UPDATE THEY REMOVED THE ARCADE AND NOW ITS A TAKE WINDOW 2022 SHAME ON THEM!
    Clark G.

Updating my review. This place when to shit fast. In 2018 they removed the arcade and turned it into a take out counter. EVERYTHING IS EXPENSIVE, LOW QUALITY, AND SMALL PORTIONS. This used to be a fun place, now it's a greedy dump with no charm. Shame on you Redamaks owners.

    Cheap bread.

My second time here and I won't be back. You charge so much for basically fast food. The burger wasn't great. The gluten free bun was an absolute joke. The smoothie was syrup. What did I spend $17 on?

This place has been here forever. I haven't been here in like 25 years. It's just as I remember it. Same wooden booths. I had a vanilla shake which was really good. Mozzarella sticks were average. They did give you a lot of them for the money. My nephew got the spicy chicken sandwich that was great. Looked amazing! Hamburgers are what they are known for. Everyone liked theirs. Our server was very friendly & accommodating. But the chicken wrap wasn't edible. My niece had one bite. Chicken was rubber & had no flavor. Stick to burgers & shakes.

Great service! Our server was so nice and she has been here 45 years. She is the BEST! We had the Wilson and Buffalo burgers and both were delicious

Mainstay of their business is the burger. Chili dog is good. Wife thought it a tad spicy. Fries complement!!

Nice place for family with younger children. Even older folks, too! A family was celebrating "Grandpa" birthday in nearby booth. It's very casual. Solid food with CASH ONLY payment or maybe check. No cards accepted. Although I think they had a debit card ATM. Their sign said they close at end of season which is maybe toward end of October....??

This is a place we look forward to visiting each summer. Good burgers, old school vibes, and the place is always packed. We were seated within 10 minutes on a busy August Saturday. The prices are pretty high, but that's what you get in a tourist city.

It's a very cute place, very nostalgic and a fun interior. The service was great. The prices are really reasonable and it has a big menu. Definitely great for families. The burger was good but not great. I wish the meat was seasoned. It seems like the meat quality is pretty good. The fries are also very plain. We enjoyed the cheese curds although they are kinda salty. My husband really liked the buffalo cauliflower. The coleslaw is basic but decent. I would come back but won't expect great. Just decent diner type food.

I liked the burger, coleslaw, and onion rings here. I did not like the fries. They are hard and chewy. Staff was nice. Cash only is a pain but they do have an ATM. I would return to try some other things.

I was in southwestern Michigan and needed a burger. This is a cash only business. My tip is to ask for half fries and half onion rings.

I love animals, so it didn't bother me that we were seated between 2 tables both with large dogs that were almost on us. But, for non dog people, it might be nice to have an area without. The vibes & decor is so cute. Mid century modern with pastel colors. Reminds me of Palm Springs. Our server was so sweet & offered menu suggestions. For a drink, I went with the post limon beer. It was so refreshing. Seriously one of my favorites for summer. Shareable plates is the way to go. We got to try more menu items. We started with the bread service. It came with whipped hot honey butter. So good. Next was the watermelon salad with cucumber, jalapeños, and Cojita cheese. Refreshing & delicious. Last up was the chicken sando & Cajun seasoned French fries with an aioli. The sandwich was crispy & the bun was soft. I loved it. The fries were crispy & perfect. The amount of fries was great, but I could have had more of the aioli or ketchup also. We didn't get dessert, although the 3 on the menu looked amazing. Maybe next time. Can't wait to come back.

The prices are a tad high, but this is definitely a fun spot to meet friends or family in town for a visit! I was surprised to learn from 7a-1p, through Labor Day the outdoor seating belonged to Infusco, the food truck located on the property which serves coffee, cold brews and assorted breakfast items, which is a great option if you're staying in downtown New Buffalo and want a casual outdoor quick bite and coffee! There is a host stand located outside and indoors which makes checking in for reservations convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful and our server made sure to explain their tapas-style dining. The menu had a great variety of apps and entrées and they had tasty and fun cocktail options. We enjoyed most of our food, we all loved the grilled chicken Caesar salad and bang bang shrimp; however, felt the scallops were just ok. Overall, the food was tasty and served hot. Street parking and an outdoor pay parking lot are located nearby.
