Hey if you want to look like a clown, go see owner Pam to hook you up. I've been going to her for years for cuts and have been growing my hair out during the past 18 months. I thought it was time to go in for a trim. I asked for a cut, go up to two inches off. She asked do I want layers and I said no. Well, layers happened, plus way more than two inches, more like 4-5 inches of my snipped hair lay upon the floor. I had also asked for brown underneath my blond at the nape of my neck. So one usually would take the last bottom inch or so of your hair at the nape of the neck and color away. I noticed she was talking with her coworkers and other customers and I asked her "aren't you going up a little too high?" as she worked her way to the crown of my head. She insisted no, it's going to look great. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Check the picture Yelp readers, check this disaster out. I asked that she fixed it and she said she could put in a few foils of highlights. I'm not sure just a few foils of highlights at the dark part is going to fix it and we discussed it further and she insisted that would do it. While she did put in the foils of course they didn't come out very blonde and they were very sparse. Along the way she kept trying to redirect the blame. I went home and I put a few low lights in the top half of the back of my head to try to balance this thing out. I will not be returning to Pam, obviously. read more

I hired Pam to do my wedding hair/make up. She had done a color/cut for me in the past and my mom goes to her. My mom had mentioned my wedding at one of her appointments and Pam said that she can do my wedding hair for $40 and make up for $25, lashes would be an additional $5. When I called to speak with her, she didn't have a portfolio, however, since I'd gone to her before and the price was reasonable I went for it and she said that if I wasn't happy with it I didn't have to pay. I went to my trial and it went fine. She overcharged me $5 but I didn't say anything because what's $5 and I don't mind paying for good service. Two weeks before my wedding, she changed her availability time and price. I called to see if I could change the hairstyle and also let her know that it would just be me needing make up/hair services (originally all of my bridesmaids were going to do their own hair and make up except, one bridesmaid would need her hair done and one bridesmaid would need her make up done). She said the hairstyle change was no problem, but since my appointment was so early (7:00am) she would need to charge me additional. I told her that that had never been discussed and we had scheduled 7:00am months ago, for my ceremony at 10:00am. She then said, it was because it would just be me, rather than the one additional hair/make up. I said that the price she gave me was never contingent on the number of people needing services. She finally agreed to 7:00am for the original quoted price. Two minutes later she called me back and said she could only do 8:00am. 8:00am doesn't work because hair/make up takes a conservative hour and a half which would mean I would have 30 minutes to drive home, change into my wedding dress, get my baby ready, drive to the venue, park and be at my ceremony ready to walk down the aisle by 10:00am. Anyone with any kind of common sense would know that that's impossible. Based on previous reviews, there appears to be a pattern of Pam charging prices over what was originally quoted. For that reason alone, I wouldn't recommend going to her. Additionally, she doesn't have compassion for her clients. The options she gave me were to either pay a higher price for services/prices that were already agreed on or be late to my wedding two weeks prior to the day. True, I don't have to hire her (which I'm not, I'm going with someone else), however, finding someone else to do wedding hair/make-up for a date in two weeks isn't the easiest thing to do. Most reputable vendors would have already been booked so she knowingly put me into a corner and was okay with it. I think that she would say that as a business owner it's not worth it to come in that early for one person. However, she never mentioned that in the months prior when it was originally scheduled. The price was never contingent on the number of services or the appointment time. As consumers, there are a lot of choices and there are plenty of other vendors that are accommodating, that truly care about their customers and stick to the price originally quoted so why go with someone that doesn't. read more

This is my second time getting my hair done at Reflection Salon with my girl Tram. She did an amazing job on my hair! I had long, over grown roots and an out grown lob. She worked her magic on me and gave me exactly what I wanted. It was was very close to my inspirational picture that I showed her. I'm ready to take my engagement photos!! Thanks Tram! In terms of the salon itself, it is easy to find and near I-5. The owner is nice and she keeps her salon in immaculate condition. It's so clean and updated. Also, this is the first salon that I've been to, that has a mobile charging station for everyone to use, staff and clients. Overall, I recommend this salon and my hair dresser Tram. This review is regarding the owner Pam. When I first got to the salon she seemed surprised to see me and said that she messed up the dates and thought I was coming on the 11th. I looked back at the texts and it clearly stated May 4th @ 11:30. I even heard her tell her coworker that I was the one who got the appointment incorrect. I also realize mistakes happen so I brushed it off. She told me to wait for awhile since she over booked, which turned out to be her doing my hair between two other people. Short version of the story was I didn't mind the wait but when it came to completing my highlights I felt like the process was rushed, although professionals can do hair fast she worked on my highlights for about 20 minutes max. When we finished washing my hair I realized she didn't get to my roots which I feel is the main part of going in to get your highlights retouched. She said "some people like it like that," which again sure but I feel like if I am saying I'm unhappy with something it should be acknowledged. I mentioned it turned out yellow/brassy and she said it is 25 extra for toner. She kept saying I was getting a deal because of the Groupon and I made an effort to pay her cash rather than purchasing a Groupon so she could get her full amount. (I knew if I didn't do that she would only get a small profit) I don't mind paying for toner on my own but was upset mostly about the roots. It's unfortunate because I felt she was a nice woman overall but wouldn't go again because I didn't feel valued as a paying customer and left having to do my own color correction. I toned with the color she recommended and my hair is brown again without highlights... waste of a 100 dollars. read more

Went to Reflections Salon had a appointment with Pam. Went in and we talked about what I wanted done a color cut and highlight. The when it was time to start she had her daughter Ashley do it. She didn't even have her hair license she was only a apprentice. Pam did not ask me if it was okay her daughter did my hair or tell me that he daughter was not fully licensed. I found out one Ashley told me she was still going to cosmetology school when she was doing my hair. She said she doesn't want to go to school for hair and only doing it because her mom was making her she did say she likes to updos. her Pam had to come over and correct her during the process. Then it was time to cut my hair which I think it was her first hair cut Ashley totally messed that up and it took her about a hour and a half couldn't even cut my bangs straight. When Pam finally came over to fix it I had been there a total of more then six hours! My hair looked terrible I was so upset and Pam knew it she also charged me $10 more then what she had told me it was going to be. And that quote was for Pam to do my hair no a apprentice to do my hair you are not spouse to charge full price for that. I also noticed Pam doesn't treat her employees very well. I called back the next day and told het I was not happy at and there not enough highlights Pam did not care very bad customer service. I would never deal with her again! I could have stayed home and had my own daughter do that for me and saved my money. read more

Her response says it all on her professionalism. I have plenty of emails to show the type of service we received and the aftermath of our experience. Please be cautious. I wish my bad experience ended with my review. As you can tell Pam is not leaving us alone and still saying untrue statements. We there for at most 1 hr. We couldn't wait to leave and the sweet other stylist said to stay so that she could fix it since it was that bad. Unfortunately we have harassed and attacked. Please be cautious. read more

Artika did a great job with cutting and styling my hair. She was patient and listened to what I was hoping for and styled my hair exactly how I asked. Tanya, who did my nails, was fabulous. She made sure that I was happy with my nails and gave me tips on how to care for them. I never knew what sculpting gel was, but now I know thanks to her. Tanya is rather pricey, but I am now convinced that it is worth it. The only reason I gave this salon a 3-star rating was because of how the business owner, Pam, handled my concerns about Groupon pricing, etc. She simply lacks the customer service skills necessary to build rapport with clients and maintain their loyalty. She argued, became defensive, spoke untruthfully, blamed others and redirected the blame on the stylist and my hair, and claims that the stylist set her own prices and she doesnt get anything! Her story and defense kept changing so much in such a short period of time, and the fact that she is willing to argue with a customer in the presence of other customers was a clear statement of her customer service and people skills. read more

Came here from Sacramento took 45 min with traffic only to walk out since the owner tried to sales talk me and do a huge mark up for more than what the Groupon stated ! I have never tried this salon before and I'm glad I didn't ! The Groupon was discounted to 45 and she wanted to charge me 50 dollars more for having below the shoulder length hair then said my hair is dry (add on deep conditioning ) and she said that's normal and in the fine print ! I have been going to Pam for over 21 years. I have NEVER personally experienced, nor observed anyone else, having a problem with her in all the years of going to her. She highlights, perms and cuts my hair every couple months. She works hard to keep her customers happy. She has a great little shop and everyone there is very nice. The negative comments, unfortunately, come with every business. But I can say without a doubt, that I and the people I've referred to Pam, are VERY happy with her work and how nicely we're treated. My husband has thick curly hair and it has been really hard to find someone that knows how properly cut his hair. Pam is amazing! I came in here about a month ago and saw a Groupon for a $95 or so Keratin treatment. I heard great things about it and I have some pretty frizzy curly hair so I thought I'd give them a try since the reviews were almost all positive as well. I call and set up an appointment and inquired about the Groupon deal as I know some places prefer to not go through Groupon as they take a portion of the money. I spoke with a girl named Artica and she advised me to not go through Groupon and that she would honor the pricing. Fair enough, I thought so I went! I go in and had a good experience. I get my hair washed and artica was very sweet. I was told that after a keratin treatment not to wash your hair until after 2 days and to use only sulfate free shampoos and conditioners as they break down the keratin. I waited 3 days to wash my hair and after I washed it; my hair was THE SAME!!!!! I didn't have a keratin treatment before so I decided that I'd give it a few more days. Well, I went on a trip and didn't bring my straightener thinking I'd be okay and my hair was so frizzy!!! I was so embarrassed and disappointed and I wanted to get it fixed but I was out of the county and I couldn't call or go in. I called a couple days ago and explained what happened and basically they refused to fix my hair unless I PAY HALF because "the products are very expensive"!!!!!! No where was this my fault and they wanted me to pay!!!!!!!! I was extremely disappointed and I advise everyone to think twice before coming here. I basically paid $100 for them to wash my hair. read more

I was going in for a mani and pedi but didn't even bother with the mani because my toes looked like it was done by my 12 year old nephew and it was a 45 minute pedicure.
