We absolutely loved the setting. We sat overlooking the Allegheny and the bridge. It was a very relaxing setting. The menu looked really good but we went for the all You can eat crab legs. Please don't be fooled by the link to their menu on Yelp because it is outdated. The all You can eat crab legs are 69.99 per person. They were good. They weren't the best crab legs which you would think they would be for the price. They were broken, not great color, and some had no meat in them, which would indicate a lower quality crab at a premium price. We get all you can eat crab legs at the beach for 60.00 each and they are amazing. Very large whole clusters with great color. I would likely not get eg crab legs again but we will definitely go back and try some other dishes. The service was pretty good in the beginning but we found ourselves waiting quite a while for refills. The refills came out one plate at a time for 6 people. Needless to say the plate was empty instantly and left us waiting for another. The drinks were all very good. Hoping to take a bike ride down next time. We have passed it previously on bike rides. They are right on the bike trail so very convenient if you ride bikes in the area. I will leave another review next time we go and we don't eat crab legs everything looked delicious. read more

This restaurant is a waterfront spot that serves primarily seafood. I'm not going to lie, I was really excited to try this place but was let down. The food is a little below average and the service was alright. The scenery of the water front was obviously something you can't beat and it was comfortable for the time being. We ordered the crab cake and nachos for an appetizer and the crispy shrimp, fish tacos, and chicken sandwich for entrees. In the appetizers, the nachos were similar to what you could get at a sporting event and the crab cake was priced high but was not good and actually had a few shells in it that I tasted. What we also found unattractive was the pre-packaged sauces that they put on the plate in plastic containers. Makes us wonder the date and freshness of the ingredients. The entrees were alright but as I said, nothing special. I most likely won't go back, and probably wouldn't recommend to others. read more

The food is okay. Nothing that would make me want to go back. The all you can eat crab legs were the way to go, I should have done that. Every time my water was empty, I had to ask for a refill. That was very annoying. Then the waiters shift was over so he asked us to pay the bill because he wanted to get out of there. So once he left, nobody took over and we were stuck sitting there until finally asking someone if we could get some more drinks. It wasn't the best time or the best food. read more

We told him friends just came in on their boat could they sit at the table next to us ...he preceded to tell us everything would be on one check !!! Because we knew them !!! Sand, shards of broken mussel shell, and the mussels were a tad old. I could not eat them; got through about half of them and left the rest. I came to this place with my bf on a Sunday night, the service was pretty good which is why the food and prices really disappointed me. They are charging $22 for a lobster roll that tastes like it came out the freezer with more bread than lobster. Pretty much everything we got here was sHIT for the amount of money we wasted. My family comes here often on a nice day and we are always happy with our meals and service. The atmosphere is the best part. I had the SoCal salad which features a tangy chipotle ranch dressing but has all the characteristics of a perfect southwest salad. Peel 'n eat shrimp is always a must. The service was super,everyone enjoyed their meal, and sitting outside on a warm evening topped it off. Our order included Buffalo shrimp, coconut shrimp salad, margarita pizza, Buffalo chicken wrap, and a trio seafood salad. One person also had a a strawberry daiquiri and one had a white wine. Great view from the deck. The food and service were decent. A plus that the waitress seemed to be knowledgeable about gluten. They specialize in seafood, but my salmon was a tad overdone and did not meet the usual standard for "blackened." (Reddened, maybe?) All things considered, I will likely return to meet friends or as a stop along my bike ride, but only when the weather allows for outdoor seating by the river. This little oasis is the perfect summer spot! With a deck right on the water, it makes you feel like you're on a little vacation. My friends and I sat outside one evening for dinner. We started with the nachos with chicken that was covered in melty cheese, jalapeños, lettuce, sour cream and salsa. For my meal, I ordered the seafood Caesar salad with blackened salmon. I really enjoyed it! My friends ordered the grilled salmon sandwich and the sausage and peppers flatbread. Both of my friends raved about their meals! Our waiter was great and checked in often. The location of this Restaraunt was a little tricky to get to, but well worth it! The patio was a wonderful place for a late afternoon lunch with my girlfriends and we really enjoyed the river view. Our server was excellent and very attentive. Everything came quickly & exactly as ordered. Our apps were pretty good, nothing spectacular. My friends loved their lobster rolls, but anyone who got a salad was feeling extremely underwhelmed. The seafood salad I ordered (for $22) claimed to have lump crab meat, but it was all just crumby crab. No lumps to be found. The lobster was pretty good, but the shrimp, although good sized, were a little soft and very bland. It came with a lemon vinaigrette that had ZERO taste to it. I ate about half the salad and just quit eating. The only thing that had any flavor was the roasted red peppers, the corn was completely bland and had onions in it, even though That wasn't in the description. I mean it was just terrible, and I never thought a salad could be bad!!! We also had a tuna Caesar salad, which was also pretty bland & didn't even have croutons on it. They tasted as though thawed from frozen then cooked. I wonder if my tuna was thawed in a microwave first then cooked. Because it wasn't just overcooked but chewy. If there were any specials last night, our waitress didn't bother to tell us any. And when my husband asked for a full bottle of ketchup, she took the empty and never came back with a new bottle. We had to get one from the table next to us. HOWEVER the location is wonderful! So for drinks only and hanging out on the river Redfin Blues gets 1 star. Terrible service. Terrible food. Very disappointing first time experience. My family and I had dinner at Redfin Blues for the first time last night and were beyond disappointed with our experience. Normally, I am very easy to please when it comes to dining out, but was not the case this time. My sister-in-law and her husband were in town for the weekend so we thought it would be great to celebrate dinner with all you can eat crab legs for the six of us, which are advertised on the restaurant's website. When we sat down after waiting for 30 minutes, we were told that they had ran out of crab legs. Now I could have understood if it was a weekday, but it was the weekend and the restaurant should have known it would be busy with people primarily wanting to eat the all you can eat crab legs. There is no excuses for that. My sister in law ordered salmon and took one bite of it to discover it was severely under-cooked and cold in the middle. My father in law had asked for another bottle of ketchup since the ketchup bottle on the table was completely empty and the waitress brought another bottle that was near empty. We both ordered beer battered fish sandwiches that were some of the smallest that we had ever seen. My wife ordered the crispy fried shrimp entree and received 8 small shrimp for $19.99? My mother in law ordered the Mussels Margherita entree and never received a side plate for the shells. We all ordered water with our meals and were given refills very late into our meals after waiting the entire meal. Just a very disappointing experience for a restaurant that I had heard such great things about. No manager even came over to ask how our meals were. Nobody seemed to care at all. This has been one of my favorite spots for so many years, but the management is awful now. Not only were there many tables open, we were harrassed to a point we all ended up leaving. party of 12 - but no one wanted to split the bill on one check (policy) so we didn't get seated at a table. we hung around at bar and then got harrassed there as well. some friends wanted a meal, some wanted drinks. the manager made us close out every order which prevented more orders bc no one wants to get charged over and over for a credit card fee. it was my birthday and honestly this dampered the evening. i have never seen an establishment try to get people to leave. they were not busy, we were not causing trouble. they were not female friendly either. my friend who is gay got a table no problem, super accommodating and he asked for same accommodations I did. we tried as an experiment. The atmosphere is fun and it was a Friday night so it was very busy, being as we're from the industry we expected a wait and luckily there was room at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and we had great apps and service at the bar! However when we got to our table, it had slowed down and our server was basically non existent. She took our order and then gave us our check. I had never had a lobster roll so that's what I got as my meal and for $22 I expected real lobster, it wasn't, and the flavor was not good and very off putting. I'm giving this restaurant a 4 star rating. Three of us and food was good and atmosphere was great but I have to say drinks were way too high. This was no fancy restaurant, casual restaurant I would classify it as. Cheapest wine was $11.50 a glass and my husbands drink was $14.00. You should have a house wine for around $8 or at least $9 at the most. We go to a lot of nice restaurants and I never, ever pay that much for wine. It will curtail me from coming there. I love the outdoor vibe here. It's in a great part of town. I especially love that it's dog friendly. I'm probably the worst person to review this place because I don't eat shellfish/seafood and they have bottomless crab legs. I think the menu has a decent variety of dishes. The pretzel is meh. The chicken sandwich is great and the fries are crunchy and delicious. I especially enjoy the bar area - and pre covid it was a great place to hang out. During covid it's nice to grab a to go cup and since you're along the trail you can walk around. In the past I've gone for a jog and met friends there for a snack or drink. We went here for dinner on a Tuesday night. The "off season" was quickly approaching for this place (they shut down for fall and winter) and folks have been telling us we need to get there and try it. So we did. It wasn't busy at all. We easily found a parking spot and walked over to the deck. When we arrived at the deck, we were instructed to sit wherever we liked, so we chose a table next to the water. The view here is great and you can't really deny that. We looked over the drinks menu and I decided on a tropical beverage and the hubs opted for a beer. The tropical drink was good, but expensive. Was maybe 8 oz, and cost around $9. For eats, we opted to try the seafood fritters ($10) to start. I ordered the fried shrimp dinner ($19) and the hubs ordered the mussels margherita dinner ($16). The fritters came out right away. They tasted okay (a bit mushy in the middle for my taste) and came with a sweet thai chili sauce. The food came out shortly after. There were 7 shrimp, fries and coleslaw with my dinner. Again, the breading on the shrimp seemed undercooked and a bit mushy in the middle. Not sure, but they may not have had the oil up high enough on the fryer. The fries were crispy and tasty though. The slaw was, by far, the best item on the plate. I really enjoyed the slaw. The hubs got about 20 - 25 mussels over his pasta. The pasta was done correctly and the mussels tasted good. The only issue was there was no bread served with the dish. Usually the best thing about getting mussels is the bread to soak up all the sauce. All in all, it wasn't a horrible experience, but it definitely was more pricey than we'd prefer for the quality of the food. The service was good, our server was friendly and helpful. We've never been there while they are busy, so it's possible the service suffers in those situations. Would we go back? Probably not on our own. Would we object if a friend suggested it for a night out? No. Like I said it wasn't a horrible experience. I just don't think this will become a regular spot for us. read more

But I decided to give it one more try and they failed miserably. The service at the restaurant is horrible. No one approached our table for 15 minutes. I had to go to the bar and ask if someone would wait on us. They looked confused and finally was approached by a server. Yes, we ordered and received our food. But they NEVER came back to check on us. I paid $16 for a sandwich and fries, but did not receive the fries. I.could not find our server to get my fries or another drink.
