I'm pretty sure that indoor plumbing is one of those things we all take for granted in life. So what happens when it stops working? If you're anything like me, you panic and start thinking about having to shower at gym and use public restrooms. Oh the horror! We had been having a sewer smell coming out of our back to back bathroom sinks. Anderson Plumbing recommended replacing the plumbing and P-traps under both sinks to alleviate the odor. I provided new faucets for them to replace, as well, for a grand total of $1091.44 Anderson really does WOW their clients (When they give you your bill) It did not alleviate the problem. Next, they recommended sending out a drain specialist come out to further inspect the lines, to see if there is a problem with the ventilation system. They also mentioned the possibility of needing to hydro-jet the line. When Anderson's drain specialist came they gave me an estimate of $600.00 to inspect the lines with a camera and smoke. Goodbye Anderson. Hello Remedy! Remedy Rooter came out free of charge to give us an estimate. Alexander F. was great. He took the time to listen and make reasonable cost effective recommendations. We could not replicate the smell at time of inspection since we've been using an overnight enzyme treatment for the last 3 nights. Alexander recommended that we wait and see if it returns before paying for more services. If needed, Remedy Rooter will inspect the lines with a camera for $300.00, half the cost of Anderson. I have never dealt with a more honest company in my life. I had a leak under my house, which I was nervous about, because my house oinly has a crawl space, and one plumber talked about tearing my floors out to fix it! When I spoke to Daniel on the phone, he was very kind, and also not one of these plumbers who try to create fear to get you to spend more. He was very reassuring, knowing I was stressed, and he said "It doesn't sound like a big deal, if it is a leak. So I wouldn't worry to much about it!" Wow! How many plumbers tell you that?? So he came out with another coworker, who crawled under my house, and found the problem right way! Come to find out, it was a broken pipe caused by some sloppy work another contractor did. The very next day, his coworker came out and fixed it, and Daniel told me he even had him tighten up a few loose fittings while he was down there, so I wouldn't have to worry about any plumbing problems in the future. both of our bathroom sinks all of a sudden overflowed onto the floor. i contacted my property management company who sent out remedy rooter. the plumber that came out was great! professional and very nice. did not mind wearing a mask. apparently, whomever designed the condos i live in did a horrible job with the plumbing lines. both sink lines meet in the middle and go from there. the way they are shaped could have been a 'going in thru the wall to get to the pipe' issue. thankfully, he was able to get the clog snaked. he made sure lines were clear before leaving. great service! read more

We were hustled. We have a small house, one bathroom. Our kitchen sink was completely backed up, both sides wouldn't drain and our bathroom sink was slow to drain. We called them up, we had a great a experience with them a few years ago. They arrived to our house within a few hours, great quick service. Got a quote, snaked the drain from the outside cleanout, he said around 40ft. It was late the kitchen sink was working he went on his way. Next morning, bathroom sink even slower to drain now. Called him back out, he went to work, no quote provided. I assumed it was a job unfinished no extra charge. I was wrong. I would've refused service, it was only slow draining, we would've dealt. Once finished an extra $235 was requested. He told me it was separate line. He ran it on the same card. My husband was not present at this service and it was his card. The work is guaranteed for 30 days. On day 31 our kitchen no longer drains. Called them back asking if it was warrantied. They didn't answer that question and just said someone will be out shortly. The man that came out said the problem is in our main and its all one line. The backup is in between the kitchen and the bathroom and 2 charges shouldn't have incurred. And we should've been given an estimate the other time as well. My husband asked if this time would incur a charge and he said yes. He contacted someone at dispatch, explained the situation. They gave a HARD NO on the warranty. We said no thank you. We had another plumber come out, different company, and sure enough the problem was in the main. In-between the 2 areas. While the plumbers were nice and timely, only reason for 2 stars, we will not use this company ever again. We were hustled, told it was 2 different lines and it was only one. The recent high winds in San Diego (12/7) did some damage to my home which included a busted pipe. I noticed drainage issues in my kitchen sink and stationary tub in my garage at 6:15 am on a Sunday morning. I found Remedy Rooter on YELP and saw great reviews, so I called them at 6:30 am. The actual owner answered! I explained my problem and that I was having a dinner party that evening so I really needed someone to come to my home the same day. He said he could work me into their schedule and someone would arrive between 12 and 3. I said OK. I received a call at noon saying Tim would arrive at my home by 12:30 pm. Tim showed up exactly at that time and went straight to work. He unclogged my drains and even checked my main drain to be sure he didn't miss anything. Tim was the nicest guy!!
