So back in Oct 2016 I got a new sliding patio door. LOVEEEEEE IT! the crew was great that came out, they cleaned up and we're friendly! ! We had so much howling with my old door we now have no noise at all! Today 4-11-17 they are back out to install all 13 new windows to my home! Crew of 4 guys, they were on time, nice, did an AMAZING job. I would post pics of it but they are still working. The two big bosses came over to see how everything was going, to make sure I was happy. They were great too! I'm very happy with our purchase! ! My sales guy Alex is awesome too! Not pushy, I didn't feel like I had to buy anything, his demonstration for the products was on point, he let me take my time in the moment while at my house to think about the decision in was about to make, he was relaxed and cool and Knew the products. I used him for both my purchases. He stayed in touch after the deal was made and I would text him about a question concern or problem and always got right back to me. They do financing with greensky. I wish I could give a "0" rating but that is not an option. We signed a contract with Anderson November of 2021. They told us that we would have our new widows and doors (19 windows a man door and a patio door) in 3 to 4 months and that we agreed . 4 months latter I called to get an update and was told it would be middle of June. I explained that would not work and why so finally the set a date in late May mind you this is 7 months latter. They show up with all 19 windows , a door, and a patio door. They ended up with the wrong patio door, short two screens and not enough trim for the project. They then told us they would let us know when it comes in. In the mean time we have our entire living room (4windows) left with no trim and shimms sticking out. Finally they show in August to finish again short. Next they show end of September wrong materials, again December Wrong materials and again in January 2023 14 months from when it started again wrong. Now we are still waiting for them to finish but they want their money. This has been the most awful experience of our lives. I contacted the BBB and reached out to Anderson but Anderson did not respond. Here we sit still waiting. I will never recommend this company to anyone please reach out and learn about these flake as they lie and do not even try to help you. read more

Every time a commercial comes on I turn the channel because it is like chalk on a chalkboard to me. They really need to make more professional commercials. Everything went smoothly, from our our first meeting with Tim R. on March 8th to see the product, to the installation today. Tim was very nice and knowledgeable. From his demonstrations and customer videos, we decided to get 7 windows replaced. We decided getting new windows would help with the heat and the outside noise. Someone came to the house 2 days later to take measurements and they put in the order. He told us installation could take up to 3 months since they have been busy. Our windows were installed today, May 8th, 2 months after signing our agreement. The guys who installed, Zach, Zach and.... a 3rd whose name escapes me, were very nice and polite. We were told they would come at 7, which we believed would be closer to 7:30, but they were outside the house and ready to work by 6:50. It took them 4.5 hours to do the complete install which included tarping the floor area around the windows, removing the blinds, installation, vacuuming surrounding areas, window cleaning and putting back up the window dressings. So far we have not noticed our neighbors dog barking at all, which is major since everyday we want to kill it since it barks at everything passing our houses. The front room that used to be at least 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house now feels to be about the same temperature. We are very happy customers. read more

Since then they scheduled an install for 7 January, they showed up and didn't have the door knob. They informed me it was on a UPS truck and it would be in the next day. Back in November my father reached out to Renewal by Anderson to get a quote on installing a sliding glass door. The salesman Peter was very nice and knowledgeable. My father signed a contract to have them build and install the door. It was pricey, my father passed away in December, renewal by anderson sent flowers. Peter came over to inquire because they were unable to get ahold of my dad. I informed Peter that my father had passed away and I was unable to afford the door so I couldn't proceed. Fast forward to today. My son is home from work and Peter stopped by the house. Peter informed my son that the he spoke with his managers and they decided that they are going to donate the door and install it for FREE!!! I immediately called Peter and he informed me that yes, they are dontaing the door and installing it for free. The office will reach out to me to schedule a day. We wanted to get an estimate to replace the windows on our home. A lady called my wife to set it up and the whole conversation was not a good one. It was almost like they didn't want our business. When my wife mentioned we'd also like a new patio door, the customers service rep was asking why, like we should be happy with the one we have. Our home was built in the 80's, so we want to update and replace them, but this lady put a bad taste in our mouth. I came on here to see other reviews and I'm glad I did! After that phone call we decided we didn't want to go with them, but now I'm even more happy that we decided not to. We already have an estimate from Lowe's, so we might go that route. read more

IF I had offered a review at the time of installation, it WOULD HAVE BEEN a 5* rating (if I didn't include the, as always with every company, high pressured sales pitch, "Do it now, or lose today's great discount offer'). HOWEVER, I'm writing the review after a time of enjoying my beautiful patio doors for awhile. --- Until I noticed the PAINT beginning to STRIP AWAY on the door frame. I'm am now going on my THIRD WEEK of trying to get service from this company. Either 1. No answer, I leave a message, 2. Put on hold, and no one returns to continue the conversation. 3. Someone answers, and I immediately get transferred to - a continual ringing phone, or someone picks up and immediately puts me on hold. 3. They answer and say I have to try another 'division' that then starts the entire process over again. I could go on about the MANY phone calls in attempt for them to make a simple repair to their product that was raved to last for years, and years, well - you get the sales pitch - before the needed repair becomes a MAJOR repair. RENEWAL BY ANDERSON is suppose to be a very reputable company. I'm beginning to doubt that considering what I have had to go through with their personnel the past TWO PLUS WEEKS. And no, it's not COVID's fault, nor a lack of finding personnel fault, or whatever is today's excuse of the day. RENEWAL BY ANDERSON is still in business with sales pitches and sales. Our experience left a lot to be desired.. from the overly lengthy consultation to the final bid this place is solely after emptying your checking account. We consulted with seven local companies, all of which were within about 2-3k of one another for a comparable product. However, Renewal by Andersen was 4x the cost of highest quote from the other five companies. To put this into perspective the highest was 18k and renewal came in at 68k WHAT IN THE WORLD!! These windows are not fully automatic with self cleaning options.. LOL I am not sure how people justify paying the kind of money they are seeking but I can tell you they are great salesman and will Nickle and Dime your pocketbook. We were impressed with the demonstration but called back to cancel once the saleswoman left.. because I thought she would never leave! When I brought up my concerns they forwarded me to a "regional manager" who actually had construction background and he just said that we needed to talk to our salesman about the exorbitant cost... that went nowhere and since then have hired a trustworthy company who didn't try to sell us some "proprietary" product to inflate their cost. I would give zero stars if I could. High pressure sales, unfriendly installers, frames are separating and I had to have them sealed. Always heard that Anderson was the Cadillac of windows which is why I paid their exorbitant price for windows. That may have been true once but it's certainly not true anymore. Save yourself big bucks and go with someone else. Oh and one other thing to note ... I checked the warranty to see if I could get them back to fix the issue with the frames separating and it expressly says the warranty does not cover improper installation. In Reno, Richard's and Jordan's customer service was awesome. They work very well together. Both are friendly courteous and willing to go above and beyond to satisfy their customer. Very Professional. Their workmanship, ideas and quality is top notch. Prior to Richard and Jordan arriving on the scene communication with Andersen left a little to be desired. There were a couple rough patches with scheduling. My assigned rep left the company and the void was unfilled. However a visit to the shop and a conversation with Scott helped. So bad, these sales guys are sneaky people don't believe a word they say We got into a contract with them against my better judgment and I was right Here is the short version, they gave us an estimate we signed and that was OK they wanted a $4K down payment, which I know we use to be contractors or self, you should only give $1K the salesperson Larry Murphy convinced us they have to collect that amount for the materials, so we did write out a check asked them to wait until after the three days to resend just in case and we gave them a post-dated check which they promised to hold, well that was my first mistake in trusting them, they cashed it the next day so we canceled!! They called back and Larry's manager Jeff called back to renegotiate the contract, which we then agreed to and told them we will sign a new contract, that never happened they never sent a contract, I was busy for the last few months as my dad was fighting for his life and really forgot about everything else including this, now they call and say they are going to schedule for Aug of this year, this started in Feb 2022 !! so I told them we never got the new contract and I was canceling well they are refusing to cancel at this point!! I also financed the rest and they have already pulled half of the fund from the finance company, which I have them involved in at this point, I just lost my father to his battle and I don't have the fight in me so I will contact a lawyer!! Don't use these guys they are desperate, anyone that takes that much money upfront and cant ever start the job is having issues within their company. Terrible...... I will never use this company again and DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. We contracted RBA to install a 16 foot Glass door, a slider, and three windows. We were also adding a loft to our remodel. The contract stated they would get the permits, do the drawings, take care of stucco, painting Drywall etc.... They only installed the 16 foot door and Slider, 2 months late in the middle of december. Left my home wide open and never finished the job then had the balls to call me for the balance. Horrible. I made an appointment on Monday for the following Saturday (5 days later), they automatically cancelled my appointment because I didn't confirm the appointment. First, I didn't think I would have to confirm an appointment that I made 5 days prior, it's not like I made it a month ago. Second, I didn't get the voicemail due to I don't answer calls because of so many scammers. If the customer service representative would have told me they would cancel if I didn't confirm the appointment a couple days later, I would have made sure to look for the call. Substandard work, unacceptably bad customer service, lies. Time Line of Events 8/28/2021 Contracted with Peter Osuna with Renewal by Andersen in Reno, NV, to replace one window and one sliding glass patio door in two installment payments: $6836 up front and $6837 due upon completion for a total of $13673. Installments would be paid on my credit card. 8/31/2021 Received introduction email from Toriano Turner, Concierge Specialist with Andersen, for questions or concerns. 1/21/2022 Window and sliding glass door were installed. Frame and finish work to be completed later. 1/25/2022 Worker arrived to finish frame work and stucco around sliding glass patio door. We found that the worker mixed his stucco powder and water directly in our backyard lawn, and had not used a drop cloth over our paver patio, rinsed his tools directly on our paver patio and rock flower beds, tracked mixed stucco and powder across most of our paver patio, and allowed his mixing tool to fall against the side of our house slightly damaging the exterior wall and leaving its imprint in the stucco. Photos taken. Renewal by Andersen's supervisor Don was working on another project on our street, and we showed him the sloppy work and problems. Don attempted to talk with the worker, who spoke little English. Don explained to us that the worker was an Andersen subcontractor. Don apologized for the mess and poor quality of the subcontractors work, and said he'd report the problems to his boss. Photos were emailed to concierge Toriano, who acknowledged receipt. 2/26/2022 After not hearing back from concierge Toriano for over a month, we emailed him asking for the project completion status. 2/28/2022 Concierge Toriano emailed an apology and wrote that he'd follow up and find out whats going on. 3/3/2022 Called the Renewal by Andersen office at 702-912-5037 to find out what was being done to clean the mess. Was connected to manager Yvette and explained that stucco and stucco powder mix had now bonded to our patio pavers, and that concierge Toriano was unresponsive to our communications. 3/4/2022 Finish work including the painting of interior and exterior house frame around the sliding glass door done by Renewal by Andersen's Scott Paul. We showed him the problem with the stucco mix and powder having bonded to patio pavers. He said his boss would contact us that same day. His boss never called. 3/7/2022 Scott used his power washer to attempt to remove the stucco and powder mix that bonded to the patio pavers. Some stucco came off, but the power washer also ablated (eroded) the pavers and blew out the polymeric sand used by paver installers as mortar. The paver patio is now discolored and stained, eroded in places, and without mortar between pavers. Photos taken. 3/8/2022 After hearing nothing back from concierge Toriano, we again emailed him for a project completion date. No response was received. 3/8/2022 Renewal by Andersen's Scott left a voice message with transcription on my cell phone. He said "I was just giving you a call back about this picture. My boss saw those pictures again this morning and I think our best bet is just to replace your pavers. If you give me a call back when you can we can talk more about that and then I could have my management give you a call to see what the best route is or something like that. Just please give me a call back so we can get this resolved as possible." 3/9/2022 Called Scott after receiving his voice message. He once again said his boss would call me. His boss never did. 3/10/2022 Texted Scott stating that I hadn't heard from his boss. 3/17/2022 Renewal by Andersen charged the remaining balance of $6837.00 to my credit card. 3/23/2022 Called Renewal by Andersen manager Yvette at 702-912-5037 and left a voice message re-stating that stucco powder had bonded and discolored our patio pavers, that Scott's power washing eroded the pavers and blew out the mortar, that I had Scott Paul's voice message stating that his boss felt the best thing was to replace the damaged pavers, and that nothing had been done to solve the problem. I told her that until this was resolved, the project could not be considered complete and that we would be placing Renewal by Andersens charge to my credit card into dispute. 3/23/2022 Renewal by Andersen's Scott called to say his boss just left but that his boss would call me in the next few minutes. Once again, his boss never called. No one at Renewal by Andersen has responded to my communications or contacted me since. User's recommendation: Stay away from Renewal by Anderson. Preferred solution: Refinish paver patio to the same condition before Renewal by Anderson stucco subcontractor damaged it.. Renewal By Andersen Pros: Acknowledged their sloppy work and mistakes. Just a heads up - they basically have used car salesmen selling windows. High Pressure on the spot sales, trash talk competitors and they sell what they call proprietary windows with a limited warranty. If there product is so good why don't they have a lifetime warranty like Millguard? The rep said that there windows are super quiet best in the business, but their STC rating is 28 - Milguards style Line starts at 28 and get get as high as 36 with upgraded glass. There quiet line starts at 40 and can get to 48. It is an exponential scale so basically quieter than the drywall. 2) Price - INSANE - they want $2200 per window. Best Milguard is 1200 per Entry level is 500. I could replace them 4 times and still be ahead. 3) Guy quoted me 15k for a simple french door. If you want a snake oil company it is renewal by anderson. If you were doing a new construction perhaps they are cheaper. I would not waste my time with these people. read more

Salesman Quote: "Yelpers are NOT our customers." Moving into an older home we needed to do some updating with new windows and doors. I have heard about the quality of Andersen so we decided to set up an appointment for an in home estimate. That was mistake number one. I should have know by the way the initial phone conversation went. They were very particular and pushy about wanting both home owners to be present for the estimate. Luckily we could accommodate but many people cannot. They called over 3 times to verify the appointment time as well as texts. Upon arrival, our salesman Donovan Tuttle came into our home with his dirty shoes still on. Usually when I enter someones home I offer to take off my shoes to be polite and courteous. It didn't help that it was raining that day so wet shoe prints were tracked through our home. After sitting through his demonstration we were told to watch a video on his laptop while he wrote up the bid. The 1980's produced video was just reiterating exactly everything he told us. Yawn. As he was typing up the bid he was talking about reviews telling me not to trust Yelp reviews and Yelpers are not their customers. At this point he didn't even know I used Yelp pretty much everyday. Know your audience. Finally getting to the nitty gritty, he presented his bid for our 2 windows and one patio door. Seriously you want almost $11,000 for that? I told him we needed to talk about it before spending that much. He then proceeded to say the price goes to over 13,000 if we don't sign now. Really? Thank you and good bye. He immediately became rude almost throwing a tantrum because we didn't give him the green light. Since we are not in the habit of buying or donating to anyone who 'hits us up', we previously thought about getting new windows for this home, so we went with it. Since both of us needed to be available, we did some creative arrangement of schedules. Our appointment time arrived and went with a no-show. My husband left a meeting early for this appointment. No contact number was given on any of the papers so I ended up calling the Arizona office. Was told the order did not arrive and they would reschedule. Really? Is our time not worth anything? My husband is a realtor and trying to schedule anything is taxing. Our order would seemingly be a large one. The canvassing agent gave me his phone to bring in to check our calendars. I scheduled with someone in the office so telling me that the appointment hadn't reached the office is not the truth. Before leaving, the agent confirmed the time with company rep and off he went. Expensive windows but worth every penny. I had a demonstration of heat that goes through their windows vs. my old ones and let me tell you , there was so much heat coming in through my old windows that it would set off my AC to turn on so much more back then that what it does now after I replaced the front windows of the house which gets all of the afternoon sunlight. All I get now is beautiful light coming through the windows without hardly any heat. I don't even have the solar screens that I had with my old windows. The solar screens do help but not nearly as much as changing the windows to an Anderson Window. So glad I did that as my mom sleeps in one of those rooms. They offer financing. If you're looking to upgrade your windows, let them do the job. They are very professional with the installation leaving a properly sealed window with a 20 year warranty. Before you judge Renewal by Andersen based on the other Yelp reviews, take the word of an actual customer. None of the people who reviewed previously are actual customers (except one who is filtered out), and one is a disgruntled former employee (you can see that from the owner's response). I have a house full of Renewal by Andersen windows. Twenty-seven to be exact. And that number doesn't include my two French patio doors, my front door, and my garage-to-house door. So, in total I have 31 separate Renewal by Andersen products in my home. I've had these windows and doors installed for a year and a half, and I can't say enough good things about the company. First of all, the product itself is phenomenal. The reviewer who made the comment about vinyl should actually have listened to the presentation or done some research. Plastic building materials?? In the DESERT? Uh, yeah...not such a good idea. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with my windows and doors. My power bill has dropped substantially, and I've still got my two original 1995 air conditioners! I don't have hot rooms or temperature imbalances in my home any longer, I have ZERO dust coming through the windows, and the look of my house has been totally upgraded with these BEAUTIFUL windows and doors. Also, if you appreciate good service and installation, this is the place to go. I felt like they actually cared about me and my house, which is very rare. I always felt like I knew what was going on during the process, and everyone with whom I came into contact was a consummate professional. The installers are prompt and clearly know what they are doing. My house was cleaned up after each phase of my installation (I didn't do the whole house at the same time), and all of the workers were courteous and professional. Renewal by Andersen windows and doors are definitely not the cheapest on the market, but you get what you pay for. If it's performance you want out of your windows and something that's going to last you a lifetime, you should really consider these guys. Do not patronize this company. It is a big rip off. Had windows installed in May and there is one that does not close properly. It is now Nov. and they still have not fix the problem. Will have to take them to court as they are not willing to replace window. read more

Our new sliding glass door and new doggie door look amazing. We will be calling them again as we do more renovations. They aren't cheap but, "you get what you pay for". read more

Love! Love! Love! my new windows! I am a repeat Renewal by Andersen customer. Last year they replaced a small 5' slider door with the most beautiful (and every efficient) 12' Gliding French door in my living room. It is solid and an incredible focal point in the great room living space. great light and a view to the backyard now. I love it. Now, this year, I wanted to upgrade all the windows in the house. Twelve in all. I was tired of the 30 year old aluminum frame windows failing/full of condensation and dust. They are the worst energy loss in the house, too. I called around because I knew it would be an investment. I met with other good named companies, but chose Andersen at the end. I didn't want vinyl frames-not in the desert heat! Andersen gave me a very fair price. I'm a repeat customer and they respected that. They are always very helpful, respectful, attentive and informative. From the sales staff, the customer service and order processing folks, Steve the manager, Luis, every person that was in my home last week... They knew I had company staying with me -the same day they were ripping out every window in my home. They pushed my order to be ready on time, and they sent a large crew to handle it in one day! I still cannot believe they replaced all of them and were done by 3pm! One was a large arch over the kitchen, and one was a circle that did not open. They converted it to a square double hung. Now I can open my bathroom window. I love it! Thanks again, Renewal by Andersen, for another excellent job all the way around. My home looks fantastic now! If anyone is considering new windows, please do yourself a favor and invest in these windows. They may be a bit more expensive, but the patented wood/poly fiber composite frames and beautiful looking, very energy efficient windows will make it more than worth it in the long run. When people consider resale value, like I did, people either say, "the home has new windows." Or they say, "the home has Andersen windows." I know I just made the best decision for resale value and lowering my energy bills, let alone a gorgeous look to my home. lol. I'm clearly a thrilled customer. Please disregard the low rating by that former pissed off employee. He is trying to push people away from these guys, and there must be a good reason for him not being there anymore. He tried bashing the company to me, as well, as a former customer. But, to no avail. My proof is in the pudding. read more
