has no meal. I go up to the counter to great the cook being mad about it and the girl saying I told them they need to pay the difference. You can tell he was not impressed. Again, it was a dollar that I already agreed to pay. So she brings the food out and gives me a check and held me I need to pay it as soon as possible. Not after I've eaten, no I'll come back for it.... just a "Hurry up and give us our dollar!!" Not one apology for the mistake on their part just a disgusting attempt to make sure we didn't scam them out of a dollar. Considering we just paid $60 for our meal and THEY messed up, I'm disgusted they acted like that over $1 . Heard a few things about this place, so decided to give it a try. It was worth it! I had a bacon cheeseburger, which was huge. I couldn't finish it. It was super messy in a good way, with grilled onions spilling out. The fries are very tasty, with a crispy coating. My husband had a Philly cheese steak. He enjoyed it, although would have loved some onions and peppers on it. The bread was okay, but not the best. We also tried some fried zucchini and jalapeno poppers, both tasty. I tried this place because of all the reviews saying how great it is. Big mistake. We got kids burgers and asked for them to be plain with no toppings just meat and cheese but instead we got burgers with sauce, black pepper, pickles and some other crap. My kids are picky and would not eat it so that was a complete waste of money. I got the blue cheese burger with no sauce but instead of course I got sauce and some very green soggy blue cheese. This was the only place we could get a good steak and cheese in the area. Unfortunately, they have changed the way they make them. I think there's new ownership or something. My wife and I were hungry for a burger so we stopped into red wagon, I'm definitely glad we did. The outside isn't anything flashy it looks like a mom and pop shop. The inside was clean and almost full of people. The line moved very fast and the woman behind the counter was upbeat, courteous and in a good mood. She was working very hard I saw her working as a cashier, checking on tables and cleaning/bussing tables. I ordered a deluxe burger and my wife got the fish and chips. The burger is well served juicy and tasted fresh. The fish and chips was also quite good. At first I was worried because the fish and chips was only a 2 pc but when we opened the container we saw the pieces of fish were huge! Not to mention the best part, the French fries are sooo good! This is a tough one to write because I initially selected 1-star, but there were two redeeming factors in play. This restaurant was recommended by a friend and we are always up to try new places, especially small-businesses. The shopping center is accessible on WB 112th and SB Meridian and located in the corner of the building. Easy parking. There were a handful of tables with counter ordering and table serving. There were a few items within the online menu that were not available in-store to include the wraps. I ordered the BBQ burger with fries and a drink and my son ordered the chicken tenders and fries. I also ordered a lettuce-wrap burger (not on the menu, just say no bun) for take out. Each order is prepared as they come in so there is a short wait, but that is expected. My order arrived and it did not have bacon, onion ring, or BBQ sauce, but was drenched in the house sauce. I kindly brought my burger to the counter with my receipt and showed the lady. She kindly took it back and said she will get it taken care of. My seat was facing the entry to the kitchen so it was not difficult to see the confrontation between the lady (counter employee) and kitchen staff of two (one was the manager). Yes, there was actually a quiet small argument. The lady came to my table and asked for the receipt and I kindly asked what was going on. She did not hesitate to explain her namer and cook said there was no BBQ burger ordered and she was wrong. I smiled and handed her the receipt with my correct order to substantiate her claim. I actually saw the manager return an attitude to the lady and the cook take the burger back. Within a minute the cook handed the lady (who had returned to to the counter to serve other customers) and set my order down. She promptly picked my tray up and took it back to the kitchen and pointed at the burger. She came to my table and explained the cook just poorly scraped the house sauce off and slapped on BBQ sauce and an onion ring leaving the burger soggy, cold, and incorrect. She said they will make an entirely new burger and fries for me. Well, by the time I got the burger, the take out order was on the table and the other members of my party were done eating, so I got my burger to go also. I told the lady thank you for your work, but I was very disappointed in the kitchen staff. I also showed her two other people at my table had items placed within their burgers, that were specifically requested not be and was on their receipt also. I was not going to bother talking with the manager based on the prior altercation and mistrust of his counter employee. I was told the burgers were good and so were the fries, but by the time I was able to eat my food, it was cold and fries were soggy. I am giving two stars for the integrity of the counter employee as she did exactly what was necessary to make sure I got what I ordered. I do not expect to be given things or compensated for every mistake a restaurant makes, but there was not even an "I am sorry for the mix-up" verbal from ANYONE except the cashier lady. I would love to try their burger again, but may not be at this location with the management and kitchen staff's behavior during my visit. Anyone else have a similar incident? Went here to check it out after a shopping trip at the mall so me and my girlfriend were VERY hungry. We ordered a chicken sandwich and a deluxe bacon burger. The sandwiches looked great and were a decent size. They were very messy and wet though. Maybe there were too many onions. The onions were not very flavorful at all and were cut to various different sizes. Both sandwiches seemed to completely lack seasoning as did the fries. The fries tasted only like grease and would greatly benefit from a little salt. Service was decent enough. We paid $27 or so dollars with a tip for these meals and I can't say at all it was worth it. They need to add some flavor here and get the moisture under control and they might have a decent burger spot. read more

When this business first opened, they had a lunch special that was worth fighting over parking for; not now. The food is good but the prices for a burger joint in a strip mall are crazy. Just had 2 burgers, 1 fry and 1 soda and it was $33.50 with a 15% tip. You order at the counter and they bring your food and you clean up after yourself.
